How to take photo thru imac

Silly question have had Imac for three years and have never used the little camera on the frame...how does it work?

As well as that, there are apps and widgets which can use your computer's camera. iMovie, for one.

does anyone know how to take photos from IPHOTO into Lightroom?

Because Apple has dropped "Aperture" and is switching users away from "iPhoto" to a new photo application called "Photo" so that they are more fully integrated with the Yosemite 10 and the iOS 8.3 going forward there are some instructions how to import photos into Lightroom without losing to much metadata or other information. Go under Lightroom help and follow he instructions.

    Hi Mukesh,
I'd like to help, but can you clarify the issue?  Are you asking how to print a photo from your printer?  Also, can you confirm that your printer is a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3525 e-All-in-One Printer?
    Thanks!

There are also WiFi transfer apps that will let you move the photos from the iPad to your computer. Do a search in the App Store for "Wifi Transfer Apps". Wireless Transfer app is the one that I have been using. There others available in the store as well.

How to I take photos off my ipad mini if I don't have iPhoto or any other photo sharing sight? I would like to take them and put the photos onto a cd

You need to get the photos synced to a computer to archive/protect them.  Once there, do whatever can be done by the computer (you haven't indicated what brand computer or even if you have one) and burn to CD.

  • How to take photos with Android Charge

OK... here's my problem.  I have an Android Charge and really love all its features....except one - the camera.  I go to many concerts, sporting events, etc., and at every event I see other people with their cell phones taking crystal clear photos of the artists, yet when I try to take a photo (even if I am in the front row) the faces are blurred out and the photo is fuzzy.  I've tried adjusting the setting, the focus, nearly every conceivable option there is but can't seem to find the right combination of settings that will allow me to take clear photos.
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong and how I can set up my camera to give me great photos?
    Thank you so much.

        Hey there tjackowski1!
I love going to concerts too! Loud music is kinda my thing. Regardelss, I know having a phone that takes great pictures is essential when sitting front row!
Now, you can find all the different settings here http://bit.ly/TPmzT6 for your Droid Charge. Different situations require different settings. For example, you would want a nice high resolution for a picture that you wanted detail on (face shots). But for a landscape, you could turn the resolution down if needed. I would recommend for concerts to use the anti-shake setting to make sure that you are able to get a clear picture. You also might want to use the Party/Indoor Scene mode to get better preset settings for your device. I would try a few out on the opening act to see how they look and to get set for the main performance! *smiles*
I also might want you to look at your case. Sometimes, non-Verizon Wireless cases can hinder the flash or lens for photos. I have seen this before getting a bright pink hue over a picture with a flash from a pink case. So please check this.
Does it take photos well when not in the dark in a concert? Please let us know if it's only in the dark that you have problems or it's elsewhere. Thanks!

My idea is using the flashlight permanently as kind of "studio light" to take Photos in macromode:
Is it possible to take photos with the iphone when the flashlight shines permanently?
When the light is permanently on, it would be great to take photos without flash in dark areas or in macromode.
Especially for medical documentation (Dermatology etc.).
    I didn´t found any netsolution.
This could be an outstanding feature for many people.
How could this be possible? App-Solution?
    kindly regards

  • S60v3.1 how to take photos uncompressed

my 6124 camera is 2megapixel but image file size is only around 300k.
is there a way to take photos with less compression.
Does an alternate camera app exist (symbian or java) ? thx

i found its a menu driven camera app implemented in a python script which you can look at the code
(& tinker with notepad) which is neat this is the line which gives you uncompressed photos:
     img.save(full_path_str%pic_name_str, format='JPEG', quality=100, bpp=24, compression='none')
on my 2meg camera file size increased to 600k instead of the usual 3-400k
i didnt write it so credits to the author.
i did find all the bits you need to run it for anyone who wants to try it. you need the pys60 runtime and the shell scripter, then copy the camera .py file in your \python dir and run it fromthe shell scripter.
there is probably a way to package it to an exe.

  • How to get photos to iMac, when they were imported via camera connection kid

    Hi,
I have photos imported on my iPad with the camera connection kid, i.e. directly copying photos from the camera to the iPad in my vacation.
Now at home, I want to get these photos from the iPad on my desktop (iMac). I use Aperture for syncing, but also in iPhoto I did not manage. The problem is that the photos I have so imported on the iPad can be there found in the "Photo Library" album, while the "Camera roll" album includes the regular iPad Photos. The Camera Roll is visible in Aperture (and iPhoto) for importing as soon as I connect the iPad to the iMac and Aperture (iPhoto) is opened. But I cannot find the Photo Library with all the photos copied in my vacation...
    How can I import those?
    br
    a

Photos that were imported via the camera connection kit should be treated in the same way as those taken with the iPad in terms of copying them off : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
If that doesn't work then there are third-party apps such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network.

  • I would like to know how to take photos from IPhoto and put on thumb drive?

Would really appreciate the help of anyone who might know how to do this.

Select the photo or photos you want to put on the thumb drive. then click on file export. then fill in any information you want on the export window. kind jpeg would be the best. medium would be the best the under file name give it a name so you can find the pic on your thumbdrive. the click export. the next window will say save as, so give it the file a name probably the same file name you gave it on the other screen then the next line says where and thats where yoy select your thumb drive, it will usually display the brand of thumb drive you have. if it is already there select ok and your done. if the name is not there hit the arrow at the end of the line and look for the name of your thumb drive and select it then select ok. hope that helpls.

  • How to export photos from iMac to iPad.

I have a 3 year old iMac & iPad 4. I have read the discussions and the very limited iPad manual. These pictures are in my iMac not on an SD card or in my camera. They were imported to my iMac from a CD. I read about syncing and starting iTunes etc. I need STEPS & what device you start iTunes on etc. None of the discussions state this. So getting my pics from my iMac to iPad I need to do .........? Thanks

Connect the iPad to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under the devices heading
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
Click on "Sync Photos from" and then select the folder where your pictures are located - usually on the Mac in iPhoto. However, you can choose any folder from the drop down menu in the Sync Photos From heading that you want to use.
Click on any albums within that main photos folder that you want to sync.
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If all of your photos are in one folder on the Mac, you will not have any sub folders to sync.
