i had the old i pod touch but recently my friend gave me their i pod touch, but their songs are still on it. I dont know how to erase the songs and i dont know how to put the songs from my itunes on to this i pod. please help me !

if you plug the friend's touch into your computer, itunes will have a message that says the ipod was synced to another computer and you want to sync it with yours. If you want to do it that way, then iTunes will erase all data that is not in your library and put your library on it. Search these forums for this; there are many posts about it that will explain it in great detail.

There is no direct way to transfer songs from an old iPod to an iPod touch.
If the songs on the old iPod are in your iTunes library, you can sync the same songs to the iPod touch.

How do I install 10.4.3 on Hard Drive that already has 10.4.11?

I have reason to believe my G4 with OS 10.4.11 has issues with the operating system. My System Pref page won't come up, iCal doesn't open and several other small things aren't working right. So, I want to re-install 10.4 on to the Hard Drive. When I attempt, I get a message that says "there is a newer OS version already installed" and it won't let me proceed. I booted from another Hard Disk and tried renaming the "SYSTEM" to something like "OLD_System" but it won't let me do that either. How can I remove the SYSTEM Folder so that I can re-install OS 10.4 on the same HD?

Repairing permissions is an important part of regular maintenance, and should always be carried out both before and after any software installation or update.

If you were having any serious problems with your Mac you might as well complete the exercise by repairing your hard disk as well. You cannot do this from the same start-up disk. Reboot from your install disk (holding down the C key). Once it opens, select your language, and then go to Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Select your hard disk as before and click Repair.
Once that is complete reboot again from your usual start-up disk.

Need a little more information. Never heard of a Photoshop cc file, maybe I'm missing something. When you save a file the first time there is a drop down menu allowing you to save the photo as a number of different file extensions, i.e.. PSD, tiff, jpeg. There is no photoshop cc. File uploaded to your folder on the cloud retain their extensions.

welcome to the discussion area, pbay !
1) launch iTunes with the option key pressed. choose to create a new library when prompted.
2) in preferences > advanced make sure iTunes is pointed to the external drive and that +keep iTunes media folder organized+ and +copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library+ are checked.
3) from the iTunes file menu, choose +add to library+ and start populating iTunes with the tunes you want.
when you have added all tunes to your new library, make sure they play fine. right-click on random files and +get info+. look at the summary tab and check if the path leads to the correct location (your external drive).
when satisfied, the original files can be deleted.
