How to transfer 1.7 GB video from iphone 3GS to pc

I have tried everything to import a 1.66 GB video from my iPhone to my PC running Windows XP. I have plenty of disk space.

The video plays on the iPhone, but the save to an external harddrive seems to time out. I tried the scanner and camera wizard but it just says error, try again, repeatedly. I copied a 30MB video, so I am thinking that the size is an issue and I don't know how to get around it. I tried opening the video in Quicktime but that failed too.
Thanks for responding!

Buenos entonces is an app for Spanish language lessons.  there are 30 lessons.  they exist on the iPhone 3Gs as videos nessted under the iPod icon.  But they do not (did not) sync to the iPhone 4s despite showing up in the iTunes library.  anyone with similar experience?

    Hi Friend,
If you placed the video using iTunes you can just sync your iPhone with iTunes again and the video will be in your device again.

how do I automatically stream my videos from iPhone to my macbook pro?

You may consider doing that, it largely depends on what you want the movie for once you have it on your Mac, sending it to YouTube is likely to cause it to lose much of its quality.

  • How to transfer the picture and video from ipad to pc

I want to transfer the picture and video from ipad to pc while we restoring the ipad?

To copy photos and videos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page -  on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard.
To copy photos and videos in the Photos app that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
If you are going to restore to your last backup then you may also want to copy any purchases from the iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases.

  • Getting movies (not just video) from iPhone 3GS to Mac

I did the following in order (question at end)
    captured video using iPhone 3GS
synced video from iPhone to iPhoto on Mac
    imported iPhoto video to iMovie
    created movie in iMovie
used "Share" feature in iMovie to share the movie in iTunes (so I could play on Apple TV)
    synced movie back to iPhone
deleted movie from Mac (where iTunes was accessing it)
Now, the movie content only resides on my iPhone...can I get it back from the iPhone onto my Mac (so I can eventually get it back into iTunes)?
    Thank you in advance...

I've found another thread dealing with the video part of this problem, which, for me, has solved the image problem as well. Here's the thread:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2489460
Thanks to Grognard for suggesting this:
Step one: turn off and on your iPhone.
Step Two : launch iTunes and iPhoto
Step three : connect the iPhone to the computer
    Then importation will be possible.
Clearly this still seems to be a glitch -- these kinds of work-arounds are a huge pain. Hope an update will solve the problem.

  • MMS video from Iphone 3GS to Iphone 3G

I know we can send pictures from Iphone 3GS to Iphone 3G, but can we send videos from 3GS to 3G. I wonder because the 3G doesn't have the video feature and therefore, I suspect it won't be able to play the video. Someone knows anything about this?
    Thanks in advance

the 3G doesn't have a video RECORDING feature..... why would that prevent the 3G from being able to play videos? playing videos and capturing/recording videos are two completely different things.
    you suspect wrong.

  • Unable to transfer "Notes" and photo album from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4

I recently upgraded from iPhone 3GS (old phone) to iPhone 4 (new phone) and used iTunes to backup all data from the old phone.
When setting up the new phone for the first time I selected "restore from current device" option and all the data transferred properly to the new phone.  But I get "No Signal" since the old and new phones are different carriers.  So I tried to use iCloud instead.  This time I do get proper signal with the new carrier but only  telephone "Contacts" and applications were transferred not any of the "Notes" or photo album.

In your iPhone 3GS, go to Settings>iCloud and turn ON notes and Photo Stream. Now go to Storage&Backup and hit "Back Up Now". Now your stuffs will be on iCloud. Just use iCloud on your iPhone 4 to get them onto your device

  • How to transfer purchased video from iPhone 3GS to computer?

    Hi all,
So I just bought an iPhone 3GS, my first iPhone, and I've also done my first purchase of TV shows off of the iTunes store. (Series 2 of Torchwood as well as the recently aired Children of Earth.) I did the initial purchase on the iTunes store from the phone itself, not realizing that I couldn't actually download the episodes onto the device since that'd take ages over the 3G network. But I did see that I could download the HD episodes to my computer and the SD ones onto the device.
Fine, I think, I'll take my iPhone home and pull the episodes already download off of it onto the computer...
... only I can't find any way to do that. I have seen that I can download episodes directly to the computer and sync those down to the iPhone, but this has caused duplication of episodes; for example, I wound up with two copies of episode #3 of series 2 because the one coming in off the computer didn't actually override the one on the phone.
To further confuse matters, episodes 1 and 2 have vanished off the phone and I can't figure out if this is because I've watched those on the computer...?
Anybody got any ideas? I'd like to be able to free up space on the phone by pulling the five episodes on it onto my computer, so I won't have to download those twice. Thanks in advance!
    Anna

Nope, Transfer Purchases didn't work for me at all.
I wound up emailing Apple Support directly for help and they couldn't give me an answer as to why that wasn't working either. But we did eventually reach a workaround of them unlocking some of the duplicate downloads for me so that I could do them again on my computer, while also deleting the files directly off the iPhone in manual mode. Not an ideal solution, but it did at least give me a way to get all the episodes onto my actual computer.
Thanks to y'all who've already answered.

  • Can't transfer a slo-mo video from iPhone 6 to PC

I love my iPhone 6, but it has some quirks. Here is one of them.  The slo-mo feature is amazing at 240 frames per second.  However, it is not good if I can only view the show motion video on the phone itself.  I have tried iCloud, Verizon Cloud, and Google Drive.  I also have an app that directly transfers files via wi-fi.  None of these work.  They either show the video at normal speed or stutter through the slow motion portion of the video - probably due to the player not being able to deal with the 240 fps.  I have done some web searching and have learned a little.  As I understand it, the video file somehow informs the player (I've tried Windows Media, Quick Time, and Irfan View among others) that it should play the slow motion area at the recorded rate of 240 frames per second, yielding a normal playback appearance.  Some of the solutions offered have been to upload it to you tube and then download it from there, load it into a video editor and set it to play everything at 30 frames per second, and other Rube Goldberg methods.  I just want to transfer it from my iPhone and have it play correctly without any editing.  Is there a player that can do this?  Or, is there an easy way to get standard video players to play at a fixed speed and not switch to the fast speed for slo-mo?
Is this the appropriate forum to ask this question?  My carrier is Verizon and I purchased the iPhone 6 through Verizon.  I will try posting this on the Apple forum.  I know that a lot of users are having this same problem.

    Weth,
Thanks for suggesting truslomo to me.  It appears to be just what I need.  I am able to use it to convert my slow motion video and then transfer it to my PC.  It plays smoothly.  However, I'm puzzled about how it actually works.  I was able to produce a slow motion video from on I recorded at normal speed.  It must use fill-in frames between the 30 fps of the original video.  The playback is a little jerky.  Also, truslomo has 2 options:  a turtle (120 fps>) or a snail (240 fps?).  Only the turtle is available when converting normal video.  I need to take more videos (or write to the author) to understand that it is really using all the 240 fps to produce the final video.
You also suggested uploading to You Tube.  That is not something I want to do.  You Tube is public and I like to do a lot of testing of different techniques.  Having to upload each video, then download it, and finally delete it from You Tube is too many steps for me.  Also, it's one more site I have to give my email address to.
Thanks again for suggesting truslomo.  It's too bad that Apple has put that feature into the phone.
