Since getting my iPad, I've had to switch the Apple ID twice and now I have a new Gmail account (old email was also Gmail). How do I sync all my apps, programs and calendars over to the new accounts? Right now I can't update old apps because the Apple ID is no longer valid and I can't get my calendar to show my new email, only the old one.

Apps are always tied to the ID with which you bought them. You cannot transfer purchased content to a new Apple ID. Are you sure that the old ID is no longer valid? Try using the old ID and password to update your apps.

iSync does not synchronize mail at all, and .Mac Sync synchronizes only mailbox structures, rules, signatures and smart mailboxes, not mail content.
To 'synchronize' mail, you must use IMAP technology, as opposed to the far more common POP3 standard for incoming mailboxes. The OS X Mail program supports IMAP account creation, as do most electronic mail providers, including AOL and Yahoo. Notably, Google does not support IMAP with it's Gmail product: it's probably best described as a slightly whacky, non-standard POP3 offering, and is not a good choice if you want to 'synchronize' you mail among two or more clients.
This sort of POP3 vs IMAP and mail synchronization discussion occurs frequently in the Mail & Address Book forum, and there are several 'experts' there—listed typically in the Top Rated Members in Forum list in the right sidebar—who help users all the time. my have a new computer because my old one broke and i need to sync all my apps from my ipod touch to my new itunes library. how can i done so?

- Transfer iTunes purchases to the computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
- The connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Then restore the iPod for that backup.
This will retain your app data.

I am using iPhone 5 (IOS 7.1.1) and want to sync all data from my phone with iTune library. I have already installed latest iTune for Windows 8. Hi, unfortunately only one of your screenshots come through. If you connect your iPhone to your computer and start iTunes, then go to View on your menu bar in iTunes, and select "Show Sidebar" that should show up your iPhone under Devices in the sidebar.
I've found that the failsafe way to back up properly ois to follow these steps:
1) Ensure all apps on your iPhone are updated using the App Store app.
2) Connect your phone to your computer and initiate iTunbes. Your iPhone wil sync automatically. Let it, and we'll come back to that later.
3) Once that's done, go to File>Devices, and select to Transfer Purchases from your iPhone to your iTunes account.
4) Once that's completed, ensure all your apps are updated in your iTunes library. In the Library folders in the Sidebar, look under Apps, and that will tell you if there are apps to be updated there. Click on that, to show the screenshot you provided, and then select Update All Apps from the icon in the bottom right hand corner.
5) Then from your Summary screen, back up your iPhone to your computer, and check the box to encrypt that back up.
6) Also back up your iPhone to your iCloud account. There's an option to do it from the iTunes Summary Screen, but personally i prefer to do it form my iPhone.
If you follow these steps, your backup will be watertight. Some might argue that the steps are not all 100% necessary, but it works for me and I never lose data.

Did you activate any restrictions for app installation on your phone in Settings/General/Restrictions? If yes, disable them.
Are you logged in with your Apple ID on your phone in Settings/Store/Apple-ID?

How to sync all calendar to a nokia e61i?

I have a new nokia e6i, and mac os-x leopard.
I tried to sync and first time it said that the device was not supported.
Then I downloaded and installed nokia e61i sync plugin v.1 and now it works. I synced all the contacts, but when I synced calendar the problem is that it syncs to the nokia only few days in the past (I had a 4 years iCal imported from a previous palm treo). The options I see in iSync only permit a maximum of one month in the past, is there a way to sync all the iCal with my nokia e61i?

Basically, just go to http://m.google.com/sync using the safari browser in your iPhone, log in using your credentials, and it will register that specific iPhone under your account. Once logged in, it will give you the option to choose which categories and subcategories you would like to sync with your iPhone.

