How to switch FM transmitter's mode from US to Europe?!

I live ir Europe and I bought Griffin FM transmitter for iPod Nano, but I don't know how to switch it's mode from US to Europe! Could someone please tell me because I can't find that information in user's manual!

I don't know where in Europe you are, but keep in mind that in some places (UK for example) the fm transmitters are currently illegal!
Sorry I don't know how to answer your question. I previously used an an iTrip with my old 3G iPod in europe and it worked fine.

Try starting iTunes with the shift key held down. If it starts it is probably some old plugin presenting problems.

How to switch to Target Display Mode under BootCamp?

Hi there,
I am running Windows 7 x64 under bootcamp and want to be able to switch to target display mode.
I can achieve this when running OS/X by hitting Command-F2.
Is there a way to switch to target display mode from within Windows 7 under bootcamp?
I would like to do this so that I can easily switch to target display mode whilst using Windows without having to restart my machine.
Any help would be appreciated.

Anyone knows how to set printer to economy mode from your ibook?

I am using a HP 1320 laser printer for both my ibook G4 and a pc. With the pc there is no problem to set the printer to economy mode for toner saving, but I can't find a way to set up the same mode from Mac. Is it because of the version of the printer software? Does anyone know how to do it from your mac?
Any suggestion will be appreciated.

My Canon driver gives me the ability to create presets based on specific types of pictures (high quality color, draft mode, black & white etc.). It sounds like the HP driver is not as generous.
All printer settings for ink, paper handling, etc. occur on the screen appearing when you select "print". If "economy" does not appear, then the PC driver probably (no surprise) gives more options than the related Mac driver.
Have you contacted HP directly? If not, it might be your best tact, at least to offer suggestions for future driver options.
In the 3rd party "driver" world, a favorite is Gutenprint (formerly known as Gimp-Print). This driver package may offer you more print options than HP.

How to switch DB string storage format from/to UTF-8 to/from ISO 8859-1 ?

As far as I understand strings in tables are stored by default in an Oracle DB in ISO 8859-1 format.
How can I switch the storage to UTF-8 format?
Do I have to change just a parameter (which ?) or do I have to setup/install the whole DB again?
If just a parameter switching is necessary:
How can I change already existing strings from one format to another?
Does it take place automatically or do I have to issue and explicite convert command (which ?).

i actually was cheated from the online assistant!
I always want an unlocked iphone 5s.Last time i was consulting the online agent, he or she recommanded me to choose t-mobile contract free mode.He said as long as its a nano sim card. it will work with any service
then i took it as he suggested. today when i was asking an online agent again that if there is any kind of iphone5s works with foreign sim card. after a while, i got that the t-mobile contract free modes only work with t-mobile service within US but you can use foreign sim card when you are abroad.
Is that a kind of cheating to make me just purchase it in the first place?
I am really disappointed with the apple agents wether they are not honest or not professional. I think i am going to be extremely careful next time even with those seemingly official enough company

Well the thing is Tmobile has to be the UNLOCKED version then. I have tmobile and I bought an Iphone 5s from Apple TMOBILE. Payed the 600$ and popped in my existing sim. I had no dealings with tmobile for my phone and have no contract. I should be able to go to ATT sign up and pop it in to work. So the Tmobile version is the "unlocked" version right now and a sim is included for convience.
If you notice the bottom of the phones it says it will only work with the carrier you choose. Which is a clever way to word it. Which leads me to believe its unlocked. I payed full price so they cant "lock" it.

Firstly please don't judge me coz I know I've screwed up and learned my lesson but I downloaded a windows 7 torrent file, burned that to disk, set a disc partition on my mac thought the bootcamp and then installed windows but now whenever I turn my mac on I get blank screen, then a white screen then a black screen and the I am faced with the windows error recovery page - when I now run in any mode, the same thing happens when windows attempts tomrun then goes black and then I unplug my mac and start the whole process again! So I think you know what ou need to do: remove the Boot Camp partition with BCA and read the instructions in the program.
An ISO has to be burned at slowest reduced speed too.
You can download Windows 8 RP ISO from MSDN and use that also to format the partition you have now.
You realize how much mischief a torrent could do? maybe wipe out OS X or the partition table? try to mess with boot blocks or infect the motherboard. And, your IP address is on torrent servers so expect to see more rlogin and DDoS attacks against your router and ifrewall.

I have a problem making weblogic work with eclipse3.1. I am using a BEA WebLogic plugin to handle weblogic (start/stop) from eclipse. However I want to debug my application and I am unable to figure out a way to start my weblogic in debug mode like we do in WSAD. I tried using some other plugins also but no luck. Please suggest me a plugin to handle this or any other way of debugging my application from eclipse. I am using weblogic 8.1.

Created a server that i would like to deploy my EJB so that i can put break points on my EJB in eclipse.
How do i do it?
I managed to deploy an ear (containing the ejb) directly to the weblogic installed folder and it deployed the ejb. But the breakpoint set in eclipse is not triggered. Of course in this case as weblogic server is running the .ear file deployed manually in the file system.
Any help is appreciated.

Airport Express: How to switch out of Bridge Mode

I have an Airport Express connected to a Westell 7500 Modem/Router.
Talking with Airport Express support from Apple today they told me that since I was running in Bridge mode there
was limited amount of support that they could provide. Since my AE is only provisioning wireless.
I'd like to change that. I suspect that on the AE I need to unconfigure Bridge Mode.
The Apple person said that the modem would need be configured from 'Private IP to Public IP'.
In the config for the Westell there is an Advanced/Lan/Private Lan which is enabled and has a DHCP start address of 10.0.0.2
and end address of 10.0.0.33.
There is also an Advanced/Lan/Public Lan page which is currently disabled.
It has Public LAN DHCP Server Enable, Public Lan Enable, Public Lan IP address (set to 0.0.0.0), and Public Lan Subnet Mask (set to 0.0.0.0).
Are these the areas I need to change?
I'm currently using two of the Ethernet ports on the Westell. One feeds into the Airport Express.
The other is connected to one of my Windows 7 PC's.

I think my concern is support as we are becoming more Apple centric.
I would suggest that you check with your Internet service provider to see if they can furnish you with a simple modem.....not a modem/router or gateway device.
Then, Apple will fully support that setup....and your Internet Service Provider (ISP) will as well.
If you are thinking of trying to configure your modem/router to function as a simple bridge mode modem, it might be a good idea to first ask your ISP.....
1) if this is even possible and, if so,
2) how to do this, and
3) if they will support you when the device is configured this way.
I would be very surprised if your ISP will satisfy all three conditions above, so if service and support is important as you state, you might want to think of both your ISP and Apple in that regard.

How do I stop Full Screen Mode from auto advancing?

I am attempting to show a PDF slide show in Full Screen Mode. The slides autoadvance and I can't find out how to stop it. I went to Preferences and made sure that the box with the faded 5 sec was not checked for auto advance but the program still advances. Any help?

I can't get either Acrobat 9 Pro or Reader X to do this and I tried with several PDFs. Unchecked, nothing advances automatically. Maybe someone else has some insite.
