How to synch calendar with IMac

How to I send an invitation to an IMac so our calendars will synch?

If you are trying to share a calendar on your iPad to someone else's iMac they must also have an Apple ID. On the iPad tap the Calendars button then tap the blue arrow on the one you wish to share. Then tap the "Add Person..." button adding there Apple ID email address, an invite will then be sent to the other person.

  • Is there a way to sync outlook calendars with Imac, Ipad, Iphone calendars.  I am not running exchange server.

Is there a way to sync outlook calendars with Imac, Ipad, Iphone calendars?  I am not running exchange server.

    hello,
BlackBerry devices do not support ActiveSync.
you have several ways, from best to less good :
    1)
if your company has set up Outlook Web Access, you can use the BIS connection of your device to connect to the Exchange server (email + Address book) through the url of the Outlook Web Access. The OWA needs to be accessible from outside the company.
    2)
if your company has setup an external link to the exchange server (can be accessible from outside the company), you can configure your BIS directly to the Exchange server (email only if I recall correctly)
    3)
if your company allows it, on your PC you can setup your email account to automatically forward all incoming emails to a third party email (like GMail or Hotmail), and then configure BIS to connect to that email provider. You will get push email. You can then setup a reply-to: field.
    4)
use a Windows Mobile phone that has the ActiveSync feature.

How CAN i chat with iMac cam and use iPhone 3GS chat

There is no web cam chatting with an iPhone - not yet anyway, but certainly not with and never with a 3GS which doesn't have a front facing camera. The iPhone 4 has a front facing camera for a FaceTime call with fellow iPhone 4 users only at the present time. You can instant message with someone on a computer - with someone using iChat on a Mac, but the iMac's camera will not be involved.

  • How to track calendars with multiple devices apple and droid

I have a iPhone 5 and iPad but would like to find a way to communicate my calendar with others using apple and droid products. How would I do that?

Sync your calendar with iCloud, then share it publically as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a9479.  This allows non-iCloud users to view the calendar (but not edit it).

How do I synch calendars between iPad and MacBook Pro?

Thank you for your help. However, I still have no connection; could it be that the laptop is signed in through my account and the iPad through my wife's?
If so, must I delete her iCloud account and reestablish it as mine?
    Thank you

  • Why do I get double entries when synching calendar with Google calendar?

Since I have different iCloud passwords on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s, I synch the calendars with Google calendar.  It works - to a point.  The problem I'm getting double entries in my IOS calendars.  Any suggestions?

I too was having this issue recently.  I decided to look into it and discovered that www.google.com and all of the search results accessed through using a google search engine toolbar were currupt.  I believe I solved this problem by updating my firmware of my router.
Type in your IP address in your Address Bar (search using Yahoo what your default IP router address is if you haven't changed it since you got it.)  You'll then need to navigate to your router's website (ex: I search Cisco and Linksys and found mine).
Most logins to the router are
    Name: admin
    Password: password
You will then download a .bin file and go to your administrator page in your router's control panel and go to Firmware Upgrade.  Click the "find file" (or whatever it says) and click upgrade.  This worked for me.
If this doesn't solve it, reset the router to it's default settings by either using it's control panel or holding the reset button on the back of it in for several seconds.  This will reset any port forwarding you may have set up as well as your Wifi password.
    Hope this helps,

  • How to synch calendars

My calendars on my iPhone, iPad, iMac, and iCloud do not match. How can I keep in synch?

Use the same iCloud account to sync them. Are they iCloud calendars or tied to an email account?

  • Synching calendar with microsoft outlook (Vista) - errors

When synching with my iPhone some of the dates seem to have moved eg: Holiday April 23rd to 28th, is shown correctly on my PC, but shows as Holiday April 22nd to 27th on the iphone... how do I rectify this?

At this time with the latest update of the Blackberry Link software it is possible to sync Outlook back to the Z10. The sync going to Outlook is supposed to come in another update from what I have been told.
There are work arounds to get the contacts between Outlook and the phone in both directions. This can be done using Hotmail ( http://www.outlook.com   or   http://www.hotmail.com ) with the sync option. A software called Outlook Connector is required to make this work with Outlook and Hotmail sync. This software can be downloaded from Microsoft. The Z10 can be synced with Hotmail. I tried this, and it works well.
Take note in Outlook the Hotmail contacts list will appear in its own sub folder inside of the Contacts Option area.  I have used this feature with Outlook 2010 only. I did not try it with earlier versions, but I think it should work. Outlooks is updated with the Send/Recieve action.
Syncing with Hotmail has its advantages. This allows remote PC access to the Contacts list through Hotmail. Corrections can be made in Hotmail and they should reflect in the phone. Corrections made in the phone should reflect in Hotmail. When setting up Hotmail in the phone, the sync feature must be allowed.

  • How to get Icloud with Imac OS X 10.5.8

    Hi
I have an Imac 7,1 with Memory 1GB, Intel cuore 2 Duo and 40GB free in the disc.
I leave in Spain and would like to know how to upgrade to be able to use Icloud on my Ipad and Iphone...
And if I get an extra memory of 1GB, will my Mac go faster? how many more memory I can put, I have seen on youtube is easy to do.
    thank you for your replies.

The Mac does a good job of keeping itself in good shape. Things to avoid are any apps that claim to make your Mac run faster and many on here would advise against installing anti-virus software as it can be a resource hog and some AVs can cause problems (based on reports on here) plus there are no viruses affecting OS X.
To check how much your particular Mac can take the macsales.com website I referenced above as a great RAM chooser:
http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/apple/memory/iMac Locate your model and it should be simple from there.
There is a free/donationware app that some recommend as being safe to use and handy at helping maintain your Mac. I use it ocasionally, not because the Mac necessarily needs it, but it makes me feel better . Make sure you download the correct version for your OS:

  • Desktop Manager 5.0 closes when synching Calendar with Lotus Notes 8

I'm running Windows XP, just installed Desktop Manager v5.0 and upgraded to Lotus Notes 8 and trying to synch to a BB Storm.  I continually get an error if I try to do a two way synch with my calendar only.  If I do a 1 way Synch to my Device with or without Replacing all data in target application there is no problem.  Once I change the synch to 2 way synch the synching with the calendar starts then immediately closes and displays the following errors: Blackberry 5 errors.  I've also synched with a Vista Machine and using Outlook calendar without any problem with the same BB.

I decided to open a real problem, so I went to Support.Apple.com and within a few short clicks, Apple called me.
I accidentally hung up on them, and they called back in 2 minutes.
I then waited in the queue for a few short minutes.  The person who answered, understood my problem and transferred me to the iCal department where I waited another 15 minutes.
The iCal department then did some research for 10 minutes, and came back to tell me that, unfortunately, iCal is working / not broken.  I disagreed, saying that this is my business computer and not being able to send meeting invites to anyone not using a MAC is insane.
The support guy suggested I tell the developers directly, via http://www.apple.com/feedback/ical.html.
    I did.
He suggested that you all do to.  The more people who feedback, the faster we'll get a fix!

i'm a newbie, is there a way i can synch my calendar on all my 4 system? thanks.

Yes, it is called iCloud.  If your iMac has Lion, Mac OS X 10.7.2 or later, you can use iCloud on the iMac and the idevices if they have iOS 5 or later.  Just click on the iCloud icon on your iMac, System Preferences, on the left side and under Internet and Networks and setup your free iCloud account.
