How to supress blank fields in report ??

Hi all,
i am trying to build a report which should give only result row infront of each customer..i dont want any keyfigure details..i tried SUPRESS RESULT in CACULATE SINGLE VALUES AS in keyfigure properties but its giving blank fields in place of single values..How do i remove this blank fields..
Any idea pls share..

yes the layout is same as u mentioned..
ROWS -
COLUMNS
customer-net due date----balance-formula-formula
net due date is used as replacement path variable to calculate other formulae.
if i take out net due date from rows my formulae are not working.
i tried SUPRESS RESULT in CALCULATE SINGLE VALUES AS..its giving only result BUT in place of single values its giving me blank fields..i dont want those blank fields..:-(

You can have the dynamic items in a frame which would shrink or grow depending on the circumstance.Now your item below this should be anchored to the frame so that it shifts itself up or down depending on the frame location.

Hi gurus.
can any one let me know how to supress blank page in scripts? When one of my condition satisfies it should print two pages and its working fine. When condition fails, it should print one page but its printing blank page as second page.

1. By providing the control commands in scripts,u can supress the blank pages.
2.write the data between protect and end protect.
3.Enclose the text that you want to prevent page-break in PROTECT... ENDPROTECT
SAPscript will ensure that each line of this text is printed together on the same page.

How to add new fields in report painter without library

Hi,.
I have to add new fields in report painter(std one) which is not in any library and so I am not able to add the fields in characteristics. Though I have added zfields in CCR1S but I am not able to add these fileds in characteristics in report painter(say - CJe3 t-code)
How to procedd for this.

hi,
first i copied the report 12KST1G in my Y12KST1G with form. In CJE2 when i Click this report then in the whatever fields coming in the characteristics we can put it in 'variables' tab and these will be the fields which is displayed on the selecton screen. So after doing the wbove changes in the exit , I am not able to get the fields in characteristics vale so that I can put it in variable. or do we have to do some chnages in the screen for this z report which is like std. one.
FYI..The display of the fields was done in z-report with library but this is like a report without library and we did some chnages in the exit.

How to Handle Blank Field Value based Condition in SmartForms

Dear Sir,
In SMARTFORM , we need to define a Condition that incase Field Value is not equal to BLANK value (blank means that field is empty) then a specific text gets printed .
Our problem is that We do not know as how to define Empty Field Value based condition .
Had it been Non Empty Field value based condition then solution was simple and could be done in following way :
Field Value                        R                     Comparision Value
WA_KZDKZ                      =                      'X'
In our case , we need to give Blank (Empty Value) instead of 'X' .

To handle blank field values in SMARTFORMS,
Go to the conditions tab in your SMARTFORM and give condition there
Field                Comparision operator          value
<Field name>      <> Here symbol is diff     space.
eg:

How to supress the Field in MIRO

Dear All,
There is requirement of our system auditor.In MIRO transaction they want " Invoicing party " in "details tab" to be supressesed .No body from accounts dept.while making invoice verification can enter another vendor in that field as this vendor comes frrom PO by default.
I checked in Customisation also but unable to found this field for making the same to be grey means supress.
Please help and guide me how to make this field supressed.

when i referred to Screen variant: ZWHATEVER i meant that you have to create one (this means that you´ll be asked to create a transport request).
Once you have created it you justhave to assign this screen variant to the transaction MIRO In SHD0.

How to remove blank pages from report

Hi All
i have a condition where i have to display the record only when trxn lines are available for that record ,inside my for each group condition i put the if condition having a count variable so if count is not zero then only the record will be displayed ,it works but problem is it shows blank pages for those records.

How to include #/Blank Value in Report

Our cube is loaded with Flat file,The cude didn't had any master data only transaction data.The records are based on user name in flat file there some records with out user name in flatfile with BLANK which is #
The data is loading into cube where blank is loaded as balk spack
but in report i want to restrict the user name to exclude the bank (User Name) Records with out user name...But the # is not appearing in the user name list in Bex to restrict...how can i include the #

In the report you want to exclude the data where username is #. Correct? And when you try to do that in the Query Designer, you don't see the # value in the list?
In the list if you dont see it, simplest way is this... There is a search box at the bottom of that screen. In that type #. Dont hit search. Click on the left arrow which moves the values to the right. Now right click on the value and say "Exclude from Selection".
Let me know if I understood your question correctly and if you can get it to work.

I am showing the address of the customer in my form but I noticed that when a variable doesn't have a
value, it still shows as a blank line. For example:

Hi Viraylab,
There are two ways by which you might clear this issue.
1. If you have created a template for the same and under that, if you have created separate rows for each field/group of fields, then you need to remove those rows, as the blank row will be displayed as it is.
2. You can directly write the code for the condense using the statement CONDENSE wa_field.

I'am having troubles with reports, i have design a report that has 2 sql, so there are 2 layouts in the report, the first one has many columns so I put it in 2 pages wide but the second sql is only four columns, so it is in just 1 page wide, my problem is when the report is printed the first pages are printed but when the data from the second sql begins i have one page printed then one left blank, the check box that indicates blank pages is uncheked, but the blank pages still remain printed, if anybody has the solution please let me know

Use the commandline parameter BLANKPAGES=NO. This will suppress blank pages when you generate to file and print.

How to Supress -ve sign in report painter output

hi,
The no-zero addition suppresses leading zeros when used with type c or type n variables. In the case of a zero value, the output is all blanks.
The no-sign addition, when used with variables of type i, p, or f, suppresses the output of the sign character. In other words, negative numbers will not have a sign and will appear as if they were positive.

I have requirement to supress zeros in rows of AR Report in Bex Analyzer.IS it possible to Supress zeros in BEx analyzer itslef or i have to suppress in Query designer.

Hi,
Jsut open your query designer and select the query in which you put the changes.
now on top there will be an icon for query properites just select that and on right hand side panel select the tab rows/column
and in that there will be an option supress zeros select active all values =0
and then effect on rows.

To add to what Rod and Russ have said, the white on white option actually has real uses and not just for suppressing a sorted item. It is a most useful technique that I use a lot to hide the intermediate row-level results of analytic functions, while just displaying a grand total. It looks cool too. If I find some time I'll make a posting on my blog although it probably won't be until next year - oh yeah that's only two weeks away isn't it?

How to supress a blank page in smart forms

I am using a command in Smartforms to trigger a new page whenever a new BELNR(Accounting document). My problem is in the output i am getting a first page is blank and remaining pages are ok.
What i did Is In conditions tab i written as temp NE belnr. So first time temp is nothing so blank page is coming. and in the following text elements i am passing a belnr value to the temp.
Temp = belnr and in general attributes go to new page check box has been activated. Then how to supress a blnk page.

I am not using loop.
In main window i have the contents as
Header---- Headers for table
Main Area---- text elements ( i have fileds slno, belnr,glaccount,cost center,gtext,description,dmbtr,wrbtr)
In belnr field i have created the command there i am comparing the condition temp ne Belnr and go to new page on conditions tab
wrbtr text element i am passing the g_temp =belnr
My requirement is whenever new belnr comes new page has to trigger and corresponding gl accounts need to be displayed and end of the belnr i want to display the footer.
For your information passing the belnr values from the print program (select options) to smart form
Footer---footer
