How to swipe between photos with a quick look in os x mavericks?

Before in Mountain Lion i could swipe between photos with two fingers using quick look. Now in Mavericks this gesture doesn't work. Anyone has this feature works?
And one more, in Snow Leopard i can open photo with pressing the space bar and pinch with two fingers zooming in full screen. This feature (zoom with two fingers) doesn't work in Mountain Lion. Is it possible to back those gestures in Mavericks?

You mentioned you could still find the "Quick View" ("Quick Look"?) option under Customize Toolbar. That would be really handy for grandma, but I can't find that icon among the choices. I'm running 10.9.4. I've included a picture of the icon choices see.
I did find File/Quick Look Attachments…, and Quick Look in the attachments menu that appears just below the header of the message. But both of those techniques require remembering to look inside something. Grandma does much better with icons in the Toolbar for some reason.

Hi all
I bought the Xperia Z1 mainly for the camera, but I am not satisfied with the results. In articles like the one linked here, it states that "Sony has wisely set the Z1 to take 8-megapixel oversampled photos by default".

Though,in superior auto my Z1 takes photos with 5248 x 3936 = 21 MP! Could that be a reason for the poor image quality and how could I in that case change this setting without going to manual mode (there I already changed it).

I have now first tried clearing the data/cache, but no change. The I repaired the phone (loosing all settings done), but it is still the same. The pictures made with "Superior auto" are of 21MP and around 7MB big.
I also found a colleague that got her phone at the same time and for her it is the same, i.e. the pictures made with "Superior Auto" are of 21MP and around 7MB big. She had though thought that this is how it was supposed to be.
So the question remains. Do I need to send the phone for "repair" or is this acutally the way it should be?
Are there no other users on this forum that could clarify this?
The way I do it:
1. Start the carmera app.
2. Choose "Superior auto" if not already done
3. Take the picture
4. Open the picture with "Albums"
5. "Options" -> "Details"
6. States"Width: 5248" and "Height: 3936" (i.e. 21MP)
Is this correct or not?

Can't scroll between photos with mouse anymore?

I am just beginning to use iPhoto 08, and have noticed that now when I am viewing one of my photos, there are no arrows to move on to the next (or previous) photo as there was in iPhoto 06. Also, I remember there used to be a bar of images across the top of the screen so that if I was viewing one photo and wanted to move on to the next one without exiting back to the menu, I could just click that photo.
Has this functionality been removed with iPhoto 08? Is the only way to scroll between photos (when they're being viewed in the window) to use the keyboard arrow keys? Or to exit out of the picture view and back to the main menu of pictures?

Here's the difference:
When you double clicked on a pick in v6 it brought you to edit view: A strip of pics across the top and the right/left arrows lower right, all in the main window.
To do this in v7 click on the edit button.
Or: iPhoto -> Preferences -> General -> Double click photo: and select 'Edits Photo'

To print plain photos in HP Photo Creations, select the Prints project rather than the Collage Prints project. (Collage prints let you place up to 60 items on a page, including photos, graphics, and text.)
Here's a step-by-step guide to making single plain prints in sizes from 4x6 up:

HP Photo Creations doesn't have a preset for wallet-size prints, so in that case, you can use the Collage Prints project to group multiple copies of the same photo on a page. Here's how:
Start with the Plain White theme. It's in the Contemporary category.
Add your photo.
Click the Photos tools and then the Used Photos tab. You'll see a small version of your photo there.
Click the photo in the Used Photos area several more times to add multiple copies to the layout. In the example below, we added ten copies total.
Click the Design tools. Then click the Photo Layouts tab.
Select the Basic category and then click the fourth preset. It looks like a big square. Your photos should line up as shown below.

Regardless of whatever setting I use with the 'Advanced' print menu in Windows or within Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, I STILL get a border around every print. I've even set 'Custom print size' in Photoshop to the full 7 x 5"- and the on-screen preview image shows the paper size correctly filled without a border - but the printer still gives a border, like it or not!

I understand that you are trying to print a 5x7 borderless photo with the Photosmart 6525, but it will not despite the setting you have entered.
The 5x7 paper does support borderless, I was able to print one fine. You mentioned applying this under the Advanced setting, was this the area?
If not, you can access this by right clicking on the printer from Devices and Printers, then Printer Preferences.
Have you tried to print the photo from Windows Photo Viewer?
Also, the HP Print and Scan Doctor is a great to you can utilize to ensure the drivers and software are functioning as they should.
