I have followed all the steps to syncing my contacts however when I go to my friends page, there is syncing option. What do I do? I took it to the sprint store and they were absolutely worthless and no one knew how to do it :-(

Go to settings, scroll down to facebook, login and turn on contacts , facebook and calenders if you want that too. and update all contacts.

TS1347 I had to get a new hard drive on my laptop PC. Now I am unable to sync my contacts and calendar from my iphone to the outlook software on my PC. Although they are backed up on icloud, I really want the information on my computer.

You cannot directly transfer anything from an iPhone to an iPad. If your iPad is signed onto the same Apple ID as your iPhone in Settings>iTunes & App Store, then it has access to the same Music library as your phone. Click on the More tab in the iTunes App on your iPad, and then on Purchased, Not on this iPad to see all of the music available to download to the iPad. You can also set the "Automatic Downloads" option to ON in Settings>iTunes & App Store and going forward, any music you purchase on the iPhone or via iTunes on a computer will automatically download to your iPad. Set the same setting on the iPhone to have it do the same.
As for photos. If both the iPhone and iPad are signed onto the same iCloud ID in Settings>iCloud, then turn on Photo Stream on both the iPad and iPhone to share Photo Stream photos between the two devices. Photos on your Camera Roll that are no longer on Photo Stream, or photos in other Photo Albums would have to be sync'd to the iPad via iTunes on the computer you sync with (assuming you have imported your photos to that computer).

I know it seems like it should be a simple thing to do but I just got my iPad today and was trying to get my contacts and calendar that I have on my iPhone over to the iPad. I then realized that none of my contacts and calendars that I have created on my phone are on my computer... I don't mean to sound silly, but after you checked to sync the info, did you do a sync?
you do have the option to sync between devices via iCloud. however you may wish to back up the info if you can because iCloud ate all my contacts.
Another more tedious way is to e-mail your contacts, one at a time, and open the e-mail on your iPad and computer and save it.

The extra content will be in the HD/Library/Application Support/iDVD folder. Check to see if that folder is still present. Or check in the Home/Library/Application Support for the iDVD foldler.

It is crazy but in the apple store they set up the icloud for me and then I started sync the iphone against the icloud and i had some photos in streaming because they recommended to do like that. After that, the space got not enough and they asked for more more to increase the space, so I decided to come back to the previous method and sync my iphone with itunes via usb. Well, the email address that i had for my apple id became unavailable so i had to create a new account this time with gmail and since then, i cannot sync my iphone. I have done it today and i have lost my contacts and the calendar is no ,onger sync. I am using outlook to manage my mail and when I look for the i cloud it asks me for the old email address which no longer exists and does not match with the current one.
