How to sync audio to existing multicam edit?

Hi, I have done a multicam edit of my wedding from 4 different angles. SInce there was a lot of background noise, I have cleaned the audio track from one of the clips on an external program and imported it to FCPX.
What's the best way now to sync that audio to the existing edit? I only see options to sync clips in the event browser but that won't affect the timeline edit.

How to sync audio for an already edited clip?

So while editing a particular interview, I first cut the original clip without the sound file, just the radio cut, taking out the ums, pauses, etc. But I totally forgot to sync my audio file with it first. Now, I'm trying to sync the audio to the interview, but when I syncronize the clips, it doesn't line up correctly, because it is the raw audio clip (with all the ums, pauses, etc.), and doesn't conform to the new radio cut of the interview. Is there anyway for FCPX to take the original audio clip, and conform it to an already edited clip? Moreover, is there a way to automatically chop up the original sound clip to conform to the new video clip?

You could try making the edited clip into a compound clip and synching that with the audio clip. Other than that ...

How to sync audio tracks with RED footage that has no reference audio?

So I shot a short film for my thesis project and the damn crew didn't record reference audio. We shot on a RED camera and had a sound guy with a shotgun mic. So we have crystal clear audio tracks from a separate sound card and tons of RED footage with abosolutely no sound.
Lucky we did use a slate, so I know I have to go one by one and manually sync all the audio with the right video tracks. Though I am unsure how exactly to do it. Once synced, will I have to edit from the timeline? How can I reimport the synced footage into a new project so I can edit from my media bin?

How to replace audio in existing edit?

I've got some edited footage that I want to improve the audio for by processing in Adobe Audition. In the future, I will pre-process all my clips and then perform the edit, but I don't have the luxury of that with this project. I know I can edit the audio clips in Audition with the right-click option and the audio gets replaced, but that causes each edit to be clipped at both ends, whereas the original clip was from a larger clip and dropped in the timeline with in/out points. The difference being that I can cross-fade the original edit from shot to shot. With an Audition replaced edit, the ends are clipped and you can't do that.
So, my question is whether or not there is some other method of processing the audio in external applications and replacing them in the existing edit without disturbing the edit?

To answer your original question, I know of now easy way of processing your clips and replacing the existing ones already edited.
If I have this right you have your sequence fully edited?
There is a workaround, messy and time consuming but it will not spoil the video element of the sequence.
Process: -
Drag the audio for each clip so that it is on a track with space at either end of it.
Unlink each clip.
For every audio clip extend each audio's head and tail
Then use the edit in Audition link
The clips are individually processed
Then you can go back adjust the head and tail to what you want and fade out and in as you wish.
I'd manually fade each clip rather than add an audio transition
Take care not to alter the video clips at any time or you will go out of sync

On what computer operating system are you running Premiere Elements 9? And, please install the 9.0.1 Update if you have not already.
Are you wanting to sync the audio to a video file from which its audio has been removed?
If so, right click the Timeline video, and, from the pop up menu, select Delete Audio.
Then import your .mp3 files to an audio file, and align them with the video file on the video track.
For fine adjustments, as you hold down the Alt key of the computer main keyboard, tap the left or right arrow key once. One tap = nudge of one frame.
Or, as you hold down the Shift+Alt key of the computer main keyboard, tap the left or right arrow key once. One tap = nudge of 5 frames.
Consider: Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and setting Display Format = Milliseconds.

The Movie- the movements of my hands- is slower than the audio. How do I sync this in Quicktime 10?

There should be a setting on the camera for the audio bitrate.
Quicktime 10 does not have a preference panel. Better to use Quicktime 7.
Also check you settings in Audio MIDI setup:
1. Open Audio MIDI Setup (/Applications/Utilities/), then check the Audio Output setting.
2. Change the Audio Output setting to 44100.0 Hz.
3. Quit Audio MIDI Setup.

when using timewarp, audio is out of sync. is there a way to warp the speed from fast to normal and have the audio sync up?

No. By all means, Timewarp is just a pixel effect. You can try to use normal time-remapping on a second layer, though and sync it up. since AE is notz a sound editing program, however, it will shift pitch.

