How to take picture of screen?

Is there a way, or app, to take a picture of the screen on my iPhone?
My digital camera cannot take a proper picture due to the glossy display, but I need the content on my phone to be photographed.

To take photos from iPhoto and put them onto a folder on Desktop, first create a folder on Desktop. Right-click on Desktop and create a new folder.
Then, open iPhoto, and you have two ways to export photos:

have an iphone 3gs that i got in march. worked fine until a few weeks ago when it stopped taking pictures. if i select the pictures app it willl take me to the video camera but when i slide the bar over to the regular camera the app shuts off, the screen goes black, and i get sent back to the home screen. how do i fix this so i can take pictures again?

HOW TO MAKE PICTURE ON SCREEN VERTICAL

The w2207 can be used horzonaly or verticaly. I am setting up 2 screens on one computer, Dell OPTIPLEX GX620, (windows 7 / 64-bit). One horizontaly one vertical. I have 2 issues: First issue: Windows7 does not recognise screen 2 on control panel. Screen 2 duplicates Screen 1. I have a poweredsplitter to divide up the audio/video for additional screens. Screen 1 and Screen 2 are connected to outputs. A thirdoutput is connected to a tv/monitor. All screens have the same picture at the same time. My guess is I would need toconnect Screen 2 by another means so the Windows7 will recognize it?? Maybe use DVI or HDMI don't know, asking? Second issue, I can mechanically rotate the screen from horizontal to vertical, but the text/picture stays horizontal.My View Sonic changes to match the screen position like a cell phone. The HP does not! NOTE:The View Sonic is 15 yrs. old. Need to know how to match text/picture to screen position. DVO33308

Use Command+Shift+3 for a full screen shot, or use Command+Shift+4 and drag and select the area you want.
That image will be saved to your desktop!

I don't know why I am having so much trouble taking pictures. I can get it on the right camera...front or back....imcan take a picture of what imsee, delete it, send tomfacebook, etc. What I CANNOT do is focus on an object to photograph. I tap on what I want and get a little blue square. Thatmismwheremi am stuck. Imhavemthaaped, pinched, etc but I,m not getting it. I have an iPad book but it gives no details about the part I am stuck on. I know it is something obvious but I am not seeing it.

I think the iPad goes to,sleep which is why it turns black...I will change the settings so it stays awake longer!
I am using iOS5 which explains no slider. I guess I don't know,hot to pinch because when I think I am doing it nothing happens. Mint pinch what you do on any sceen to make the font bigger....zoom? I have no trouble with that anyplace else, but it is not happening here,m I tap and get the blue box on the object I am focusing on. Pinching before or after changes nothing that I can tell.
I am on the back camera....or at least I think so. Thanks for all your help....there is something I am not doing and itmismdriving me crazy. I think it's the pinching that is the problem, but I don't know what to do to,change it.
Also is there any way a person can stay logged into this discussion for more than 30 seconds? When I go back to try something you suggest, i am logged out almost instantly.

I am needing to send pictures of my Safari screen to my employer to resolve some other issues. How do I take pictures of the various screens that I need to bring up and then send the pictures off to my employer?

You would use the OS X built-in screen shot facility.
To do it with Safari, press command-shift-4 and then hit space bar and the cursor will change to a camera icon. Hover over Safari (the window will turn blue) and then click. You'll get a screen shot on your desktop. You can drag the screen shot to Mail and email it.
Aperture need not be involved in this at all.

Here are some useful keyboard shorcuts:
Screen Capture to disk:
   command Shift Key 3                   Screen to jpeg file on desktop
command Shift Key 4 + Drag:           Selection to jpeg file on desktop
command Shift Key 4 + Spacebar:       Window (click camera) to jpeg file
There is also SnapNDrag Pro, it was free yesterday on App Store.

Open the Camera app. There is a button at the bottom that looks like a camera. Tap that to take a picture. There is also a shortcut to the camera on the lock screen:
