How to test Scenario with AS2 adapter..!!!Very Very Urgent..!!

Hi All,
We have provided the partner details like AS2ID,URL,Port and certificates.
They ask me to do some sample testing whether files are reaching to partner system or not.
I done all the required steps in IR and ID...
1. Can anyone suggest me how to do the testing
2. Where to monitor for AS2 messges?
3. How to see the our output files whether we are sending the correct files or not?
4. Outbound -- How we will come to know whether file reached to partner or not?If we set sync Mdn.. where we can see the MDN..?
5. Inbound-- How we will come to know whether file has sent to us or not?
Someone pls explain step by step how to do the testing using AS2 adapters for both Outbound and Inbound.
Its Very Very urgent.

A) Like message monitoring in RWB we have a particular link to monitor the message through differnt seeburger adapter.
I dont remember the link right now.

A) u mean to check the output file data or strucutre if strucutre is not proper then u will get the error message and ur mapping fails.

I have no idea.
5. Inbound-- How we will come to know whether file has sent to us or not?
File is sent over wan so when it will be pickd up by XI.

Problem with CC Receiver with AS2 Adapter Seeburger

I try to test the AS2 Adapter with Receiver channel y one server and Sender channel in second server, but in the Receiver channel, I have the error :
"MP: Exception caught with cause com.sap.engine.services.jndi.persistent.exceptions.NameNotFoundException: Object not found in lookup of as2."
I find the error and I found the URL Error in AS2 adapter. Object not found in lookup of as2.. Its urgent..!! with the same problem, but I have the same configuration in the Party of the receiver and the Sender, the same AS2ID name, and try with the solution in the forum respect the Party name in the scenario of the Receiver, but don't work.
My scenario is send an IDOC from R/3 to a partner with the AS2 receiver channel.
Is my fisrt scenario with AS2 adapter. Somebody help me please with any example or with any idea about the solution to my problem?

well i have even found the solution for the same.
SFTP adapter as such does not have FCC functionality.
we have to use SAP Modules for performing FCC in SFTP adapter.
for complex conversions (more than 3 levels) we can use BIC tool and then deploy the module in our adapter.

Seeburger inbound/outbound mapping options with AS2 adapter

Hi Gurus,
This is the first time that i am handling Seeburger adapters(AS2 adapter).
We have the following issue.
We are using AS2 adapter from Seeburger for communicating with Partners (inbound/outbound).
For some scenarios, the trading partners either sends us a flat/csv file or expects a flat/csv file from PI.
And for these scenarios, we are using the AS2 adapter (for sender or receiver channel configuration) .
Now, the main issue is that we need to convert the flat file to PI-XML format when we receive a flat file from a trading partner or we need to convert from PI-XML format to flat file format when we are sending file to a trading partner.
Since the AS2 adapter does not have a File Content Conversion (Like we have in the File/FTP adapter) mechanism, we need to rely on MessageTransformBean (under AF Modules) to do the conversion for us. However, since this module cannot handle deep structures (nested structures) what other alternatives can we look out for ?
I know we can also go for BIC Mapper which is shipped from Seeburger for EDI to XML and XML to EDI conversions. However in this project, we just need XML to flat file/CSV or Flat File/CSV to XML conversions and hence we want to abstain from buying a license for BIC mapper.
Please let me know what other options can we try in this case.

No. Seeburger doesn't provide any such tool/option.
Please let me know what other options can we try in this case.
As per the detail you have provided, you don't have any standard option left. You have to either develop your own adapter module or you can pass the payload directly to mapping and then perform Java mapping on it. You have option of using Conversion Agent but there must be some license cost for it as well.

How to test SEEBURGER EbXML Sender adapter

Dear All,
We are starting to implement ebMS adapter from SEEBURGER(as it is known adapter type as EbXM_HTTP). We will be using this as Sender adapter.
I am now analyzing the options to perform some basic tests(like unit testing with out the message being sent by real interface partner) with this adapter. I mean, I am thinking something like SOAPUI client tool which is one of the excellent tool for testing webserives, is there any EbXML client tool available or perhaps can we use SOAP UI tool to test the ebXML. If this is possible with SOAPUI, where to configure CPA details of the message and what will be end point?

if you want to test it with another client of ERP
then you need to change the config from directory
or use transport targets that will change it for you when you export
and import from directory

Issue with AS2 Adapter monitoring

Hi All,
I am using Seeburger AS2 Adapter in our XI project we are able to post and retrieve
messages through AS2 communication,but we are facing the problem of monitoring the messages if any incoming messages failed in the AS2 adapter only due to some network failure or some other issue we are not able to track which message is failed and what payload it contains as in Adapter Monitoring or communication channel monitoring AS2 Adapter shows the only "Failed Session"
Do we have any application to monitor it in XI.

Hi Gaurav,
Have you tried Tcode SXMB_MONI . In this by giving some details about your scenario, it will give you the information about all the messages which are successful or not. Here you can see the payload af successful messages and error in failed message by clicking on the perticular message.

How to reply from a ESB scenario with FTP adapter

Hello all,
Is it possible to create a reply message when a FTP Put adapter is failing?
The background scenario is following:
We have an ESB routing service, that is called from a BPEL process, and invokes a FTP adapter (put). Hence, the adapter is a one-way adapter. However, when for some reason the files are not delivered to the ftp server, the adapter fails, and no fault or reply messages are created to send back to the BPEL process. As a consequence, the BPEL process continuous successfully while it should raise a failure.
So, how can we alter the scenario, so that failures in the ftp adapters are propagated to the BPEL process? For instance, by creating a reply message in the ESB service?
Any help is appreciated.

