How To Tell Lastest Version Available?

I was wondering how do I find what is the lastest version of the Safari Beta 3 ?
I know it is 3.0.1. I was wondering how to tell if it has progressed from (552.12.2). Is this information on the Apple site somewhere?
Thanks.

  • How to tell: Which version of camera raw do I have?

How to tell which version of camera raw I have? The only Google search I found answering this question refers to is 2 years old and seems to no longer apply. There is no File, Edit etc. menu on the new version of Camera Raw with (Photoshop/Bridge CS6). I do use Adobe Application Manager to do my updates telling me if a new version exists or not, nevertheless I would like to know.

The F key works as described for me in CS6-ACR7.4 with ACR as the window with focus.  The same function is available using the double-arrow-window icon at the right of the Preview checkbox near the top right of the preview area.
When in full-screen mode there is no title bar, but when I press the F key or click the double-arrow, again, ACR becomes smaller and I can see the title bar that includes the ACR version and camera model.  This is on Windows7-64-bit on a 1600x1050 monitor.  Perhaps you’re ACR’s title bar is off the top of the screen so you can’t see it, or maybe ACR optimizes some things if you have a smallish display—do you?
A plug-in is a program that interfaces with another program but is not independently runnable application, itself, bit is independently updatable, so in this instance, Photoshop doesn’t need to be downloaded and installed every time Adobe adds support for a few more cameras.

  • How to tell what version of Acrobat or Reader was last used to save a PDF

How can I tell what version of Acrobat or Reader was last used to save a PDF file? My users are using fillable forms from grants.gov. We want them to use Adobe Reader 8.1.3 to fill these forms, but some accidentally use the Pro version of Acrobat. They need this to make PDFs from Word & other apps, but Pro will corrupt the fillable forms.
When I open a saved form in Reader 8.1.3 and click File > Properties it says Acrobat 7.x even though I know it was saved with 8.1.3.
Is there a way to know which version number and type (Reader or Pro) last saved a PDF?

But it won't tell you what was used last. It just gives the original information.
It also won't differentiate between Pro and Standard and of course won't mention Reader at all.

  • How to tell what version of a document the workflow ran against?

I am using the OOB Approval workflow and in the workflow information I see a Document field, but that links latest version of the document. How can I tell what version of the document the workflow actually ran against?

    Hi,
Set a variable in the workflow to be equal to the version of the document.
Now you can use this variable to update a column in the document library with the version and date the workflow was ran. Next time the workflow runs, update this column with next run details.
OR write this variable to workflow history. Hope it helps.

  • How to tell which version boot camp?

It's such a simple question - *How can I tell which version of Boot Camp my machine is running right now?* - but the answer is oh so elusive...
Get Info on the partition doesn't tell me, About This Mac More Info neither (unless I don't know where to look and somebody can set me straight.) Running through searches at Apple and similar, including forums using (eventually) only the word "version" hasn't helped to figure out how either, nor has Google with a bit more than "version" obviously, else I'd be at it still. And the version on the Boot Camp Assistant.app in Utilities doesn't seem to jibe with anything, much.
    Answer?

    Thank you. That helps.
Do you know if that's truly the version of Boot Camp itself, or merely the version of the Boot Camp Control panel? Apple doesn't seem to address this anywhere that I can find, but over time I've noticed the different pieces, like the Boot Camp Drivers "bundle" and, in this instance, features like the Boot Camp Control Panel do indeed have different versions. As an example (and for my confusion) on my system the Bootcamp.exe file is version 3.0.0.1 and the product version is 3.0, but "About Boot Camp" from the icon says 3.1 and the Drivers Update 2.1... In the Properties for BootCamp.msi under Comments it says 3.0.0 (and also present is a revision number which doesn't fit its {}.) All this in Windows, of course. In OS X (10.6.4 Snow Leopard) the Boot Camp Assistant.app is version 3.0.1. So, to summarize, I seem to have versions 3.0 and 3.1 concurrently - I'm less worried about the Windows drivers. Those can be updated independently, and I don't use iSight in Windows anyway.

  • How to tell the version of WRVS4400N

How can I tell if I have a V1 or V2.  I bought what was advertized as a WRVS4400N V2, but the firmware shows as V1.  Given that the firmware was a V1 I only applied the V1.1.13 firmware update.  Can I use the V2 firmware upgrade on this model.   After installing the V1.1.13 firmware and changing the password I get asked to enter credentials every time I click something and many times it may ask 10 or 15 times before it displays.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

The firmware version and the hardware version generally have nothing to do with each other. The firmware version tells the version of the software running on the router. The hardware version tells the version of the hardware built into the router.
You must make sure that you only upgrade your router with firmware which is compatible with your router. The exact hardware version and model is printed on the label underneath the router. If it says WRVS4400N V2 there then you have a V2 router. If it shows shows no version number after the model name you have a V1 router.
The version number of the firmware is not related with the hardware version. The latest version for a V2 router could be 1.50 and the latest version for a V1 router could be 4.30. Still would not make a change that you should only use firmware for a V2 router on a V2 router etc.
Linksys occasionally ussd firmware version numbers "borrowing" from the hardware version, e.g. WRT54Gv7 firmware starts with v7. But this is not always the case. For the WRVS4400N it seems as if they do the same, though.
Anyway, check the label on the router then you know the hardware version...

