How to transfer a licence from old PC to new Mac?

Hi
I own photoshop elements & premier elements, each have 2 licence serial numbers however I bought the downloadable versions rather than from the shelf so when I access my adobe account in order to download onto the mac only windows versions are visible. How can I update so that the mac version is availiable to me?
Any help on this would be very useful.

if you follow all 7 steps, you can dl a trial via one of the links on this page: http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-11-direct-download-links-pse-premiere-pre.htm l
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a dl problem, you didn't follow all 7 steps. typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem.

The iCloud data will be on the new computer as soon as you download the iCloud control panel and sign into iCloud with your iCloud ID. What you see in iCloud is stored in iCloud, so it really doesn't matter what computer you are on. Once that computer is signed onto iCloud and the iCloud options are selected, you have full access to all of that information, and much of it is pushed back to your computer.
If you are referring to the data in an iCloud backup created by an iOS device, then that is not something that would be on a computer at all.

I'm trying to move data/restore my new ATT 5 from my old 3G. I had to use iTunes and I followed the directions in the link a couple posts above, but I never got the option at step 5 to "restore from a Backup". instead I got a confirmation page that xxx-xxx-xxxx was my phone number. i said yes.
how do i restore from the old 3G now? (one point the 3g was running ios 5.1.1, not sure if that matters).

Wow! I didn't know you could do that! While searching the internet, it seem like everyone is searching for disks to install. I thought that maybe I could move imovie to an external hard drive, then to the new mac.
Ok, now for my "stupid" questions. If I hook up my computers with a firewire, and I move imovie 6 over to the new computer, will I still have it on my old desktop? Am I sharing it with my new computer, or completely transferring. I'd like to have a copy on both computers if possible.

Because there is nothing in iTunes to deal with this, no need to be.
Use the Windows Easy File Transfer utility to move all your data.
Or simply copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

I will soon be getting a MacBook Pro 15" Intel Core i5 with Snow Leopard and want to transfer my Address Book from my old 2003 iMac flat 15" panel running 10.4.11. What is the best way to do that? Is there a particular file or folder that I can copy onto a flash drive to transfer to the new computer? Or can I use my Mobile Me Backup that is on my external drive (or on CD) to do it even though the Backup on the new computer would be a newer version from the older Backup that has the data? I would like to avoid having to use the Migration Assistant if I can, since it looks like that is designed to transfer whole categories of files (like all "files and folders", etc.), which I don't want to do. When I bought my new MacBook Pro, the sales person showed me how to do the V-card method that you suggested. I tried it at home, and it worked. I have been worrying for years about the best way to do this, so was very relieved to find such a simple method. David Pogue in the Tiger Missing Manual also mentioned another tip which I used: he said to select all the address entries you want to transfer (in my case it was all of them) and then just drag the whole lot out onto the desktop. A V-card icon appeared that said: "Name of Person plus 344 others". I then copied that to a flash drive and then onto the new computer desktop. I then dragged it into the Address Book window. As you said it was done in a matter of seconds. Thank you so much!

To get your old runs from your old Nano into your new Nano (1st or 2nd generation), you do the same as you would to reupload runs from your Nano that have not posted to Nike+ (happens all the time). No doubt there will soon be loads of people needing to transfer their runs to their new 2nd gen Nano.

If you do follow these instructions and transfer your old runs from your old Nano to your new Nano, please do not expect that your total runs on your new Nano will be the same as on your Nike+ site.
Also, your new Nano is NOT a clone of your old Nano so it will NOT match exactly to the data on your old Nano if you put your old runs on the new Nano (totals, etc won't match).
Unless you're a programmer or serious hacker, most users can only edit the XML files on the Nano--"Lastworkout" "preferences" and your run data files in "latest" & "synched." The Unix Executable Files are out of reach for me anyway.
Maybe someone will figure out how to do more, but I suspect our time would be better spent RUNNING!

I've recently gotten an iPad Air to replace my previous iPad 2. I have a lot of books and PDFs in iBooks on the old iPad, and want to transfer them to the new iPad.
A search of Apple Support informs me that anything I've purchased from iBooks can be downloaded at any time to any of my devices (works like Amazon's Kindle system, apparently), but nearly all the content I have in iBooks I've downloaded from other sources, so it won't be in my iBooks Store account.
I've also read several instructions on how to copy all my data from the old iPad to the new, but that seems to require restoring the new iPad to factory setup, which would delete everything I have on it now – including a bunch more books I've gotten since I started using the new iPad.
Is there a way to just copy the books and PDFs in iBooks from the old iPad to the new iPad, adding them to the books on the new iPad, so I don't lose anything?

Transfer all purchases (this should transfer all the pdfs and books) from the old iPad to iTunes using the USB cable. If you have any new purchases on your new iPad do the same with that. You can then use iTunes to sync any apps, books, pdfs, music etc to the new iPad.

I am sure someone has asked this question before but darned if I can find it anywhere...I have a new computer and want to transfer my music (which was loaded from CDs) from my old computer to my new one. I also want to keep my playlists that I spent time setting up. Quit iTunes and click over to your My Documents folder. Inside this folder, go to My Music. Inside My Music is your iTunes music folder. Now, copy this to a flash drive (if its big enough), an external hard drive, online using backup services like Mozy, or burned onto a CD-R or a DVD. You can even enable Disk Use on your iPod and move it there.
After you copy the iTunes library, disconnect whatever you used and take it to your new computer.

Does the old hard drive still work? You can buy an external hard drive case and transfer data to your new Macbook Pro and recover your itunes libary. As far as i'm aware, Apple have not created software or allow you to move music from ipod to Mac.