When the FTP adapter fails in ESB, is that specific instance in the ESB console then marked as faulted?
If so you might be able to look on the JMS error topic ( error hospital ) and report this back to BPEL?

Testing Outbound Scenario with File Adapter

Testing an Outbound Scenario, This uses File Adapter. I checked Payloads in the Transaction SXMB_MONI in R/3 as well as XI. There was no message for error. So I suppose to get the data downloaded to a directory. The output file is a text file. The file is not getting downloaded. Can any one please help me out to solve this issue? Please let me know if you need any more information.
Transport protocol: FTP.

Chcek whether your Receiver Adapter is activated properly.

If everything is correct, check the message in the Adapter Engine
http://<host>:5<sysnumber>00/MessagingSystem for the receiving message. You will find more information here why the message is failed to deliver to the endpoint.

How to test issue with accessing tables over a DB link?

Hey all,
Using 3.1.2 on XE, I have a little app. The database schema for this app only contains views to the actual tables, which happen to reside over a database link in a 10.1.0.5.0 DB.
I ran across an issue where a filter I made on a form refused to work (see [this ApEx thread| http://forums.oracle.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=3178959] ). I verified that the issue only happens when the view points to a table across a DB link by recreating the table in the local DB and pointing the view to it. When I do this, the filter works fine. When I change the view back to use the remote table, it fails. And it only fails in the filter -- every other report and every other tool accessing the remote table via the view works fine.
Anyone know how I can troubleshoot this? For kicks, I also tried using a 10.2.0.3.0 DB for the remote link, but with the same results.

AS2 Adapter EDI scenario - question

I am working on a EDI scenario, involving AS2 adapter.
Could anyone tell me any steps to be done on ABAP engine.

follow the below steps:
1) First deploye the Std seeburger mapping provided by see burger on XI
2) If you are using the AS2 adapter then you have to install the AS2 server on XI server.
3) Once you install the std seeburger on SAP XI server you will see the AS2,X400,OFTPS,VAN adapter on XI ID.
5) You need to call the std mapping in the adapter module which does the conversion from EDI to XML and XML to EDI.
steps in IR and ID.
In IR:
You need to use the Standard XSD provided by Seeburger for different mesages like EDFACT ORDERS D96A etc in IR and other steps are similar which we do for the normal scenarios.
In ID:
This is the scenario for AS2
Seeburger has provided std mapping which need to be deployed on Xi server and will be used in XI adapter module tab for EDI-XML and XML-EDi conversion.
Example of mapping:
See_E2X_INVOIC_UN_D96A
See_E2X_INVOIC_UN_D99A
See_E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96A
See_E2X_OSTRPT_EAN_D96A.
1) After deploying mapping program.
We need to give the AS2ID in the party identifier tab,AS2ID that is entered here will be used for identifying the sender and receiver of the document.
1)The value of the Agency field must be Seeburger.
2)The value of the Schema field must be AS2ID.
Every partner is assigned the WAN no which is provided by the WAN service provider. That WAn no we need to configure in the party identifier tab
Configuration in adapter:
Under the party identifiere tab
Agency will be seeburger
Scheme=AS2ID
Name = WAN network no of the partner who is sending the file
Sender AS2 adapter configuration:
Few changes in the module parameter tab.

Module configuration:
bic= destSourceMsg = MainDocument
bic= destTargetMsg = MainDocument

When the adapter is used in a receiver channel, it obtains a message from the Integration Engine and sends it to a business partner. In this case, the following steps are required:
1. Define the channel as a Receiver channel on the Parameters tab
2. The last step ensures the module sequence is complete:
Make sure the module ModuleProcessorExitBean does exist in the module sequence:
Module Name=localejbs/ModuleProcessorExitBean
Type=L
Module Key=Exit
with the following module parameter:
Module Key=Exit
Parameter Name=JNDIName
Parameter Value=deployedAdapters/SeeXIAS2/shareable/SeeXIAS2

flow of the data from EDi to SAp r/3 using seeburger:
1) Data will be coming thorugh WAN or mailbox.
2) If its coming through WAN then every WAN provider will give the partner which is sending the data a partner number for indentification.
3) In your AS2 channel you need to configure the party and for that party you need to give the WAN number which is proivded for that partner. So it will run that configuration whenever that partner send the data.
4) In the adapter you have to give the mapping program name which does the conversion of EDI-XML and XML-EDI.
5) Once you XML is generated then it will be used in MM
6) At the receiver if its IDOC adapter then IDOC adapter will post the IDOC to R3 system.

I have a requirement where we have to send an Idoc to different trading partners using van.
On the receiver side AS2 adapters will be used.There are many trading partners here.Can someone guide me through? ..
The entire scenario will be done in SAP PO 7.4
Breaking the entire scenario in the following parts---
1)IDoc on sender side--What will be partner profile type? Will it LS or any other (BP, GP or KU??)
2)AS2 configuration details---AS2 adapter is available in the dropdown of adapter list.What are the config details for AS2?
3)Trading partner mechanism-How this can be achieved?..what this essentially achieves ? any step by step guide available? Does it take care of sending the Idoc only to VAN or sending Idoc to different trading partners directly bypassing VAN?
4)Is using NWDS suggestible?--Is it convenient?
Any help/step by step blog will be of great help.

This purchase Order should go to the particular vendor as a sales order. Then we use partner type as LI -- Vendor.
Similarly when we sell some materials to our customers, we create the Sales order to our customer. Then we use Partner type as KU - Customer
Partner Type GP---Business Partner
Partner Type KU---Customer
Partner Type LI---Vendor
Partner Type LS---Logical system
Partner Type US--User