Multiple devices -how to sync all to icloud and iphoto then delete from device

I have 2 ipads, an iphone and a macbook. I want to be able to take pictures using whichever device and have all the pictures be stored in my iphoto on my macbook. I have purchased plenty of icloud storage but want to make sure that all devices will all sync to the same place and if i were to delete photos on the the individual devices that they would be safely stored in icloud. Also, if this is possible, will they automatically go into iphoto and what settings should i have? I dont want the whole photo collection on each device only pics i take on it and have them all centrally stored (ideally in iphoto on the mac and in icloud).
i have iphone 5 running ios 8, ipad mini running ios 8 and ipad 2 running ios 8. am planning to update to os x yosemite when available and will be using icloud drive on each. i appreciate any help, i have been using icloud for a while but its a mystery to me how it all works and want to try and save memory on my devices but dont want to lose pictures in the process. thanks!!

Until iCloud photo library is fully launched, and you are running OS X Yosemite with its new photos app, you won't be able to store your photos in iCloud and delete them from your devices. At the present time, when you delete a photo from your device, it is also deleted from iCloud.
You can, however, take photos on your devices and have them automatically stream to iPhoto on your Mac, and saved to your iPhoto events. You will need iPhoto '11 (9.5) on your Mac. Then go to Settings>iCloud>Photos on your iOS devices and make sure My Photo Stream is turned on on your iOS devices (and iCloud Photo Sharing if you want to create shared albums). On your Mac, make sure Photos is checked in System Preferences>iCloud, then launch iPhoto and go to iPhoto>Preferences>iCloud and make sure My Photo Stream is checked as well as Automatic Import (which causes your streamed photos to be saved to your iPhoto Events) as shown in the image below. After that, any photos taken on your iOS devices will automatically be added to your photo stream (when they're connected to wifi with the camera app closed and at least 20% battery power remaining) and will automatically be saved in iPhoto when it's connected to the internet.

How do I Sync all my Yahoo folders with MAIL?

I have managed to set up my Mail program on my Mac so that I can send and receive messages with my Yahoo account. On the initial synch it managed to download all of my inbox messages but no other messages that I have filed in separate folders. Also any messages I send do not get added to the sent list on the Yahoo server. I have synched my iPod touch to pick up my mail aswell and had no problem retrieving all of my folders and the messages in them, including the sent and deleted folders. And if I send a message from my iPod touch it gets added to my sent folder on the Yahoo server. Similarly if I move a message from the inbox to one of the folders on my iPod touch this is also updated on the Yahoo server. This continuity means that if I send a message on my iPod touch and then need to forward this message again at a later date from my Yahoo account on the web I can as it will have synched when it got sent. I would find this very helpful if I can get my Mac to do this too as I don't always have my Macbook on me so if I file something on my Mac or send something from it I can't access it unless I have my mac with me.

That is why. POP does not support folder synchronization. You need to set it up as IMAP. You can find the IMAP server settings on Yahoo's support site. If your iPod Touch is synchronizing, than it must be POP.

Once i sync the ipad, i cant see folders !!! just all the pics.
Is there an option to keep the folders and sub-folders ?

Thanks, but it give you the first folders.
Any folder under the first do not show.
So, if i have 3 folders with my kids name and every kid have 4-5 folders, then i cant see there folders just all the pics together.
i would like to see for every folder its sub folders... much more easy to find the pic you want to see,

How to sync all day events on my calendar

Hello!
I am able to sync but it is not pulling in the all day events I have set up on my calendar. I went into the configuration in the BB desktop software but I am unable to choose that column on my device and match it to one in outlook.
I use the all day feature a lot to keep track of b-days and anniversaries and such. Is there a way to do this or a better way way to record these items on my calendar?

If this is a subscribed calendar that is pulling the events from another server on the internet, and you have a CDMA phone (such as Verizon or Sprint), it may be because your carrier doesn't support simultaneous voice and data (i.e., when you're talking on the phone, the data connection is suspended dropping the subscribed calendar until you're finished with the call). This is just a guess; I can't confirm this with my phone as I have AT&T which supports simultaneous voice and data.
