How to take self-portrait with 5thG iPod Touch

The manual explained how to use the front-facing camera for FaceTime, but all I want to do is try to take a passable self-portrait to e-mail to some of my far-away family. How can I use the front camera for taking a picture? Thanks for any help.

The same way you use the rear camera except sect use of the from camera instead. the switching icon/button is on the upper right.

Because the screen aspect ratio is different that the camera aspect ratio. The only way it could fill the screen vertically would be either to stretch/distort the photos vertically or to cut off some of the photos on the sides.

Hello everyone, I'm trying to make my ipod touch as a dash cam for my daily drive. I wanted to my ipod to atleast record for 40 minutes while driving, but it keeps stopping using the regular camera app. Even with dash cam apps, they still give me problems, or they are set to certain recording time. Select your bookmark. Tap the blue arrow at the right of your bookmark. Under the description, tap "Share". When your friend opens the email on his iPod Touch and taps the link you sent, the YouTube app will start and play the video.
If you are making a new bookmark, the "Share" button is right next to the "Bookmark" button.

Hi all, I'm about to buy a 8gig touch tommorow and would like to know before I buy it, How can I share my HSDPA Three broadband connection with the Touch? the Connection is a usb dongle on the desktop, I've got a usb wifi dongle plugged into the desktop aswell, i havent a clue how to set it up tho, why I want to know is, so I can listern to shoutcast radio stations on the touch upstairs in bed without having to stay downstairs near the dessktop. is it possible to do and if it is how ? cheers

Your touch can connect to your wireless network via WiFi. How your network is setup makes all of the difference on whether or not you can connect, however.
If your desktop is connected via Ethernet (even with a USB adaptor) you may be able to use the desktop as an ad hoc wireless network. This is possible on Macs ad Vista machines, not sure on XP.
Your best bet is a wireless router, however. They generally have more range than an ad hoc setup and have additional benefits such as a firewall and network security. You would connect your broadband connection to your wireless router and then all of your devices, wired or wireless would connect through your router.

I found this by accident.press the power button and home button at once but dont hold and the screen will flash.Now go look in your pictures or photos. It will be in there.=)

How do I get this beta IOS 7.0.2 JUNK TO WORK with my iPod touch 5?? I was prefectly happy with my iPod until I got the notice to upgrade itunes to 11.1 and would you like to upgrade your iPod from IOS 6 to IOS 7. And like an idiot I took the little green pill and pushed the button. Now I can't open iTunes, some apps; like the Lindsey Sterling app, Safari and Disney don't work either (not that I care about the Disney one, but, it's part of the base setup, you'd think "IT" would work!) almost anything with video links will not open, iCloud can't find me. All I get is that annoying white screen. I'M NOT HAPPY! I could have bought a Windows machine for a lot less money and have the same problems!?! (I'll bet Mr. Jobs is spinning like a top right now!) And I have goggled-- found a few fixes: re-install, restore, etc. found one that stated to get iTunes back to go into the iPods setting by double ckicking the home button go to iTunes app and sign out, then sign in again-- those options didn't work. If you restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes (Not via Settings>General>Reset>Erase all Content and Setting) and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

You should really read the manual.

Restore. When given the choice, choose to use backup.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.
