Do you know how to telnet system through saprouter ?
(ex. local pc > saprouter > telnet some system)

You can use SAPRouter for make a telnet connection between your client and remote host, but ssh is not supported by SAP (OSS note #37001).
Example:
In the saprouttab that use your SAPRouter add the entry:
P <IP adress PC> <IP remote host> 23
You can use SNC Encryption.

I would like to set up a RFC-connection from SAP Solution Manager to other SAP system.
The network connection between the servers is VPN.
How can I set up this RFC-connection, if my connection between two SAP systems looks as follows,
(I use the following SAP routers)?
my server --> customer
my server --> internal SAP Router server xy (10.101....) --> SAP Router customer 2 (10.1....) --> SAP System customer (134....)
Back-way
SAP Systeme customer --> SAP Router customer (134.1....) --> internal SAP router (212.6....) --> my server
How can I set up this RFC-connection, if my connection between two SAP systems looks as follows,
(I use the following SAP routers)?

Quality Server not connect through SAP Routing String

When remotely access client SAP through SAP routing string in Quality Server it shows error message as
"timeout occured

You might want to check following things:
Can you do a ping to the IP address you specified?
Is the data correct (ip, host, system number,...)?
Is the gateway with system number 00 running on the server?
Did you install the SAP RFC SDK dll's?

Can you explain more? Do you mean you need a sap support to log on to your BPC web and investigate your BPC issues? If so, you can open HTTP connect connection by following note 592085.

DBACOCKPIT Connection for SAP systems with SAP Router

Hello!
We are trying to integrate all the remote SAP systems and their databases (primarily Oracle) into DBACOCKPIT of SAP Solution Manager 7.1.
Our SAP Solution Manager is running on Windows with Oracle 11.2.0.2
The most SAP systems (Unix and Windows) can only be reached from SAP Solution Manger over the SAP Router connection.
It means no direct ping from Solution Manager server to the Server of managed system will work.
Question
Is it possible to integrate such SAP systems (with SAP Router) into DBACOCKPIT of Solution Manager?
According to sap note 1265134 only the DBCON-connection will be required.
By doing so (tcode SOLMAN_SETUP), we get TNS errors.
Do we miss some additional steps (adapting tnsnames.ora of SOLMAN with the entry of managed system), etc.?

Systems can be reached via SM59, then what's the problem ?
In fact, this 'is' the standard procedure. This is as normal as you could have Solution manager in same 'network' with rest of the remote systems.
Answer should be yes, you can manage several remote sap systems from sap solution manager dbacockpit.

what is th exact issue that are u facing.
The account must be the administartor of the machine where u are installing SAPROUTER.Make sure you are following the correct steps as follows:
Downloading necessary software components from SAP Service Marketplace
1. Login to the SAP Service Marketplace with the Service Marketplace at using
the USERID/PASSWORD which was assigned for your installation.
2. Change the alias to www.service.sap.com/tcs to downloaded the SAP
cryptographic software. Select the correct SAPcrptographic software
depending on your saprouter operating system as shown below.
3. You must have the sapcar.exe in order to extract the SAP cryptographic
software file.
4. With the command of u201Csapcar -xvf xxxxxxx.saru201D, /ntintel directory would be
created and the following files would be extracted.
(Example C:/saprouter/ntintel)
( when the Microsoft Windows NT Intel version is downloaded)
C:/saprouter/ntintel/sapcrypto.dll
C:/saprouter/ntintel/sapgenpse.exe
C:/saprouter/ticket

button to submit your request.
13. Once you click on the u201CRequest Certificateu201D a new screen will be displaying
your certificate issued by SAP CA (Certification Authority).
14. Using a notepad to copy the content (From u2013Beingu2026 to -END) and save it
as u201Csrcertu201D into /saprouter/ntintel/srcert.
Note :
- Please rename srcert.txt into srcert without any extension.
15. You then need to import this certificate into SAProuter using the following
command.
Please run on /saprouter/ntintel directory.
sapgenpse import_own_cert -c srcert -p local.pse
Please enter PIN : (same as point 9)
16. Execute the following command in the /saprouter/ntintel directory.
sapgenpse seclogin -p local.pse
Please enter PIN : (same as point 9)
This will create a file "cred_v2" in the same directory.
17. Please check whether the certificate has been imported correctly.
Execute this command in /saprouter/ntintel directory.
sapgenpse get_my_name -v -n Issuer
The result should be "CN=SAProuter CA, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE".
18. When the above results are not obtained , please delete local.pse and
cred_v2 and work again from steps 9. Please seek the assistance from your
local SAP helpdesk or create an OSS message via component XX-SER-NET-
OSS, if you are not able to obtain the above-mentioned result after you have
repeated the above steps.

