Sometimes the iTunes Store offers free movies, though not often. There are .99 cent rentals every week in the U.S. Seriously, though, it sounds as if you're asking how to get movies without legitimately paying for them. That's something we can't help you with.

  • How to publish a directory with datasocket to download the content via internet?

    Hi,
I have a VI, which makes a long scale measurement, thereby producing data in several subdirectories. I want to download the main directory, which comprises the data via internet, e. g. by ftp.
Can I do this with datasocket? Do I have to set up a ftp-server or can the datasocket-server act as an ftp?
Thanks for your help in advance.
    MB

You can write to an existing FTP server with datasocket. I know you can write text files, but I am not sure if you can use other file types. All you need to do is specify the URL of the ftp server you want to write to with the desired file name. For example, if I wanted to post a text file to NIs incoming ftp server I would use the following URL: FTP://ftp.ni.com/incoming/text.text[text].
You have to use the [text] extension to write to the file. Take a look at the attached screenshot. It will generate a sine wave, cast it to a string, write the file through datasocket, and then read in the same file and display it in a graph.

To provision LDAP user information for P6 EPPM for the first time:
Caution: Ensure that all users are logged out of P6 EPPM to avoid a reset of the P6 Administrator application settings.
Note: Verify which global profile is set as the default since this will be assigned to all provisioned users.
    1) Log into the P6 Administrator application.
    2) From the Authentication tab:
    a. Fill in the appropriate settings under the Authentication folder, and make sure that Login Mode is set to NATIVE.
    b. Fill in the appropriate settings under Database instance, and make sure that Authentication Mode is set to NATIVE.
    c. Click Save Changes.
    3) Restart the application server instance.
Note: If you do not restart the application server instance, the settings will be restored to the previous configuration after the next step.
    4) Log into P6 as a user with privileges to create a new user.
    5) Creating User Accounts for P6 EPPM to add a new user (in Native mode) that exactly matches an LDAP server user with rights to read the LDAP directory. Make sure to assign a global profile that contains privileges to add new users and search the LDAP directory and assign the appropriate project profiles and module access.
    6) Log back into the P6 Administrator application.
    7) From the Authentication tab:
    a. Change Login Mode to LDAP.
    b. Change Authentication Mode to LDAP.
    c. Right-click the LDAP Connection Settings folder and select Test Connection.
    d. Click Save Changes.
    8) Restart the application server instance
Note: If you do not restart the application server instance, the settings will be restored to the previous configuration after the next step.
    9) Log into P6 as the LDAP user created in step 5.
    a. On the Users page, click the Add icon. The Add Users from LDAP dialog box appears for you to provision users from the LDAP repository:
Note: You must have the Add/Edit/Delete Users privilege and the Provision Users from LDAP privilege to search the LDAP directory. You do not need the Provision Users from LDAP privilege to import users from an LDIF file.
    1. Either click the Load LDIF button, or enter an LDAP query (for example, uid=*) under Search users. If a search was previously performed by a user with the privilege to search the LDAP directory, the last query entered by that user will appear.
    2. If you clicked the Load LDIF button, browse to the location of the LDIF file, and click Open. If you entered an LDAP query, click Search.
Note: Depending on your P6 administrative configuration settings, you might be prompted to log into the LDAP server.
    3. A list of users will appear, grouped by status. For example, LDAP repository users that do not exactly match P6 EPPM users will be grouped together. If users exist in the LDAP repository, the User Name, Actual Name, E-mail, and Phone fields are populated (if you previously mapped those fields through the P6 Administrator application settings).
Note: The User Name field is equivalent to the Login Name field in P6. The Actual Name field is equivalent to the Personal Name field.
    4. Select the option next to each user account that you wish to import, or select the option in the fields bar to select all users. New and modified users are automatically selected.
    5. Click Import.
Note: The new users will be assigned the default global profile.
follow the above mentioned procedure and let me know if its working.