  • How to tell the version of the ORacle 9iAS?

How to find the version information about the Oracle 9iAS (Not OC4J) from Enterprise Manager? In windows, we can always use help-->about to get the version number, how do I know the version of the application server is 9.0.2 or 9.0.3?
    thanks

AS rel 2 is 9.0.2, never 9.0.3. But AS suite has many many product components that has different version number strings depending on your installations and your set of installed Patch Sets (e.g. you could have Infrastructure 9.0.2.3.0 and Core RSFs 9.0.1.4.0a)
OC4J has been released as 9.0.3, next full AS is 9.0.4 (according to Metalink but who knows, maybe it'll be 10.0.1, 10.1.4 or whatever sounds marketingishly good)

  • How to tell what version of Mac OSX?

    Hello;
I am a person who  works for a university here in the US. Alot of the times, I have macs that dont boot, but I can see the data from the hard drive, via an external dock. Is there a way to tell what version of the OS is from a strictly file level? Without being booted into the OS?
    Thanks,
    Brian

If the computer's booted into an OS which doesn't support that(not all Mac OS X versions do), open the file /System/Library/CoreServices/SystemVersion.plist in any text editor.

  • IOS Apps in iTunes - how to tell latest version?

I'm trying to find out which of my iOS apps haven't been updated in, say, the last three years. There are 4 date columns available in the View Options:
Date Added, Date Modified, Purchase Date, and Release Date. As far as I can tell this is what each one denotes:
Date Added: the date I first purchased the app.
Date Modified: the date I downloaded the latest version
Purchase Date: the date I "purchased" the latest version
Release Date: the date the very first version was added to the App Store
So the second & third dates are identical for the vast majority of my apps, but a few have wildly oddball dates. For example, one has the 2009 date I first purchased the app under the Purchase Date column instead of the Date Added column. Also the 2014 date that is in the Date Added column is in the Date Modified column (even though it is one that I KNOW hasn't been updated since 2009).
So which is the correct column to use in determining how old is the app version I have installed? I'm thinking either the Date Modified or Purchase Date columns would work, but there are the few apps where the dates in those two columns DON'T match. Suggestions?

When I go to iTunes preferences under the Devices tab, there is a date and time for my iPhone's backup - next to the name for my iPhone.
Where are you looking for this?
Just wondering because I had some important pictures I took on the phone and want them saved just incase my phone starts acting up again.
Photos captured by your iPhone should be imported by your computer as with any other digital camera. Have you ever used a digital camera before? If so, did you leave all photos captured by your digital camera on the digital camera - you never imported the photos from the camera by your computer so the photos were stored and available on your computer for viewing or for sending via email or whatever? If you did, why would photos captured by your iPhone be treated any differently?
You should always import these photos by your computer - as with any other digital camera. It isn't a good idea to depend on your iPhone's backup alone for these photos.

  • How to tell what version of iTunes is installed?

    Hi,
I don't know anything about Windows, but my aunt has a Windows computer and she just bought an iPod nano. She is having some problems getting the nano to work properly. She did install the software that came with the Nano.
How do you determine what version of iTunes is installed on a Windows computer?
    Patrick

    Within iTunes==>Help==>About
The dialog box will scroll the version number.

  • How to tell which version of Mac OS X is installed?

I'm not sure this is the best category for this question but I wasn't sure which area would be the best.
Let's say I have a hard drive attached to my mac (via firewire or usb) and I want to ascertain what version of Mac OS X is installed on it. Is there some way I can look directly into the files to tell? I realize I could look at System Preferences-> Startup Disk. But let's say there is an early version of Mac OS X on the drive and it doesn't show up in the Preference Pane because it wont boot that particular machine.
I hope I haven't made this question more obtuse than it needs to be.
    Thanks.

If you open /System/Library/CoreServices, you'll find the Finder app. Get info on it and it will be close to the System version. There might be somewhere on the Web that cross-references the Finder version to the OS version.

  • How to tell which version of Expresscard on new MBP 17"

How do I find out which version of the ExpressCard slot is installed my MBP? I have a new 17" so I'd like to assume it's the newer version (2.0), but I don't see anything (or don't know where to look) in the System Profiler. No indication on either the Apple website nor in the WIki article on MBPs.
    Thanks

Right — the ExpressCard slot isn't a memory card reader (unless one inserts a card reader into it), and is not reported upon by System Profiler unless a device is present in it. I have an ExpressCard slot and nothing to put in it, so I can't get any information at all about it.
