How to tell how big ( MB or GB etc ) each webpage is

Hi - how can I find out how many MB's or GB's each page which I'm creating, is ? I'd like to keep an eye on the size with a view to quick loading but don't know how to.
Thanks,
SeaDream

Try dragging the index.html file that's in the folder you published to into the Safari window. That will open the top site in iWeb, i.e. the one that's on top of the left hand pane. If you want to view the second or lower site, open that site's folder within the folder you published to and drag the index.html file into it.
If you're going to have two or more individual commercial sites I suggest you put them in their own individual domain.sites2 file. I use iWebSites to manage multiple sites.. It lets me create multiple sites and multiple domain files.
If you have multiple sites in one domain file here's the workflow I used to split them into individual site files with iWebSites. Be sure to make a backup copy of your original Domain.sites files before starting the splitting process.
This lets me edit several sites and only republish the one I want.

  • Do not know how big or small items in image will be after being printed out

I have just started using photoshop to develop some designs that are meant to be printed on fabric. And then sewn into dresses
While I know how to change the size and scale of the image and canvas. I can not tell how big or small the objects or different elements in the pattern will be when printed out.
For example if I want to have a certain part of the pattern appear on the shoulder of a dress and another on the hem, how do I ensure that they are printed at the right size and in the right place.
I tried printing out one pattern on a meter of fabric and it turn out that it was too big and most of the design will be cut in the process of making the dress. I have no way to determine the dimensions.
Is there a way where I can place a dress outline over an image to check it out or size the individual items inside?
    Thank you

can place a dress outline over an image to check it out or size the individual items inside?
Do you have the cut in digital form (vector or pixels)?

  • Cropping my pictures - Want to know how big I can print them afterwards

I have always been a Kodak EasyShare user in the past. I decided that this year after my vacation, I would start using iPhoto for all of my photos. I am having a bit of a problem right now and I am hoping that somebody can help me. In EasyShare, when I cropped a picture, it would still tell me how big I could enlarge that picture to afterwards with no loss in quality. I would simply choose "4X6 photo" and as I cropped it in closer and closer, my options as far as enlarging would be reduced. Is there anyway that I can do this in iPhoto? I want to crop a lot of my pictures, but I don't want to take away any image quality later on if I choose to enlarge them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Matt

iPhoto does not have that feature - you have to look at the size of the photo (in the info window in the lower left of yoru iPhoto window) and the size you want to print
as a guideline if you want to print at 180 dpi (the point where Apple warns you that you may not like the quality) then you need the following minimum sizes (180 x the dimensions in inches)
    3x5 -- 540 x 900
    4X6 -- 720 x 1080
    5x7 -- 900 x 1260
    8x10 -- 1440 x 1800
    8.5x11 -- 1530 x 1980
For 300 dpi prints the numbers are much larger - for example
    8.5x11 -- 2550 x 3300
The math is very simple - dpi you want to print times the dimensions of the print

how do i find which Apple ID is associated with music in my iTunes? When I sync with my iPad and iPhone it tells me I have music, apps etc from more than five IDs. I am asked for PW for a number of now extinct accounts.

Go to Settings/icloud. The Apple ID at the top of the screen is the only one you need to be concerned about. That one MUST be a working ID, and you must know the password for it, or you will be unable to use the phone if it ever crashes, you want to update it, or you want to sell it.

  • How big effort it is to setup Change Request Management?

We are interested in implementing Change Request Management into our Solution manager 7.0.
What size of an effort in mandays it actually is and what kind of professional roles are required to set it up? Some background information for your responses:
implementation project is already there in Solman (SOLAR01/02) and is already live
satellite system connections within SMSY are already active
no central CTS/CTS+ is currently in use
when having CHARM it is assumed that also CTS+ should be used
So, I guess we are in a typical situation where implementation project has ended and live and support organisation and tools are being setup. There we need CHARM and CTS+.
I have read lots of SDN threads and blogs, but did not get a clear picture how big effort setting up CHARM is. Please note, I not looking for config guides now, just your experiences. Even if am not interested in config guides, could you at least describe the main steps that are necessary in setting up CHARM?

  • How big of a root partition should I have?

I am new to Archlinux and Linux in general. I recently installed my first Arch system but I have not yet installed a desktop environment for I am trying to learn the command line.  I was planning on using this weekend to set up a desktop environment but I cannot decide which one to use, so I will try them all (or at least Gnome and Xfce).  My question is how big of a root partition should I have to give me ample space to play around including having more than one desktop environment installed at once.  I currently have a 20 GB hard drive with my root partition set to 4 GB.
    Thank You

2.1 TB for certain & some 3 TB drives work if Partitioned to less than 2.1 TB but then it must be GUID instead of APM, most important is if it is SATA I 1.5Gb/sec compatible.

  • How big of a hard drive upgrade in 500GB TC?

I have a 500GB TC. If I want to swap the internal drive, how big of a drive can I put in? I ready conflicting reports. I would like to put a 2TB drive if I can.

