How to Sync limited emails (last 1 week or so) from Google account on Iphone6

I sync Gmail account on my iphone, however it sync all emails 5000+ on my device. where i can find Mail to Days option for GMail. Please help.

I didn't answered my question, but I got it to work without having to re-install.
Delete all these files and folders from the eclipse/plugins and eclipse/features folder of your Flash Builder installation folder
com.adobe.cslib
com.adobe.inverurie
com.adobe.xmp
Open the CS Extension Builder plugin package
Copy all .jar files from the plugin directory and paste them into the eclipse/plugins folder of the Flash Builder installation
Copy all .jar files from the features directory and paste them into the eclipse/features folder of the Flash Builder installation
Extract every jar (ex: com.adobe.cside.feature_2.0.0.4-33034.jar file is extracted into a com.adobe.cside.feature_2.0.0.4-33034 folder)
Delete the .jar files
Restart Flash Builder
Everything works fine so far. There is a small glitch where the "CS Extension Builder Start Page" seems to miss its stylesheet, but the panel is working anyway. At this point, it's fine by me. And I'm still not able to uninstall the plugin with the "Installed Software" window (the button is grayed out).
So much for being lazy. And for wanting to repair my mistakes, of course.

If this is a POP mail account:
Settings > Mail.... > Your account > Advanced > Delete from server > Never.
However, this will risk re-downloading as new mail
IMAC accounts mirror what's on the phone in the server, so deleting from the inbox on the phone will either send it to the trans folder on the server or leave it in the inbox but marked as deleted (depending on the server)

iSync does not synchronize mail at all, and .Mac Sync synchronizes only mailbox structures, rules, signatures and smart mailboxes, not mail content.
To 'synchronize' mail, you must use IMAP technology, as opposed to the far more common POP3 standard for incoming mailboxes. The OS X Mail program supports IMAP account creation, as do most electronic mail providers, including AOL and Yahoo. Notably, Google does not support IMAP with it's Gmail product: it's probably best described as a slightly whacky, non-standard POP3 offering, and is not a good choice if you want to 'synchronize' you mail among two or more clients.
This sort of POP3 vs IMAP and mail synchronization discussion occurs frequently in the Mail & Address Book forum, and there are several 'experts' there—listed typically in the Top Rated Members in Forum list in the right sidebar—who help users all the time. How to make Reply (all), to an email I sent, to be sent from same account as the original email?

I have a number of Email accounts configured, all of them as pop mail. And, they are all configured to use the same Inbox and Send folders, Thrashbin etc. They are all correctly configured with the appropriate Sender and Reply to-address.
My problem, has started occuring, I think, after I exchanged my default and some of my email accounts.
Sometimes I need to reuse a message that I have sent, to fill in some details, or whatever.
Typically I open an Email from the Sent folder, remove my own email from the distribution list, add some more text
and resend the message to the original recipients.
What I want, is for the new message to be sent from the same sender address as the original email.
But, since I changed my default account, the new email created by opening an email from the Sent folder
and clicking Reply or Reply all, now gets a different Sender and Reply to - address.
And this means I have to remember to edit the Sender address.
I seem to get this problem regardless of whether I do Forward, Reply or Reply all, to create a new Email from the old one I sent.
This is really a nuisance since I keep forgetting to do this, and it takes extra time and effort for something that used to be quick and easy.
How can I make Thunderbird include the correct Sender address, (the one that I sent the original email from) when doing this, without my having to change it manually each time?
The address Thunderbird chooses is not even my Default email address, but the first account that appears after the Default account in the list of accounts, at least that is what it seems like. I have tried to find a way to reorder the accounts, but I have not been able to find that.
Is there a way to reorder the accounts?
Would it help if I recreated the accounts so the one I use as default becomes the oldest one? But that, would help only for the default account, and the other accounts would still have the same problem, I assume?
I could live with this, since the default account is the default account for a reason.
Would it help, if I separated the different accounts, into different folders?
Or is there a setting to configure how Thunderbird does this, or even have it ask every time I create a new email from the Sent folder?
Each one of the accounts, is configured with the appropriate smtp server settings, (probably irrelevant for this problem).

Good suggestion. It gets rid of the "mailto:", but I have to remove the space after dragging the clip into the user name box. Interestingly, I can open the clip with TextWrangler, remove the space, and save it as a clip. However, the clip, as a clip, still has the space! When I open it again in TextWrangler, the space is gone, but still appears when I drag the clip or open it in the Finder. So not quite a cigar. But definitely useful.
So the question remains, where is a clip's data stored? Is it editable? If so, how? If not, why not?

