How to sync iCloud?

Mine is not working. It does not automatically upload to all my devices.
What do I do?

I was going to do that sign out and sign back in, but i got the warning that by doing so it would delete the info stored from the mac this is not what i want I just want my devices to be in sync again and they are not at all in sync , they were before i upgraded my desktop. maybe i should have just let the desktop remain using an older version software.

How can I sync the photos on my iPhone to my new MacBook Air? I have been assuming that when I back up my phone, my photos and videos are on my iCloud account and could, in principle, be synced to my MacBook Air. Is this possible?

The iCloud backup is storing your Camera roll photos, but you can only use it to restore the iPhone. See: iCloud: Backup and restore overview
Either connect the iPhone to a USB port and download your Camera Roll directly to iPhoto or Aperture, or enable the Photo Stream on your iPhone and on your mac. That will upload all photos from the Camera Roll to iCloud, and you can download them from the Photo Stream to iPhoto or Aperture. See: iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ

HELP! Having serious syncing problems with iCloud
Problem 1: Syncing my iPhone 3G (calendar and contacts) and MacBook Pro with iCloud - All accounts are "enabled"
Problem 2: Contacts appearing in duplication on my iMac Contacts and iPhone (when it was syncing)

Probem 1: I assume you have a 3GS, not a 3G since the 3G can't run iOS 5 and thus can't use iCloud. Assume that's true, exactly what happens that causes you to believe that it isn't syncing?
Problem 2: Duplicates are caused by trying to sync your contacts with both iTunes and iCloud. You have to pick one, not both. If you want to sync with iCloud, uncheck sync contacts on the Info tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync your phone. (Same is true for calendars.)

I recently updated my itunes/istore id. Now my ipod touch won't recongized the id for the cloud. It works fine for the rest of the ipod but my old id (email) is still on for the cloud how do I change so all is the same. BTW the passwords old and new won't work with the old id... Should I put it back in?

I would like to know how to DELETE icloud from my iMAC desk top. Would it automrically have synced with my wife's I pad, and other wireless devices, or is it all seperate

You have to search with some patience and you will find all the informations on the Apple support pages and here in this forum.
You find i Cloud in SAFARI at www.icloud.com and set as you like.
Usually iCloud sincs all the devices which have the same AppleID.
If you wish to use devices for different persons you need to give them different AplleID and on the MAC create different User Accounts. Each will be fully separate.
Or you can go to settings (settings are to be found under the apple icon on top left of the screen) and from there open Sistem Preferences and iCloud.

How can I re-sync icloud? I am using iCloud to keep my iPadd2 and iPhone 4S syncronized with Microsoft Outlook 2007 on my Windows7 PC. It started out working fairly well two days ago but as I use my devices the sync gets worse and worse. It updates some items and not others, it will update some contacts and miss the photos. It stopped syncing the calendars completely. The notes no longer sync at all.
What I am trying to get help with is a complete resync of all items but I have not been able to find any information or help on the Apple site. All links seem to take me to information about features but I am unable to find a help section.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Mountain Lion permitted this via the Info tab on iTunes. I don't want to use iCloud. ymcneil - thanks for the work around. But isn't it amazing Apple forces us to do this to maintain our privacy.
I live in Australia where there are good privacy laws protecting citizens. I do not want to be forced to use iCloud when the data sits in the USA with weaker privacy laws and also able to be seen by the US Government under the Patriot Act. Further I suspect Apple will interrogate my contacts and calendar for commercial purposes and I do not want that either.
I chose to synch my calendar and contacts with my iphone and ipad. I have relied for years on carrying around my phone with my diary on it. I can no longer do that.
Whoever made this decision at Apple has to be someone who knows little about the world. I can actually see EU regulators getting very annoyed by this.
I too woud like the itunes mac to iphone/ipad local backup given back.

I have three device: Macbook Pro (OSX 10.7.5) for work; an iPad and a Blackberry for mobile. I used mail, iCal, and Address Book combine with mobileme (iCloud) to exchange data such as contact, calendar and task from my Mackbook Pro to my iPad but never to Blackberry. The problem is my boss was asking me to change to Outlook 2011 for Mac because some of the email that I sent from Mail did not appear in my client's Blackberry. So how do you sync iCloud (contact, calendar, task) to Outlook 2011 for Mac? and how do you make seemless sync between iCloud to Outlook 2011 to Blackberry device or an iPad?

You can't, there is no connection between the services, use one or the other.

You would sync Outlook via iTunes on the computer. Connect the iPhone to the computer, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes running, select the iPhone in iTunes and it will display the Summary page. Select the Info tab, and there you would select what you want to sync calendar and contacts to. Make sure since this is the first time you have done a sync that whichever of the devices is new to the sync process has at least one unique contact/calendar event to get iTunes to prompt you for a merge or replacement. Not being a Mac user, I cannot be sure, but with Windows, you make a setting to sync iCloud and other Windows contacts. There is probably a setting you need to make on the Mac.

On my mac calendars are intended to be private calendars that aren't synced, if you merely want all your calendars synced delete any calendars that are on my mac (or just uncheck them to hide them - make your default calendar an iCloud calendar) and just use iCloud calendars.
If you have any appointments in your on my mac calendars, double click them to edit and change the calendar to an iCloud calendar before deleting or hiding.

Hi,
Why are you trying to add a book as music? It will not match as this only applies to music files. It will be uploaded if the bit rate is 96 Kbps or greater.
You should change media type to audiobook and you will be able to sync by wifi or USB.
