How to swich to music player, while surfing web in ...

While opening web or downloading any file,if u wanna switch to music player without closing/exiting from browser,u just have to open any youtube video aur link(as any link with rtsp type format).
By doing this, you just switch to music player and browser and its downloads run in background.
For coming back to browser, just hit the right(back) key.

how to get back music lost while syncing to itunes?

If the music you lost during the sync process is no longer on the iPod, in your iTunes library, or in a backup elsewhere, I'm afraid you are out of luck.
You may be able to redownload any lost purchases via iCloud (pending you live in a country where iCloud has gone live).

I was wondering if there is any top free app for cleaning up ...
There is no such thing, since the problems you are describing can have various causes. Seeking anything claiming to "clean" your Mac is asking for trouble, since all of those products are scams, whether they are "free" or not.
If you are having trouble with your Mac, describe what it is. Be as specific as possible. For general recommendations read below.
There will always be threats to your information security associated with using any Internet - connected communications tool:
You can mitigate those threats by following commonsense practices
Delegating that responsibility to software is an ineffective defense
Assuming that any product will protect you from those threats is a hazardous attitude that is likely to result in neglecting point #1 above.
OS X already includes everything it needs to protect itself from viruses and malware. Keep it that way with software updates from Apple.
A much better question is "how should I protect my Mac":
Never install any product that claims to "clean up", "speed up", "optimize", "boost" or "accelerate" your Mac; to "wash" it, "tune" it, or to make it "shiny". Those claims are absurd.Such products are very aggressively marketed. They are all scams.
Never install pirated or "cracked" software, software obtained from dubious websites, or other questionable sources.
Illegally obtained software is almost certain to contain malware.
"Questionable sources" include but are not limited to spontaneously appearing web pages or popups, download hosting sites such as C net dot com, Softonic dot com, Soft pedia dot com, Download dot com, Mac Update dot com, or any other site whose revenue is primarily derived from junk product advertisements.
If you need to install software that isn't available from the Mac App Store, obtain it only from legitimate sources authorized by the software's developer.
Don’t supply your password in response to a popup window requesting it, unless you know what it is and the reason your credentials are required.
Don’t open email attachments from email addresses that you do not recognize, or click links contained in an email:
Most of these are scams that direct you to fraudulent sites that attempt to convince you to disclose personal information.
Such "phishing" attempts are the 21st century equivalent of a social exploit that has existed since the dawn of civilization. Don’t fall for it.
Apple will never ask you to reveal personal information in an email. If you receive an unexpected email from Apple saying your account will be closed unless you take immediate action, just ignore it. If your iCloud, iTunes, or App Store account becomes disabled for valid reasons, you will know when you try to buy something or log in to this support site, and are unable to.
Don’t install browser extensions unless you understand their purpose:Go to the Safari menu > Preferences > Extensions. If you see any extensions that you do not recognize or understand, simply click the Uninstall button and they will be gone.
Don’t install Java unless you are certain that you need it:
Java, a non-Apple product, is a potential vector for malware. If you are required to use Java, be mindful of that possibility.
Java can be disabled in System Preferences.
Despite its name JavaScript is unrelated to Java. No malware can infect your Mac through JavaScript. It’s OK to leave it enabled.
The same precaution applies to Adobe Flash Player. Newly discovered Flash vulnerabilities appear almost weekly.
Beware spontaneous popups: Safari menu > Preferences > Security > check "Block popup windows".
Popup windows are useful and required for some websites, but unsolicited popups are commonly used to deceive people into installing unwanted software they would never intentionally install.
Popups themselves cannot infect your Mac, but many contain resource-hungry code that will slow down Internet browsing.
If you ever receive a popup window indicating that your Mac is infected with some ick or that you won some prize, it is 100% fraudulent. Ignore it.
The same goes for a spontaneously appearing dialog insisting that you upgrade your video player right this instant. Such popups are frequently associated with sites that promise to deliver "free" movies or other copyrighted content that is not normally "free".
The more insistent it is that you upgrade or install something, the more likely it is to be a scam. Close the window or tab and forget it.
Ignore hyperventilating popular media outlets that thrive by promoting fear and discord with entertainment products arrogantly presented as "news". Learn what real threats actually exist and how to arm yourself against them:
The most serious threat to your data security is phishing. Most of these attempts are pathetic and are easily recognized, but that hasn't stopped prominent public figures from recently succumbing to this age-old scam.
OS X viruses do not exist, but intentionally malicious or poorly written code, created by either nefarious or inept individuals, is nothing new.
Never install something without first knowing what it is, what it does, how it works, and how to get rid of it when you don’t want it any more.
If you elect to use "anti-virus" software, familiarize yourself with its limitations and potential to cause adverse effects, and apply the principle immediately preceding this one.
Most such utilities will only slow down and destabilize your Mac while they look for viruses that do not exist, conveying no benefit whatsoever - other than to make you "feel good" about security, when you should actually be exercising sound judgment, derived from accurate knowledge, based on verifiable facts.
Do install updates from Apple as they become available. No one knows more about Macs and how to protect them than the company that builds them.
Summary: Use common sense and caution when you use your Mac, just like you would in any social context. There is no product, utility, or magic talisman that can protect you from all the evils of mankind.

