How to Tether Alltel LG Tritan CDMA phone Mac OS X

This is a great little phone, and if you buy it through Walmart you get UNLIMITED internet.
Okay, there are no USB modem drivers for this phone, so you have to use bluetooth.
First pair your computer to the phone. Set the phone to "visible" (Icon button, the tool icon (looks like a gear) then the bluetooth icon, then the little list icon in the upper right corner, then "Visibility" ON)
Then quickly click on the Bluetooth icon on the uper right hand of the top strip on your Apple, and select "Set Up Bluetooth Device". Your Mac will search and locate the device, generating a series of numbers that you then input into the phone, and voila, you are paired!
Then open Network Preferences from your System Preferences, and select the bluetooth device. It will automatically select "generic" for a driver and recognize it as a mobile phone.
Select CDMA instead of GSM
In the Phone number type; #777; Next
In the User name type; (your ten digit phone number)@alltel.net (or uscc.net for US Cellular or verizon.net for Verizon)
In the Password type; (your ten digit phone number)
In the Phone number type; #777; Next
To get on the internet, go to the phone icon on the upper strip of you Mac and select "Connect Bluetooth DUN" and
BAM! You have Mobile Internet on your Mac!

Page 80 of the Neon manual describes how to set the phone up for a Bluetooth connection:

Unfortunately, the manual makes no mention of sending photos by Bluetooth. It only says +"you +
+can send photos to other people in a picture message"+ and +"you have the option to save your photos to the external memory"+
Files of an +"undefined format"+ are saved in the "Other Files" folder, from where you can choose the Option to Send Via Bluetooth, but it's not clear whether you can move photos into this folder for sending.
On the Mac, you have to check Bluetooth Sharing in the Sharing system preferences pane to enable Bluetooth File Transfers to the Mac.

You can't tether an iPad to a Blackberry phone. You can tether an iPad to an iPhone if you have the tethering plan from your provider.

Except TextNow is another Voip service. Just like Skype, Viber, etc. It may be a good Voip product but it doesn't use the mobile cellular network which is what the OP was interested in.

Duplicates of a song on iPhone 4s but not in iTunes. Unable to delete duplicate. Won't play and won't let you swipe to delete. Any ideas on how to do so without resetting the phone?

I have duplicates of a song on an album. One of the duplicates is grey with no album cover. When you attempt to swite and delete, the track will not delete and will not even play. I've contacted iTunes store and the person I received the support email from told me that it may not be downloaded. I emailed him back and explained that no there is no download for that song in my itunes store on my phone.
One I never received an answer back which shows you how well these people do their job.
Two: I really would prefer to have a solution to this problem without having to delete all of my music from my phone or resetting my phone. Because this duplicate isn't even showing up in my iTunes, it's only showing up on my phone.
When I attempt to find it in my itunes it plays fine. But when I try to find the file to delete it, it is no where to be found. I've tried everything that I could think of to get rid of it. And I don't want to leave the album/artist off my phone because I do enjoy their music... And I have the microsoft sync in my car.
Anyone got any ideas on how to do this without resetting the phone and/or taking my music off?

If you have all your music on the cmputer then i would connect up my phone uncheck the Sync Music option and apply.
This should take all the music off your phone .Then you can resync the music back on to it.
If this doesn't work maybe a restore to factory settings and start from scratch is the way to go

At the present time, the only way to clear that is to restore the phone as new. Perhaps a future iOS update will give us the option to clear that cache.

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

OS X Lion. 10.7. Your profile says your running 10.6.8, which is Snow Leopard. You need 10.7 to use iCloud with your Mac.

I would recommend just backing up your old phone & then restoring the new one from that backup if you are planning to sell/give away the old one. Do NOT restore that phone until you're sure everything is on your new one, though, just in case!
If you have 2 phones and want the same Notes on both, syncing via iCloud is probably better.