  • TS4118 how to sync calendar/contacts with imac, ipad, & iphone

I am having issues syncing with all of my products and would love some assistance, please.
I have the new ipad and the iphone 5.  I also have an imac running Mac OS X (version 10.6.8).  I can sync the ipad and iphone 5 with icloud but I end up with a lot of duplicates.  Nothing seems to be syncing with the imac.
I used to be able to keep my imac as the primary item that I would make all of the changes on, plug my ipad into the computer and when it would sync (over itunes), it would make the calendar/contacts adjustments on to the ipad, but since getting the iphone, that just isn't happening any more.  Is it because of icloud?  Now, there is nothing on my imac calendar - the iphone seems to be the primary with both the ipad & iphone having a ton of duplicates (both in the calendar and the contacts)!
Thanks sooo much for any assistance you can provide!

While waiting for a reply, you can read the documentation that was in the box your iPad came in.  It's a book about a Spanish guy called Manual.
The answer is iTunes.  Download it.  Install it.  Read the instructions.  Use it.

  • How to expand battery life with iOS5 on iPhone 3GS, it's shorter than before?

I upgraded to iOS 5 and since then the battery doesn't seem to last that long any more. Are there any settings I could change to improve that?

Just as a heads up -- I've been out all day for the last two days with my 3G without recharging, and I still have a half-full charge at the end of the day with bluetooth on (though not paired all the time) with Wi-Fi on, and with three or four hours of internet and music usage a day. I don't fetch data, but have it set to check e-mail every 15 minutes. And it has been on 3G the entire time...it doesn't run down as fast as some people might think -- in fact, it is a lot longer battery life than any other 3G phone I have owned from ATT.

  • How to view only emails with attachments on iPhone

I used to be able to go into mail and I could tap on "attachments" and it would show me ONLY emails that have attachments. I recently swapped my iphone for a new one of the same model and everything, but I don't see the attachments section anymore. Any ideas? I could not find anything about this in the settings either.

You will need to empty also trash to be sure. The email and the attachment will not be on iPod but may be a copy will still be on a server of your provider according to the system he uses (IMAP or POP3) and according to the preferences you have set on the mail programs (leave message on the server... delete it after a date or after deleting it from inbox or... there are many possibility).
If the mail message is still on a server teoretically you can download it again from the iPod or even another computer.. of course knowing your account settings and password.
What is not clear in your message: you mention 3 devices: sent thge mail from your cell (1) to your iPod (2) and/or to your friend (3).
Added later: you will also need to check the SentMessage Folder because a copy of the mail could also be there if you sett to keep a copy there.

  • How to load a directory in JTree with Children(On expansion)

    Hi,
How can I load a Jtree directory with children on expanding the node of that directory.
I have developed the following SSCCE. Please explain in its context.
My specific question is, when you execute the code given here, you can see the file bb.1 inside the directory bb.
bb.1 is a dummy which I used while creating the Jtree. When I expand bb, instead of the leaf bb.1 , I want to display some other file name, say qq.1 or jj.1.
    What should I do?

I believe JFileChooser has a method setFileSelectionMode() which will allow you to do this. You can configure the chooser to allow selection of FILES_ONLY, DIRECTORIES_ONLY or FILES_AND_DIRECTORIES.
I have not used this myself but understand it will achieve what you need.

    Hi,
in my case, I am trying to configure the OBPM directory using ALUI and its native LDAP service.
Now, I found that the first name and the last name in BPM are retrieved from the ALUI display name : provided we enter the display name in the format %first name% + %last name% we get them into BPM. But the display name is not always in this format...
In addition, it's the portal telephone number information which is retrieved into BPM Telephone and Fax numbers.
And, the email adress remains blank
I have installed the latest patch for OBPM (Version: 10.3.1.0.0 Build: #97172)
Would you have any documentation about creating a Profile Web Service in ALUI and specifying which LDAP attributes to map to which ALUI properties in the Profile Source ?
    Thanks !

WLS 8.1 sp1 has couple of issues with Active Directory. You need to get fixes from
BEA. sp2 is supposed to have these fixes included.
