How to synch/Copy all Notes & Contacts from iPhone into iPad

I have a iPhone which is containing a bulk data in Notes and Contacts App. I want all these notes and contacts to be available on my iPad which I recently purchased. How can I transfer or copy and paste these bulk data on my Pad.

You have already been given the best options in the links already given. You can not regularly sync data between the devices with Lotus or iTunes alone. As outlined in the support documents Notes requires iCloud, Macs or a PC running Outlook for syncing Notes. Contacts can be done with Windows XP's Address Book, Contacts in Win7/Vista or OutLook.
Alternatively your only other option is to sync your iPhone with iTunes and let it create a Backup. Once the back up is done connect the iPad then select it in iTunes. From the iPads Summary Pane select Restore and when prompted select the iPhone's backup. This is will change all the iPad's data, settings and sync settings to be the same as the iPhone's. Any data saved to the iPad will be lost. This is a one time transfer and not a good method to keep the 2 devices in sync.

In fact I would like to move all my iPhone contacts to my new iCloud account. I have chosen the appropriate settings under iCloud settings, but (even after several days) my contacts have not synched with iCloud.

Having to sync my IPhone to my Mac periodically is getting old.
When I went to the iCloud website and loged in, I could find a method to copy each card individually. But I saw no way to move ALL of my contacts at the same time.
What I am hoping to achieve is the ability to type in information on my Macintosh contacts, and have them magically appear on iPhone. Do I understand this correctly?
I am using OS 10.6 (I cannot upgrade the OS yet because I require Rosetta.)

I would suggest staying on Snow Leopard and using Soho to access iCloud contacts and calendars. Snow Leopard will allow access to iCloud mail without a problem.
Have you checked with Grass Valley as to the availability of updated software for their A to D converter?

I have used the ADVC 110, it required no software at all, just a Firewire connection, which converter are you using?
As for the multiple operating system idea, it will mess up your workflow much more than you expect.

Export the information to your Desktop. Stop syncing in iCloud, which should give you the 'On My Mac' option. Then import the information.

You can use a program like Carbon Copy Cloner. It will clone your HD to the external. The format is the same as your internal drive and you can boot from it using Option key at boot time.

If you are syncing your iPad with your computer, one way to delete all your contacts might be to connect the iPad to the computer, then in iTunes select the iPad in the sidebar. Once you've done that, go to the Info tab. Uncheck the box for syncing Contacts, then in the lower right, hit Apply. All the Contacts on your iPad will be gone.
You haven't asked for solutions to use Snow Leopard with iCloud, but there are some solutions for Mail, Address Book and Calendar.

The iphone is designed to be synced to your comptuer.