  • IMac froze while surfing web last night (color pinwheel), I forced quit and now when rebooting the fan and chime come on, the monitor stays on grey and the apple sign is replaced by a stop sign and I can't get past this, is there self fix? Never backed up

iMac froze while surfing web last night (color pinwheel), I forced quit and now when rebooting the fan and chime come on, the monitor stays on grey and the apple sign is replaced by a stop sign and I can't get past this, is there self fix? Never backed up.
The computer (top / back of monitor) gets really hot within minutes.

    How old is the iMac?
With no backup, you have probably lost all your data.
Sounds like serious hardware problem for which you are going to have to take it to Apple for an estimate of repairs.

  • While surfing web too many website redirect occurs on safari as well as Google search. I am using wifi. This problem not there on my pic which is connected through wired modem

While surfing web too many website redirect occurs. I am using wifi.  some times it redirects to sexual sites some times to App Store. I tried after deleting history and cookies also. I am using safari and Google browser. I changed router configuration and password but problem still exists.

Hi! Thanks for your quick reply.
A few things happened since I've posted this.
1)I've deleted all the history and cookies from my macbook safari and when I opened the website with the issue, the problem did not happen this time.
2)Seeing this, I've deleted my history on iPhone's safari and opened the same website but the problem was there again.
3)The problem does not happen on iPad.
So, I do not have the problem at all on Google Chrome but on Safari (now just on iPhone)
Is this still about my router settings? If so would changing my phone DNS settings would suffice? Or do you think the problem might still remain on my computer as well?
This is so frustrating for a person who does not know anything about technology at all
    Thank you!

  • How can I watch a movie while surfing the web?

I've been trying to figure out if there is any way to anchor the iTunes player so I can watch a movie while surfing the web. I've had no luck, Please tell me there is a way! =)

There are two ways I do this.
    1. I set the playback in preferences to play the video in a seperate wind. Then I size the browser window so I can see both at the same time.
    2. My prefered method is to play the movie on my extra monitor I use. That way I can run it full screen while working with a full screen browser.

  • How? loading seperate music player .swf into main site prob.

    hey all!
Ok something that I still don't really understand, have tried
to modify afew flas but with no luck.
Anyhow to the point. I have a main fla file with all my
content in it and a litlte music player that plays 3 to 4 external
swfs with music &animated LEDs in it. Anyways right now the
music player itself is built into my main fla file. I would like to
move the player a little bit so its coordinates change. However
obviously when i do this and test movie the external music swfs
that load have little LED moving animations and the 2 files just
dont match up, so they load into the wrong area. I also tried to
move the LED elements exactly the same amount as i did with changes
in the main fla in moving the music player graphics but still not
working. Do you think these files are working with "tell
targetting" or? Im sorry im awful with code so..
Any good and simple tutorials for a numb nut like me would be
appreciated on this topic so i can understand whats really going on
here. Normal logic doesnt seem to be getting me all that far.
    Tks!

ahh thanks Jeff i guess i would say for nuthin.
Hopefully someone else can give me a litte bit more to go on
    then that!

  • How can you add a music player a LR3 web gallery?

I feel like this would be a highly desirable feature and assumed Adobe would add it to Lightroom 3. That doesnt seem to be the case. Does anyone know an easy work around for adding music to your Lightroom web galleries? Dewplayer http://www.alsacreations.fr/dewplayer-en.html seems to have a open source mp3 player with a code generator. I assume i can use that and then cut and past the code into one of the lightroom gallery files. Where do i paste it? I am using lighroom's simpleviewer web gallery.
    -s

I've tried dragging the html snippet into a blank pag
iWeb ( +previous to iWeb 08+ ) has no HTML Snippet.
but there is allot missing including the interactive buttons, and graphics.
    Check the pathnames.