I had a 1.5TB drive that I just installed in my 500gb TC a few days ago. The drive (a Western Digital green drive with 32mb cache) came in a WD enclosure, which I cracked open to get the drive out. It was probably formatted as FAT32 from the factory. After installing it in the TC I started up the Airport utility and clicked on my TC, then clicked the manual button, clicked the disks tab, and selected the TC drive (I also have a 1TB external USB drive attached to it) and selected "erase." It's all configured and ready to backup to via TM now. Note that the TC did retain all of my wireless configuration so there was no need to reset the security settings, etc.
In all it only took about 10 minutes - I heated up the rubber base with a hair dryer, carefully peeled it away from the TC, removed the 10 or so small screws that held the metal base on the TC and lifted it away. The fan is attached to it and you can just tip the base to the side. The hard drive lifts right out after you unplug the cables to it and peel off the thermal probe that sticks to the drive. I unscrewed the 4 metal posts that were on the 500gb drive that had been in the TC and attached them to my new drive. Then I just set the new drive in place, plugged the wires in, attached the thermal probe with the sticky tape that had mounted it to the original drive, dropped the metal base in place, screwed it back down, and slapped the rubber base back in place.

  • How big of a hard drive for 15" G4 667

    I have a 15" G4 667 and it has a 30gb... how big of a hard drive can i install in it... i would like to install a 160gb

Hi, letmeno. If your 667MHz Powerbook has a DVI video-out port, it will format a nominal 160GB drive to its actual capacity (about 149GB) and use it happily, without any other limitations.
If you have the 667MHz model with a VGA video-out port, only 127-128GB of a 160GB drive can be recognized in it, and the last 20GB of the drive's actual capacity will be unavailable. Partitioning the drive has no effect on this hardware limitation.
A 120GB drive (the next size down) has a formatted capacity in any machine of about 111GB, so a 160GB drive actually provides a significant increase even in a Powerbook that can't use the whole drive. If you have the VGA model, and the difference between 111GB and 128GB is worth the difference in price between a 120 and a 160GB drive to you, go ahead and install a 160. Otherwise, even a 120 would certainly be a huge improvement over a 30.
If you do buy a 160, any later Powerbook or other recent Mac model will be able to reformat it to its full capacity. Whenever you move on to a newer Mac, you can just mount the 160 in an external enclosure for continued use, put the 30 back into the Tibook, and sell it or give it away.

  • How big of an internal drive can I put in my 2007 iMac

My 2007 iMac hard drive has died & I'm looking for a new hard drive. What size/ how big can I go?
    Debra

Are you planning on taking apart your iMac and installing this drive, yourself?
This is not an easy DIY project to do if you are a newbie or novice to working on computers or Macs.
It is a lot easier to purchase and external FireWire 800 hard drive and format it for OS X, install OS X on it and boot from and use the external drive.
Best external drives are from OWC (macsales.com) Mercury Pro or Mini stack drives (with or without additonal optical drive) and external FW hard drives from LaCie.

I, personally, prefer Lacie drives. They are built like a rock and work very, very well. The drives have a good record for longevity.
    Good Luck!

  • How big of a hard drive can in a Powerbook G4 15inch

  • How big of a hard drive can I use?

    Hi Folks,
I would like to upgrade as the 160Gig drive I have is plum full.  How big can I go in a T41,, 500, 650, 1T?  Am I at the limit now?
    Thanks!

At one point, the largest hard drive was the 250GB hard drive, but I read recently that there was a Fujitsu 320GB available.  The biggest issue is that the T41 uses PATA 2.5" hard drives.  Look out for the SATA drives, because they wont work.
Can you get buy with using an external drive?  If so, there are 1TB drives that you can get nowadays for less than $100...

  • How big of a Hard Drive can I put in?

I was wondering how big of a HDD I can put in my iMac Early 2006 4,1?

    Logic Pro,
You don't say specifically which 24" iMac you have Aluminum or White. Here are instructions for the Aluminum:
    http://www.amfiteatar.org/content/view/155/78/lang,en/
If your iMac is still under warranty please remember doing this will probably void any warranty you have left.

  • How big of a hard drive can I stuff in my 13" white mac book?

    Hi,
I have a (june 2007) 13" 2.16 GhZ, 2 GB RAM Intel Core 2 Duo white macbook with a 120 GB hard drive. The hard drive is about 3/4 of the way full and I am starting to shop around for an upgrade. According to apple, my macbook is upgradable to 250 GB but I have found a WD 320 GB drive that is supposedly compatible here
    http://eshop.macsales.com/MyOWC/Upgrades.cfm?model=265&type=DataStorage&TI=2824&shoupgrds=ShowUpgrades
My question is, how big of a hard drive can I fit in my little macbook? I just want to be sure before I buy.
    Thanks!

I installed the 320 GB Western Digital drive in my BlackBook and it runs great. I checked it against my 80 GB drive with XBench and it has better response time.
While your in the buying mood you might want to consider a OWC Hard Drive Enclosures. I picked up one to install my old drive in so I could use it to help recover my system and to use for storage,