There is no way for anyone on this forum to assist you. Apple will also not assist you. If you purchased the device thru ebay, file a claim. If you purchased it some other way, I'm sorry. there is nothing anyone can do to help you.

Keeping emails in mail but deleting them from .mac account?

My mobile phone wants to download the entire .mac mailbox whenever I check my mail - is the answer then to empty the .mac mailbox everyday? I once did this and lost all the emails in Mail on my computer. I'd like to keep them on the computer, but is this possible?

Hello, and welcome to the Discussions.
Exactly how you use your Powerbook and phone is the key to arriving at the best way to do this. If you do not have your Mac connected at all times, or at least when needing to use the phone to check email, then you can set up your .mac account as a POP account, rather than .mac, and then remove messages from the server whenever you first download them onto your computer.
A .mac account, like an IMAP account (it really is just an IMAP account) has its Inbox, and usually its Sent mailbox residing on the server, whereas a POP account has the Inbox, Sent, etc residing on your hard drive. While you can leave messages on the server, when using POP access, so as to download to other computers, the original concept of POP was to download and remove.
The Mail Application has all the needed selections for instructing the server to keep or remove messages after download, when the account is set up as POP.
The other choice is to create a New Mailbox, which will be on your Mac, and then move messages from the .mac Inbox to this new mailbox, and thus remove them from the Inbox, which should take them off the server.

Stopped receiving emails from Google account

I had my Nokia email set up to for a couple of days now and it was all working great until today. I was able to sync and receive email this morning but now it doesen't seem to download any new emails to my inbox. I can still send emails though from my Nokia Mail using the Google account though.
Has anyone else suddenly developed this problem?

Encrypted email shows up decrypted when recieved from collegues account where it was sent to, w/o his private cert installed

I have 2 email accounts in Thunderbird 24.5.0.
Account 1: My Account, s/mime and certs properly setup for signature/encryption
Account 2: Collegues Account, no s/mime etc. set up, no private cert installed in thunderbird. He has his certificates of course.
When I send an encrypted email from my account (1) to my collegues account (2), and I receive this email from his account (2) in my Thunderbird it comes up _de_crypted in my inbox. How is that possible w/o having his private certificate installed?
Also in certificate manager I only have my certificates installed.
Also in the sent box the message shows up decrypted, but source only shows the encrypted message.
If I understood encryption properly I use his public key/cert (wich I automatically get from a server) to encrypt a message to him. This message can only be decrypted using his private key/cert. Without me having his private key/cert installed I, as for my understanding, should not be able to read the email I have sent to him when I receive it in my thunderbird (ir in sent items)?
Is TB somehow recognizing that I myself had the message encrypted and therefor displays it decrypted when I receive it from my collegues account? It shows the message in clear text in send objects too even though the source is encrypted. What mechanism is behind that? Again, w/o my collegues private cert/key I should, as for my understanding, not be able to read the mail, neither in sent nor inbox...

I'm fully aware that I use my collegues public key to encrypt the message I send to him. But I would need his private key to display it decrypted. However when receive an email from his account, wich was sent from mine and encrypted with his public key from my side, it shows the decrypted message in my inbox and sent items. How does TB display the decrypted message from my collegues account w/o me having his private cert? If one could decrypt the public key encrypted message with the public key it would render the encryption system useless. So TB must store the pre-encrypted message somewhere and recognize, upon receiving it, that its actually the same message sent from the same thunderbird installation.
I assume that based on the following:
When I send an email from my collegues computer from his account to his account and encrypt it, it shows the expected "message can't be decrypted"-message when I receive it on my computer. So the reason for displaying the decrypted/non-encrypted message must be that TB stored the uncrypted content somewhere and recognize it's the same email upon receive.

How do I get Firefox 12 to open a link from Google search results?

Ever since upgrading to version 12.0, whenever I click on certain links the browser just "reloads" the same page I am on rather than loading the new page in the same tab. When this happens it's not opening the link in a new tab or window, instead just for a second the tab I am on says "connecting" and has the circular busy indicator, and then I'm right where I was before. In order actually follow a link I'm having to context click and then click Open in a new Tab.
On a lot of websites the links follow as usual and open the new page in the same tab. Others don't however, such as the search results page from google. I'm wondering if this is something to do with the new anti-duplicate tab feature, and if so, how do I disable that? I'm on OSX 10.6.8. Thanks.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

On your daughter's computer you need to use Store > Deautorize Computer and enter your Apple ID and password.
If you don't have access to her computer, but have 5 authorized in total, you can deauthorize all then reauthorize the ones that you want to. You can't repeat that process for a year.
