How to sync my iPhone with itunes?
So i just got a new iPhone, and it doesn't have any of my music on it. When i try to sync it with iTunes, it doesn't let e and says that i need to update it. (I have iTunes 10.6.3) However, when i try to update it, it tells me i need to update my mac. WHen i try to update my mac, it tells me it has the most recent update. What should i do? I'm very confused and want some music on my iTunes...

If I click on that, I get a sidebar with info on my phone and to the right is information similar to what I'd see in previous versions of iTunes. What can happen is that you might have emptied your iTunes library for any reason such as a system restore

When transferring iTunes content and photos from another computer, all iTunes content and photos transferred from a different computer will be erased from the iPhone first with a warning message provided beforehand indicating this will occur. -

I have imported a new CD into my iTunes library on my PC. When I sync my iPhone with iTunes (on my pc), I don't get the new songs (or new CD). I have them on my PC but not on my iPhone. This just started to act this way. It was working in January 2013.

An update was requested in my iphone settings to sync my iphone with itunes. In my attempt to do this, I chose to sync with my old phone and lost all recent photos and apps. Is there any way to reverse this mess and retrieve what I had?
So, what i need to is
1. Check my iphone backup first if avaiable
2. Do ' restore ' my iphone at itunes

After i do all of this, what is the next step? Is it

You synced your iPhone with iTunes for the first time after how long?
And this didn't happen by syncing only. This means you transferred the backup for another iPhone or you restored the iPhone with iTunes. It is not possible for everything to be lost by syncing alone. All iTunes content on your iPhone can be lost but not any photos in the Camera Roll and the same for contacts unless you synced contacts with an empty address book application on your computer. -
