How to trace an event

Hi,
I want to trace an event. I goto transaction swels and switch on and I create a material using MM01 and then I goto transaction swels and switch off. There after I execute transaction swel. But I get trace on and trace off only. Material creation event I am not getting.
What may be the problem. Please suggest.

If your requirement is to start a workflow for the creation of a material, please make an entry in the tcode SWECwith the following inputs,
Change doc. object = MATERIAL
Object Type = BUS1001006 or the BO that you are going to use, but make sure that the key fields of the change document object and the business object are same.
Event = Event of the BO.
check the 'On Create' radio button for Triggering event.

Check in SM37 or in the tables TBTCO or TBTCP with below selected fields.

How can we trace the event

Hello Expert,
We have a lot of process chain which was trigger by one event with different variant. However, since the last two days, the process chain did not run. it seems the event was not triggered.
How can we trace the event? I mean, if it is triggered or not within one day.
As I checked the process chain, some of the process chain was successfully triggered by the same event. it is really weird...

Hi......
Copy the event...........then go to SE16 >> RSEVENTHEAD............there in the event field give the event name.........then execute............from there you will get the event collector name................
If you don't get it here then search in table RSEVENTCHAIN.........
Copy the event and go to RSA1OLD(if you are in 7.0)............otherwise go to RSA1...............from there go to the Event collector........give the event collector name and check whether it registered or not............if registered when last it was registered.............if you are unable to find this event in these two chains............then go SM37................from there choose the event..........and in the Job field write BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER..............from there check when this job last triggered for this event.............

Dataloss in network... How to trace it..?

Though this question is related to SAP XI and SMICM trace, I feel this question can also be answered by people in WebAs General, so i am posting this in this forum.
In my current scenario where SAP XI system pushes data to another system(ABC system) using HTTPS connection. I have set up an RFC destination of Type G to connect to the external system.
When i do a Test connection, i see in SMICM log file, i found that connection established, request message written into ABC system.When response is being written i could find BINDUMP of content denied in the SMICM log file. What does that exactly mean..?
Also When i contacted the other party--ABC, they have told that they could not see any messages in their system.
XI shows successfully processed and ABC system did not receive the message... So where did the data go?? I have no clue :-(( Need your inputs in this regard. How to trace if the message has been successfully posted by XI. Below is the SMICM log file.

SMICM with trave level3 is the only way(i know) to trace whether the message has left XI server or not.

How to trace a purticular error ?

Diagnose the issue by running the following trace

Redo the import and reproduce the error. The trace file should be in the

Trace file will show something like the following:

I am getting the same ora 01775 error. But when I am tracing, I am not getting any result in my udump. Is there any other setting do I have to make to get the trace file?

Your question can not be answered.
Not only you don't include a version (this seems to be too difficult for most posters here), but you also include ambiguous sentences like 'When I am tracing'.
This results in the question 'did you issue the alter system command and was it successful?'
As far as I am aware the syntax is
alter system set events='<errornum> trace name errorstack level 3';
There are no other 'settings'
The only other solution is to set up an afterserver error trigger.
Works like a charm, 8i onwards.
You uncover way too many things you don't even want to know!

How to trace a USER in oracle?

I have a rquirement that I need to Trace a session created through the Application. The only data I have is that I know the application will connect to a Database schema and nothing else. How is it possilbe that I can create a trace file for it.
Also is it possilble, that i can trace complete user. how to find all the trace as it create number of process inturn number of trace, how do I find it and combine. I read the documentation but can't understand it clearly?

How to trace the save menu in cs3 using javascript?

i can able to add menu items using the following syntex

but i dont know how to trace the save menu, i want to do certain action while the user try to save their active document.
is it possible in script?

All of the scripts shown in fragmentary form in the Scripting Guide are included in the associated scripts archive on the InDesign Scripting home page.
The BeforePrint.jsx script shows how to cancel the display of the Print dialog box; I assume that the same techniques will work for the Save dialog box. No time to check right now.

I just done this for you as a part of community friendly support. It's allow to add "da" language.
1. Open your *-app.xml
2. Add lang="da"
3. Go to supportedLanguages in XML and add "da" also there so it's will be like "en fr de da".
Patched ADT was made from original latest 4.0.0.1619 and you must use http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html 4.0.0.1619 before apply this patch

Trace Event 1401 will create a trace file and dumps the information when ORA-01401 error occurs. This error occurs when "inserted value too large for column"
You will see the trace file getting populated only when you encounter ORA-01401 error.

How to trace phoneCallChanged-tests?

Im trying to extend the IciEventService -> phoneCallChanged-transaction to send additional data to the Webclient to identify the client.
Im using the wsnavigator-testpages to test the events which works so far, just my problem is I dont know how to trace them and how to check what and if it is transmitted.
If I do a test call via the simulator I can see the actions in CRM_ICI_TRACE, but not what is send manually even its same data.
Can anybody tell me how I can make it work? Im quite new to SAP and could need some help here.

I mean my fla stracture is there are 2 frames on main timeline, and I put mcA on frame 2.

If the object doesn't exist you cannot do anything relative to targeting it. Maybe you should move the timer to the main timeline where you can access it any time.

Recommended way for binding the list event handler to the list instance is through feature receivers.
You need to create a feature file like the below sample

i have a requirement like as follows:
The following triggers for Batch Jobs in the SCM system will be created.i.
Background Processing Event = u201CAPO Background Processing Eventu201D. After sending the Event, write a Log Report line u201CEvent u201CAPO Background Processing Eventu201D sentu201D.
Could you please suggest me how we create the Event or which transaction ?
Please give me a steps for creating events so that based on these events we use

Hi Puneet,
Goto transaction SM62 and in there to BckProcEvents tab. There you can create the events.
You just need to specify the name and Description of an event.

Hi all,
How to trace an Inbound IDoc number by seeing application document in R3.
sometimes 'Services from object' also we could'nt able to trace out the IDoc.
'Services from object' option sometimes appears in blank status with no IDoc.
Any possible tracing options?

You can findout the Idoc number in R/3 System by using the tr.code WE05 or WE02.

Thats what!!!
Goto SE16 - EBAN - Give PR number in the iput screen.
In the output screen you will have to do field selection from Menu - Settings - formatlist - choose fields.
There you choose Purchase Order.
So the output will display for you POs for the PR that you entered.
