How to transfer a document from pages 5.5.1 to iPhoto 9.6?

Question

I just got a new macbook from Santa.  A macbook pro  os x 10.10.1
In my older version of pages, when I was finished with a document I could press print and send the document to iPhoto as a picture.
In the new version pages 5.5.1, how can I make a document  transfer to iPhoto 9.6?

Create a new Automator Print Plugin. I just put one together using two actions that splits Pages documents into images, and then places those images into iPhoto. In the latter, they are entered as date-stamped untitled events. You should click on that event heading and change it to the original document name. When you build this plug-in, you will see that there are some options in the individual actions.
If you need to edit the Automator Print Plugin, simply Launch Automator and choose File > Open Recent.
Usage: Pages v5.5.1: File > Print > PDF > PDF to iPhoto
Click the Launchpad icon in your Dock.In the center of the screen, you will see an Other categoryClick once, and then click once again on the Automator icon

Three sections (left to right)
Library
Actions
Workflow
Library > PDF > Render PDF Pages as Images
Drag and drop right to the large workflow window
Configure as needed
Library > Photos > Import Files into iPhoto
Drag and drop below previous action in workflow
Configure as needed (e.g. I used existing album, Photos)
Save (e.g. PDF to iPhoto)This is the name that will appear in the Print > PDF sub-menu
