How to test Https enabled in SR?

HI Gems,
I have soap sender scenario and published my service in SR as well. When i test my service from SR, i see both(Http and
Https) bindings have Http it self but in the bottom at target url i can see Http for Http and Https for Https.
Can you explain how to test my service in Https and what point i have to check in SR whether my service works for Https or not?
Please advice...
Thanks
Prabhakar

I've got the target address from the Service registry and executed in Soap UI and was success in testing.
Now i wonder, in other system Https port is not configured and system accepted with the same port as i tested in another.
I even checked in SMICM, No Https port is configured. Can any one help me out in this....
Thanks
Prabhakar

  • How to test HTTP file?

    Hi all,
I have a simple senario to test HTTP file.
I want HTTP file to be written into XI as a file.
Can anyone tell me the steps involved in this?
I have created a HTTP service as sender with HTTP as communication channel, sender message interface.
Is there anything I have to fill in receiver tab?
I have the XI as business system receiver with file communication channnel.
How about the sender message interface for HTTP, should it be ASYNC, ABSTRACT?
I created the receiver determination, interface determination, receiver agreement.

  • How to monitor Http Request and Response when load testing is going on

    Hi,
can any one please let me know how to monitor http request sent and response received for each virtual ID when a load test is going on ?
    Thanks,

You used to be able to see what the VUs "see" using the "VU Monitor" (it would only do a simple rendering of the HTML but it served it's purpose). However this was replaced (in v12 I think?) by the "VU Log". While this offers simlilar functionality, I have had problems getting to see the same level of detail. You may need to use the "debug" modes. Also check the "Content" tab within the VU Logs (it is the closest equivalent to the HTML you would see in the responses in the old VU Monitor).

  • How do I test HTTPS scenario

I am able to test HTTP scenarios using the application described below
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/66dadc6e-0a01-0010-9ea9-bb6d8ca48cc8
However, I want to be able to test the same scenario using secure HTTP (https) before I hand it over to my customer. The app described above doesn't support HTTPS. Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Many thanks in advance.
Edited by: Robert Warde on Mar 26, 2008 2:51 PM

    Hi Robert
To test using HTTPS you have to configure SSL Before that make sure that you have entered proper port number for https .it is 443(default) for https and 80(default) for http

  • How to Test AIR 1.5

Sorry if this seems slightly off center, but I blame Adobe, not myself. Trying to determine the true status and positioning of AIR amongst the various Flex forums and projects for an outsider is practically impossible. So, I will be brief. In September Mr. Chambers sent opened the flow by telling us that we could find FP10 integrated with Flex SDK in something you call 1.5 or Cosmo, or both. He was properly circumspect, so I didn't rush into it -- there was not even an ADL binary when I checked. Now it is November, the Trunk is at 4005, and ostensibly, everything we need to start trying to take advantage of FP support of 3D operations is out there. But where? Where do we get a version of AIR 1.5 that can be installed on a target desktop, so that we can try to run the ADT test cycle?
Call it Gumbo, call it Flex4, call it whatever, but can someone tell us how to start testing it for AIR application deployment?
    Thank you.

