Make sure Address Book has at least one entry, the entry can be fake, that doesn't matter. When you do sync, and select contacts, this will generate a merge or replace prompt. Select merge. You never want to sync to an empty contact or calendar application on your computer.

If you recently updated your iPhone to iOS7, you will need to update iTunes on your computer to iTunes 11.1 or newer for it to correctly recognize the iPhone. You may find the following link helpful:

If the answer to the above question is "yes", FIRST, set up a backup of your new computer before you do anything else so the next time your computer breaks you will not be in the same situation. There may be several that were bought with your Apple ID. but somewhere in the updates there must be one associated with that other ID.
You can update one by one, until you find the one that requires the other Apple ID.

You should have restored the backup that was on your computer before syncing. Now it is too late. However, if you followed the instructions in the manual and set up an app on your computer to sync contacts and calendar to they will still reside in those apps. Photos in the camera roll are lost, however, if you had followed the instructions in the manual to copy photos from the camera roll to your computer regularly you can restore them to the photo app from the copy on your computer. Text messages are gone for good. Music and Apps should be in the music library on your computer.

You will need to restore the phone on the computer that you normally sync the phone to. That is the only method. You can restore from a backup so that will no affect your data.

Are you having outlook synch to the phone? If so, I am not sure what the problem can be. Maybe do a search on Synching outlook on the phone and see what problems they were having and how they worked around it. May find what you need there.

Working on that now. I'm just getting frustrated that everytime I run updates for the phone I end up with tech problems that I have to spend time solving as opposed to updates that actually improve my usage.