Start the SAProuter with the following command.
Saprouter -r -S <port> -K
"p: <Your Distingiushed Name>"
-K tells the saprouter to start with loading the SNC library.
Example: saprouter -r -S 3299 u2013K "p:CN=JPL50020586, OU=0000036946,
OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE"

Monitoring/Chekcing the avalability of other system through SAP PI

Hi All,
Is there any mechanism /process, by which we can monitor the availabilitiy of other system through PI.
Other option would manually creating interface to send the probe message and wait for the response,then process the probe message.
Please share your idea/BOKs on this.

Few ideas:
1. SAP System: RFC communication channel is recommended and frequent dummy messages can be send to see if it is working.
Note: Monitoring by CCMS of Solution Manager is recommended.
2. Non-SAP System: Use File communication channel for FTP/Ping and monitor communication channel for any issue.

Help on how to delete request through sap BI api

Hi my friends ,
there ,i hava one question on how to delete the request using sap standard function?
In my current project ,we want to enhance the functionality to create one screen ,in this screen ,the user only select the request number which they want to delete ,and this action will trigger the process to delete all the request related to this number.
for example: ods1(request 1)-->ods2(request 2)---->cube3(request 3).
This 3 requests are in sequence.
I want to delete request3 ,so the system will delete the corresponding request2 and request1 automaticly. All the user need to do is select request3.
Now my team meet the bottleneck ,because we don't know the standard sap function ,this function can be use to delect request. We should not change the sap table because there are lots of tables related to the delete request action.
Is there anyone know how to invoke the function to delete request?what/s the name of this function ?Is there some material on this function?

To delete load request, just go to data target (ODS/CUBE), right click and click manage. Under Request tab, all the request and select the request and delete through delete icon.
If you want to delete it automatically, you can do it in process chain. There are lots of functionality to delete data request wise, weekly/monthly basis. Ask your BI developer guy to implement the process.
There is no need to touch the table to delete request.

y u need those tables in XI. u can have it provided u create a Zmara instead of mara and using ale config's u can populate the data in xi table.
if u are looking to extract those values for any reference then u can check on rfc api lookup instead of creating one in xi server.

As i already tld u have to pass same parameters which we will pass for mail sending. U can get plenty of sample codes for mail sending in SDN itself. Only difference is data of receivers parameter. Check below code.

Bex with SAP Router

Hi all!
I´m connected to a BW 7.0 system through SAP Router. I'm able to open Bex Designer, perform all necessary changes in the queries, however I am unable to execute the queries.
It shows me warnings like : "Creation of item TEXTELEMENT_25 Failed". I then press ok, input the variable values and then when I press Ok to execute the query, it shows me an Excel error and closes Excel.
Any hints??

The problem is a known issue, and the issue is solved with BI addon patch 900.
Please refer to note 1325527, which explains this.
I suggest you go one step further and apply the latest FEP, BI addon patch 1200, along with GUI 7.10 patc 17.

What's SAP Router String for?

I can not find proper module for me to post this message, so I post it here.
When we create a new item in the SAP logon screen , we need to specify the following parameters:
1) System description
2) Message server
3) SAP Router String (optional)
4) System ID
5) System Number
4) Group
My question is, what's SAP router string for? How to define a new SAP router string?
Because sometimes we don't need to input SAP router string, and we can still logon to the system successfully.
So, If I need to create a new SAP router string, where to define?

Hi
A route string describes the stations of a connection required between two hosts. A route string has the syntax
(/H/host/S/service/W/pass)*
It consists of any number of substrings in the form /H/host/S/service/W/pass .
A route string contains a substring for each SAProuter and for the target server.
Each substring contains the information required by SAProuter to set up a connection in the route: the host name, the port name, and the password, if one was given.
Syntax for substrings:
·        /H / indicates the host name‑{}‑
Note that the host name must be at least two characters long.
·        /S/ is used for specifying the service (port); it is an optional entry, the default value is 3299
·        /W/ indicates the password for the connection between the predecessor and successor on the route and is also optional (default is u201Cu201D, no password)
In earlier Releases (<4.0A), the password entry was made one substring later and with the letter /P/.
New: /H/saprouter/W/pass/H/targetserver
Old: /H/saprouter/H/targetserver/P/pass
(Here pass is the password which is checked by the SAProuter on host saprouter to set up or prohibit the connection from the source host to the target host.)
Due to downward compatibility, the old password entry form is still possible.