My user <br />    cares.<BR><BR>My user will get frequent updates to an ever-growing body of <br />    software called an application, and he will get them over those same slow <br />    bandwidth network links that the Flex user sees.  What's "good for the <br />    goose is good for the gander".  There is simply no reason not to <br />    architect the library of code that we use to cobble together the application <br />    and use the same intelligent caching mechanism in both environments.  I <br />    looked for a month for a white paper or discussion of how to 'modularize' an <br />    AIR app but all that you wanted to publish were white papers on how to <br />    'modularize' a Flex app.<BR><BR>I'm sure that you guys have a bunch of <br />    object diagrams and product architecture blueprints that you have memorized <br />    -- but that is not what we see 'outside the black box'.  What we see is <br />    a confusing distinction between the AIR efforts and the Flex efforts <br />    although the code base and efforts are substantially the same.  And if <br />    that is true from an internals point of view, put on your end-user hat and <br />    look at how we view a AIR/Flex app -- it is all one.<BR><BR>So, I develop <br />    the worlds greatest Juke Box and get it all going in Flex, then I move that <br />    into one Tab on one Screen in the AIR 'shell'.  Then some guys go off <br />    and mostly use AIR-unique code to add a Tab that allows Drag and Drop <br />    creation of Slide Shows accompanied by voice overs, and another set of my <br />    guys go off to add the 'Sudoku' module in just plain old Flex.  At some <br />    point in time in some ant task, we've got 10MB of code and X MBs of that is <br />    in one of our present [or future] swz files.  Where is the distinction <br />    that says I should just ask my users to download the whole shooting match, <br />    when what he really wants to do is just download whatever updated or new <br />    application modules [including any upgrades to your frameworks] when <br />    required.<BR><BR>So, it took some time, but today, my application is <br />    compiled with dynamic linking to the framework.swz, and when the user <br />    launches his AIR application on the desktop, the Flash Player, embedded in <br />    the AIR environment, is smart enough to find that it already has the <br />    necessary framework code and does not need to go back to the network to get <br />    it refreshed.  Actually, since I could never figure out how to use <br />    Module and ModuleManager, the method for solving the framework caching <br />    problem ended up just being an extension of what I developed for version <br />    management 'with continuous update' of my own swf files.  So, when the <br />    AIR shell starts up, it needs to test to see whether there is any updating <br />    to be done, or whether it already has locally available the 'latest and <br />    greatest' and that works the same for MyCute3DWizBang.swf or <br />    framework_3.1.0.2710.swz or framework_4.0.0.3988.swf.<BR><BR>If you take the <br />    point of view that a 'desktop application' doesn't need to do anything <br />    special to solve the problem of 'large file downloads', you end up thinking <br />    that there is no reason for an AIR application to take advantage of the <br />    frameworked cache when, in fact, almost all of that code is needed whether <br />    the execution thread starts in a 'WindowApplication' or just a plain old <br />    'Application'.  At least thats the cockamaymee point of view that I <br />    came to in the absence of any 'best practice' discussion of these key topics <br />    --  so far, it seems to be working pretty well, but as you can guess, <br />    testing across a network to a remote host that may or may not have the right <br />    version of AIR, or the right version of framework, or the right version of <br />    MyCute3DWizBang  is really more important than just testing against <br />    ADL. <BR><BR><BR>----- Original Message ----- From: "Matt Chotin" &lt;<A <br />    href="mailto:[email protected]" <br />    target=_blank>[email protected]</A>&gt;<BR>To: &lt;<A <br />    href="mailto:[email protected]" <br />    target=_blank>[email protected]</A>&gt;<BR>Sent: Monday, November <br />    03, 2008 8:39 PM<BR>Subject: Re: How to Test AIR 1.5<BR><BR><BR><br />    <BLOCKQUOTE class=gmail_quote <br />    style="PADDING-LEFT: 1ex; • HTTPS Enabling ??

    Hi all,
We have a scenario based on HTTPS
Sender XI System ======> Receiver XI System
                                HTTPS
using XI adapter at both the ends.
We need only transport level security (no need of message level).
What certificates needs to be installed on XI systems ??
How many certificates are required ??
Settings to be done in STRUST & VisualAdmin ??
Please reply only w.r.t Transport level security(HTTPS enabling) and not message-level.
    Thanks in Advance
    Chemmanz

I answer to your questions below:
What certificates needs to be installed on XI systems ?? - The public certificates from the receiver XI system
How many certificates are required ?? Minimum 2  - One the public key certificate and another is the CA/root certificate.
Settings to be done in STRUST & VisualAdmin ?? You have to create a connection to the external system in SM59 to the url and actiave SSL. Since you are using HTTP adapter, It will be only required to use STRUST. Only certificate needs to be installed in STRUST and activated, not required in Visual admin. Also do restart the ICM after installing the certificate before testing the connection in SM59 [Its normal to get a 405 error]

flash remoting is built-in in CF7, and unless you need to
    enable
integration of webs services, you do not need to change
    anything
to test if fr is enabled, just go to
    http://localhost/flashservices/gateway
    - if you see a blank page in
response you are good to go
you will obviously need MM/Adobe Flash to make flash movies
    that
get/post data with remoting... keep in mind, though, that
    flash
remoting components were included with Flash only up to ver 8
    (Flash CS3
does not have them at all, since it uses a different approach
altogether; though you can still make it work with components
    for
previous flash versions, it is a bit of a PIA...)
i am sure others will add a lot to this (i am just a casual
    flash
remoting coder/user - it is not my sharpest knife...)
a few websites that helped me get going were:

    Hello Pavan,
In the general area of the XCM you should check the HTTPS settings that you have configured. Also maybe check an HTTP trace to see what  is happeneing.

  • TS4036 How Can I re-enable my disabled from my Computer(the Ipad doesn't allow me any access to the Ipad)

How can I re-enable a disabled Ipad from my computer?

By not allowing enough time to reset, do you mean you have tried a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignoring the red slider?  If so, are you able to power down just using the power button?  Does it then restart on its own?
If you cannot get it to reboot, stay powered down, take it to an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians test it to see what is wrong...that is most likely a hardware issue.

  • How to configure HTTPS in the receiver HTTP adapter ?

    Hi Guys,
How to configure HTTPS in the HTTP receiver adapter and where i need to mention the QOS=BE in the receiver adpter.
any suggestions or help would be appreciated
    Thanks,
    Srini

You would need make sure that SSL is enabled on the ABAP stack . I rememver seeing a blog on SDN that shows how this is to be done.
Once you have SSL enabled in the ABAP stack ( you would also need to install the cryptographic libraries as a part of this exercise) , you would be able to use HTTPS and also provide the necessary digital certificates etc.
I have tried this with SOAP adapters etc but havent with the HTTP adapter but I dont see why this should be any different.