Swap out audio segment in multicam editing

I am doing a multi-cam edit with 2 angles. I have set cam1 as the sole audio source because it has the best sound. However, there is a 10 second segment where I have no sound. Cam2 has good enough sound at that time segment. I can create a "switch" to cam 2 during that time but I dont know how to change the sound to cam2 only for that one segment.

How to sync audio with slides?

I am trying to sync a recorded conversation with keynote slides showing the conversation for the viewer to read along. How do I sync the two so the slides move in unison with the audio conversation?

the easiest way would be to export the conversation to iTunes, so that it will be available in the Media Browser.
In Keynote open the Inspector window and in the document tab (the leftmost tab) click "Audio".
From the Media Browser select your background audio and drop it into the Soundtrack well.
Set it to play once.
Now in Keynote go to the "Play"-menu and select "Record Slideshow"
Listen to your Soundtrack and advance the slides at the right moment. Your action will be recorded.
Then save your slideshow. Whenever you play it again the slides will be shown automatically as you recorded.

How to avoid additional cut in multicam editing?

When I cut multicam and switch camera angles, an additional cut is made in the timeline when I stop playback. furthermore, the camera angle switches as well. That is totally nonsense! How can I avoid it? I use Premiere Pro CS6. Please don't recommend CC!

I had a live chat with the support and they told me that this is a known issue = error. So it is not designed but bad programmed and must be changed. I did a little research and found many complains about this "feature". One is this: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/738084?start=0&tstart=0
There are tons of those "designs" in all Adobe products. I could open several threats in the forum. I could live with some of them but I paid much money for the software and can expect that basic functions work as they have to do. And this is not an unwanted multicam cut or a half-working search function, for example.

How to sync audio with photos

I have 100s of photos in a slide show and need to sync them with the music. Looking online, all I saw for fcpx is to lay down a Generator and manually cut it to the beat of the selected music. Then Replace the photos into the segments. This is toooo hard. There has to be a better way or a plugin.

You can do this in Aperture. It has an automatic align slides to beats command and you can also do it manually as the slideshow plays. Just click the stopwatch icon and as the slideshow plays hit the spacebar when you want the slide to change.
I don't know a way to do it this easy in FCP X.

Syncing Audio and Video but wish for the Audio not to move on timeline?

Has anyone worked out how to sync audio and video within Premiere Pro but have the Audio stay fixed on the timeline and the video move? Every way I try it Premiere Pro insists on moving the audio. Locking the track does not work as you cannot select the audio within it to Sync with.
I have a music video shoot with 14 camera angles used on the lead singer (don't ask me why). Multi-camera editing is not an option as there are too many sources for my brand new MacbookPro to handle. I think I would need the computer from Superman II to edit that many clips together.
What I am doing is syncing the first clip, the one Im going to use as the baseline fall back shot and then I need to sync other clips onto the timeline. However Premiere Pro insists on moving the audio to fit with the video not visa-versa.
Any help would be appreciated.

But on the E6 the bottom toolbar decreases available screen size in most apps, most noticeable in Web browser where the full view has gone. The bottom toolbar is not optional, you can't configure it yourself.
And: "Homescreen widgets will now come in up to five different sizes (1x1, 2x1, 4x1, 2x2, 4x4) and allow a greater degree of interactivity.", but on the E6 they are in only one size, always with large borders and other visual effects.
So beware of differences between phones, perhaps some aspects of Belle work differently depending on the type of device.
"Notes now brings up a white (and AMOLED-unfriendly...) editing screen.": that you can change by switching themes, "Dark Solid for Anna" does a good job. It is a shame that the lines of Notes have gone though.
When switching themes, I found you have to restart the phone, otherwise the theme doesn't get properly loaded in all apps. Stopping/starting apps is not enough. So when experimenting and loading one theme after another, you may end up with disfunctional combinations of black-on-black and white-on-white, but it may not be due to the last theme. Also you may end up with a good combination that isn't around anymore the next time you restart your phone.