  • How long should the battery last while surfing the web?

I'm curious to know how long the battery on my Macbook should last when just surfing the web and downloading music and videos. I'm getting about 3 hours, I have a feeling it should be a lot longer. I don't have the brightness all the way up and I dim the illuminated keys.

It really depends on your configuration and what you are doing on the web.
If you have minimum RAM, the HDD will be accessed more often, causing heat which causes the fan to come on more often, which uses up power.
While I watch youtube and other forms of streaming video, my fans are usually on, so my battery life is less.
While cruising these boards and such, my battery lasts twice as long as streaming.
3 hrs while downloading music and videos is not a bad figure.
What you might want to do is watch a 2 hour movie and document the amount of time you get from the battery.
Do the same while streaming a movie.
Do some typing and or general surfing sans streaming type stuff.
The above spans a different range of CPU and graphics usage.
Then post back your times here. You will get a better indication of battery condition.
Also, post back with how much RAM you have.

  • Listening to music while surfing web

When I listen to music on my iPhone while browsing websites at the same time, my music often stops. It happens more with some sites than others. Plus I can't restart my music from where it left off. Have to start song from the beginning. Has anyone else had this problem? Just got my iPhone for Christmas so I haven't had it that long. Any suggestions appreciated.

Glad to know I'm not alone.
You know, I find it hard to believe that the QA people didn't listen to music and run safari at the same time.
I manage to crash the iPod functionality after about 15 minutes of surfing. If I reboot the iPhone, it'll give me about 30-45 minutes of surfing before I get into the crash-every-15-minutes mode. Seems like a resource leak to me. :P

  • Does iOS5 allow streaming music while surfing web?

With iOS4 I could stream music from a website and surf the web (although it was a pain because I had to find a hyperlink in an email to click and open a different page) but with iOS5 as soon as I open a different page the music stops playing. Any ideas? Apple, please fix this!

    Anyone? Help please...!
Is Apple monitoring these discussion boards, as they're on the Apple website?

  • N95 - how do I stop Music Player playing my sound ...

I'm listening to songs on the bus, and suddenly, I've got a 2 minute recording of my other half snoring in my headphones. Or a 30 second sound clip of a man giving me directions to the Ikea store. Or a memo to myself to check the price of blu-ray players.
For Goodness sake, music is music. Sound clips are not music. Can't the N95 tell the difference?
I've looked everywhere on the phone for an option to stop this annoying feature, but I can't find anything.
I'd move my sound clips to my PC, but Lifeblog won't touch 'em.
    Thanks.
    Tiburonsmoke  /

Thak you. I'll give it a go. Really, I shouldn't have to go to these lengths, but if it works...
I don't know if my reply will be allowed to stay up here, but - for the record - the N95 is a truly mediocre phone, IMHO.
I went to the trouble of updating the firmware a few months ago, only to find that the most obvious bugs (slider crashes, predictive text glitches (my phone substitutes 'upx' for 'try' and 'rage' for 'said' and won't let me cancel them), camera software that blatantly ignores exposure settings +/-ev, etc.) WEREN'T FIXED.
    That's right, they WEREN'T FIXED.
I took a look at the N97 the other day, and changed my mind. If Nokia can't get the N95 right, I'd be mad to get an N97.
    Thank you once again.

  • How to get the music player--for audio books--to p...

I've been using a Sony MP3 player to listen to audio books that I can chek out of my local library using a software product known as "Overdrive Media console"  I see that there's an app for this on the Nokia 920, but the only output I can get is via the speaker.  I haven't tried a plug-in headset.
    Any ideas?

If u have an iPod u can transfer purchases from there. be sure to Authorize account on your new laptop. Press Check for purchases on the Store tab once u have authorized it and see if u have anything there not yet downloaded. All else fails, contact apple, Im sure they would allow u get them again if u have the purchase emails they send to bill u. Good luck

  • How do I install Flash Player for Iceweasel web browser on Debian Linux?

How do I specify the path to the Iceweasel installation
    directory?
    Thanks/
    Läben.

The simplest way to install the flash player on Debian GNU/Linux is to install the flashplugin-nonfree package from the contrib external repository.
Make sure the contrib repository is enabled in /etc/apt/sources.list or /etc/apt/sources.list.d/, and then do:
    sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree
If you want to check for flashplayer updates, do:
    sudo update-flashplugin-nonfree --install
Note that this is proprietary software, and is not part of Debian itself.
