How to sync my address book to here

I went to my AT&T account to sync my address book but it said I needed to download Mozilla so I did and now what do I do?

What steps are you following to sync the addresses? Firefox sync does not sync contacts, however Firefox Hello has contacts on the Desktop version of Firefox.

  • How to sync my Address Book data on my iPhone to my Address Book in my Mac and viceversa

Hi guys -- When I was using mobileme, any change I made on the Address Book of my iPhone would sync automatically to mobileme and to the Address Book of my desktop iMac, it was hassle-free.
Now that iCloud has replaced mobileme, how can I do the same?
I've already updated my iPhone 3GS to the latest iOS 5 and my iMac is running 10.6.8.
Do I HAVE to upgrade to Lion?? I don't want to.
    Best!

You do have to upgrade to Lion to enable you mac to sync with iCloud, as it is built into OS X in System Preferences (see http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/mac.html).  Once you do this you can enable syncing with Address Book, iCal, etc.

  • How to sync my Address Book and my Outlook contacts?

I am new to Mac.  A friend successfully transferred my Outlook contacts into my Address Book but if I make changes in one place (e.g., on Mac in Address Book or on iPhone in Outlook Contacts) they do not show up in the other - even after syncing.  Please help.  I need simple, basic instructions.

start by using iCloud support page and forum, realizing this isn't macbook pro area, and that some of it would be handled by iTunes and possible other softare you might get directed to in the iPhone Community.

  • Sync of address book/contacts not "taking"

I watched the tutorial on how to sync my address book on my laptop with the iMac contacts. Then I followed the instructions today (8/12/07), and I seemed to have synced successfully. However, when I login to iMac and open the address book, I still get the message "Last synchronized on 07/08/2007 at 10:55 AM" and the data is NOT synced. I've gotten no error message to indicate that I didn't sync properly, so why is the data not updated?
Thanks so much for any help you can provide!

The simplest way to do that would be to create a group in Contacts that has just the ones you want and only sync that group to your iPhone.

  • How do i prompt Address Book to sync?

    To Forum,
My Address book syncs with Google and vice versa. How do i prompt Address Book to sync once i have updated items within it? i see it syncs here and there on its own accord? whats the prompt? what do i have to do? or why does it sync when it does?

. . .from my old address book.  (10.4.11)    I tried to import the ABBU file into CONTACTS  (10.8.2 ) .  The drop down warned that this would "replace" the existing contacts.  That is what I wanted to do.  Writing over the dozen addresses that I had copied from old emails was no big deal, but now those are gone and the address book is EMPTY.  The new addresses are gone and the old addresses did not import.
    Help !!!

  • How can I sync the address book from Mail to my Address book?

  • How can I get my iphone to sync its address book with my mac?

I have iCloud configured to sync my address books, but they don't. I have all my contacts on my phone and want to be able to have them put onto my mac. I've never been able to figure this out. I used to have the sync address books setting selected (before iCloud), and it still never synced. I've read other discussions on this and have tried adding a contact to see if it prompts a message about merging contacts come up, but nothing seems to work. I have tried everything it seems. Any help?

You'll have to use Wi-Fi to sync, Bluetooth is not supported:
You can use iPhone with the Apple Wireless Keyboard and other Bluetooth devices, such as Bluetooth headsets, car kits, and stereo headphones. Third-party Bluetooth headphones may support volume and playback controls. See the documentation that came with your Bluetooth device. For supported Bluetooth profiles, go to support.apple.com/kb/HT3647
    From the manual: iphone_user_guide 5 page 109
Use iCloud to keep Contacts up to date on your iOS devices and computers
Go to Settings > iCloud, then turn on Contacts. See “iCloud” on page 17.

  • Blackberry desktop manager 5.0 won't sync windows address book/mail

    Hi,
before I upgrade my laptop to win7 64 bit with DM 5.0, I had Vista 64 bit with DM 5.0 and I was able to sync windows address book.
Now on my win7, I can't select it anymore. I install the same software what I use on vista to win7. I use a blackberry tour, OS 4.7.
Like the picture see here : http://images.crackberry.com/files/u7860/Outlook_Sync_Selection.jpg
you can see that you can select windows address book/mail.
I try on win7, to install the latest DM, but still can't check windows address book/mail. I uninstall it, reinstall DM 5.0, also no luck. I remove intelisync, try again, still no luck.
Any idea how to get the it to sync with windows address book/mail ?
    Thanks

So, since it is a selection (from your image), what happens when you select it?

  • How to synchronise IMAP address book in Thunderbird, with or without Kolab?

I am setting up an IMAP account on my website's email, to use as webmail and on 2 laptops. As far as I can see, IMAP promises much but crucially fails to deliver. It does a great job syncing the emails in the three locations, but it is worse than useless having 3 separate address books all out of sync.
The TB docs mention the SyncKolab add-on to sync the address books. But this is complex and frustrating. If it works at all, I can't puzzle out how.
What syncKolab seems to do is to set up a new folder of the server called "contacts" and to place a message-form record in that folder for each address in the laptop address book. What good does that do me ...? Does this solve the problem in some way I'm not seeing? What I need is that the actual address book on the server contains the addresses on the laptops, and vice versa. I don't get it, how the server fold which Kolab creates, helps me. The server address book is not updated.
I do not need calendar or task sync, just address book.
With or without SyncKolab; indeed, with or without Thunderbird! how do I sync the address book on my IMAP server with my laptops?
    Many thanks
    Andy

looking at the add-on, the idea is simple, use an imap folder for address book data, very similar to what Yahoo does with the Y!Messages folder to store their chat clients archived messages.
install the add-on in two different Thunderbird installations and it uses that folder to synchronize the address book.
    These instructions look simple. http://www.gargan.org/en/Mozilla_Extensions/SyncKolab/Installation/
All that would be left would be to modify the account in Thunderbird not to show that folder so it is not a distraction.

  • Palm contacts do not sync with address book

Contact data from my Palm Tungsten does not sync with Address Book. I am running the latest Palm OS and Desktop with iSync 1.5 and Panther OS 10.3.9. Calendar is syncing correctly. According to the log, iSync thinks that the Address Book is also working but no data gets transferred in either directon. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Hi,
i also used iSync for a long time with my Tungsten. BUT(!) iSync is very poor! I learned to know MissingSync and this is a really cool App! Now i have categories in my calender after syncing with my Titanium, i have all adresses and there are a lot of more cool features. Look here:

  • Outlook 2011 won't sync with Address Book iCal, etc.

We recently adopted Outlook for the Mac 2011 (we used Exchange) for our platform because of Exchange compatibility issues with other applications.  Despite the clear statement in Outlook Sync Services that it will sync with Address Book and iCal, I cannot get it to sync with either.  I've looked around the forums, and deleted plist files, but nothing.  My iSync says that I have no devices, but I'm only trying to sync between Exchange and the apps on my MBP (I also have an iPhone but I'm okay with Exchange there).  I'm also reading about problems with iCloud and Exchange; is this the problem?
I'm not ordinarily this stupid, but I'm hitting a brick wall here.

You must be on OS X 10.7 in order to use iCloud.
OS X 10.7 (Lion) is available in the App Store as a digital download. It is $29. Best practice - be sure to make a backup copy of your computer before upgrading any software.
After you download and install 10.7 Lion, you will have an iCloud icon in System Preferences.
