How to transfer a Illustrator image to MS Word?

In Illustrator 9 I could "Select all" then "copy" to put the image on the clipboard in a form that would allow me to paste it into Microsoft Word. Is it possible to do this using Illustrator CC?

Should be OK to create your image in the respective pixel dimensions and then export at 72 ppi.

How to transfer album of images from desktop mac to iPad mini

I want to transfer an album of photos from my desktop mac to my iPad mini. The photos are in a certain order that I want.
1. In iPhoto on my desktop, I went to Preferences > Sharing -- and checked "Share my photos" and "Share Selected albums:".
2. I checked only one album, the album I want to transfer.
3. I plugged in my iPad mini using USB. The icon appears on the sidebar in iPhoto. Then it automatically syncs "477 images." I don't know why this happens. I only checked one album, as stated. Regardless, none of those photos in the album transfer.
Anyone have any suggestions? I search internet for help, but the tips always send me to iTunes. I don't see how to do anything with my photos in iTunes anymore.

You need to sync using iTunes on your Mac to specify which photo albums from iPhoto or the new Photos app that you want to sync to your iPad. Start iTunes on the Mac and connect your iPad. Then select your iPad at the top of the iTunes windows. You should be provided with a hint about where to make this selection.
Select the Photos tab and choose to sync selected albums. Select the album you want to sync. The click on Sync or Apply.
The selected album or albums will be copied to the iPad.

How to Transfer Full-Resolution Images without Risk of Compression

Hello!
This is more of a general image question, but I couldn't figure out where to post such a question. I apologize if that causes any hulabaloo.
In the past (but only once), I have used an online service that allowed me to zip a large amount of high-resolution images and upload them to their website in order to transfer them to another person (the other person would download the images at their convenience, within an allotted amount of time), while maintaining their full image quality. I can't remember the name of this service, though. I recall, that, in order to use it, I had to sign up for a free 14-day trial, so it is a paid service, although at the time, I only needed it once (or so I thought).
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Or can anyone recommend a service that does this?

The original question wanted to send files "while maintaining their full image quality". Zipping and then unzipping does not change the quality of the image. Creating a JPG changes the quality of an image, although in many cases the quality loss is undetectable by human eyes.

Hi everyone, I am clueless and desperate. I have read the manual. I am supposed to have a USB Data Cable CA 101. It is not available in the Nokia Store in Glorietta 3, Makati. They tell me it is also not available in Greenbelt 1, as they called that store. I would love to have a USB Data Cable, but no one can tell me where to get one.
So the staff at Glorietta 3 tell me that I should have a memory card, a card reader from CD-R King, and an adaptor. They say the adaptor (San Disk) came with the Nokia box, but when I checked the box when I got home, there was none. Where do I get this adaptor? Where do I get this memory card? I have already bought the DA Series Card Reader from CD-R King.
I am a technological idiot, so I would appreciate a simple where-to-get and how-to info. At the moment, I feel rather cheated. Any help would be appreciated.

How about if you just try to find any cable with a microUSB connector in one end, and regular USB connector (for the PC side) and try that (instead of hunting for a CA-101 specifically). It should work. It is not microUSB, but I've used a Sony DSC (Digital Still Camera) miniUSB cable with my phone. I should think miniUSB cables work in the same fashion when the phone has miniUSB.

How to embed an illustrator file into a word doc to make a template

I am trying to make a word template for my company's proposals that we send out to clients. I have created the image in illustrator as an 8.5x11 and saved it for 'web & mobile' use with the highest quality setting. I open the document in microsoft paint, copy everything, and then paste it into the header section of my word doc. I choose the option to bury behind text. My problem is that when I paste from paint into word, the document shrinks and is no longer 8.5x11. This requires me to stretch the image, but it pixelates it beyond what I can allow to be used. Is there an easier way to make a word doc template? I am using Illustrator cs4 and Microsoft 2007 (I know, its really really old).

If you want copy formatted text and image to MS Word, you need to give MS Word rtf markup, because Word can recognize rtf markup but not TLF markup.
So you need to create a custom clipboard to paste a rtf markup. It's a large feature for you, because you need a tlf-rtf converter in your custom clipboard.

when I used to download images on my iPad or iPhone, they went to camera roll and they were easy to transfer to iMac with Image Capture when connected with USB. Now Camera Roll is gone in iOS 8 and Image Capture does not see the images on Recently Added. How to transfer images to iMac now under iOS8? I am completely at a loss. How can this be so poorly instructed - I find no info on this and I am sure I am not the only one struggling with this.

I have almost 19,000 images in my iPhoto. I backed all of them up to a portable HD for a trip I took last week, so I could use them on my laptop. Of those, there are approximately 1,000 images that are new from the trip, that I saved onto the iPhoto on the portable HD.

I should have mentioned that my iMac is now updated to 10.8.5, and the laptop is a Macbook Pro using 10.6.8, They both have iPhoto '09. The externals are all formatted correctly for the Macs.

Put the image behind the layer (at the back of it or on a layer below). With it still selected, Copy.
Now Paste in Front (Ctrl+F). Depending on your Paste Remembers Layers setting, you may have to bring the newly pasted copy to the front, or to the upper layer.
Draw a shape over the image to define the portion of it you want to appear "in front."
With the shape and the image selected, clip the image using the shape. (Object > Clipping Mask > Make)

Just about every tool in illustrator has to do with vector objects. So File>Open will open a vector file with a few exceptions. Illustrator can open a ai, pdf, eps, and I think svg file. The exception is both pdf and eps can be created by another program and can have data that is not recognizable and therefore may not open.
I recommend that you take the time to read the manual, it provides a vast amount of information about how the tools work. Most book stores have books on illustrator.
