How to transfer a PDF file in computer to ipod touch?

how can i transfer a pdf in my computer to ipod touch? the pdf could be added to itunes library but i dont know how to sync it from itunes to ipod touch., normal sync doesnt work. (there is no disk mode in ipod touch so couldn't use that either). does anyone know how to do this??? i would really appreciate the help.

i think you can email it to yourself as an attachment and read it.
otherwise you will need to download an app which will allow you do do this. the ereader Stanza is free, and if you download the computer version i'm pretty sure you can use it to transfer PDF files to your iPod.

How to transfer my PDF files from my laptop to my iPhones 5 s and how to make folder to store those files?

The iphone does not have a file system to create a folder in, instead apps themselves are responsible for storing their files,
Use an app like ibooks or acrobat reader.
You can then transfer the files via itunes or email them and then use the open in... option and select your chosen app.
They will then be stored within that app.

How to transfer a pdf file to my kindle paperwhite?

You first need one or more apps on your iPad that support the types of file that you want to copy over to it, the iPad doesn't have a file system link a 'normal' computer, everything has to be stored within an app.
For PDFs there are free apps such as Apple's iBooks app and also Adobe Reader - and paid-for apps such as GoodReader (which also supports read-only of word and excel documents). For documents the options include Apple's Pages app for Word documents, Numbers for Excel spreadsheets and Keynote for Powerpoint. And from third-parties apps such as Documents To Go ('premium' version) and QuickOffice Pro HD. As to how you then get the file to your chosen app will depend upon what the app supports - different apps will have different ways of copying their content to/from a computer e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via your wifi network, email, dropbox etc.
For iBooks, which supports PDFs, you should be able to add the PDFs to your iTunes library via File > Add To Library, and they should go into the Books section of your library. You can then sync them to iBooks by connecting your iPad to your computer and selecting it on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes (if you have iTunes on your computer then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via control-S), and on the right-hand side use the Books tab to select and sync them to the iBooks app.

  • How to transfer apps from an iPhone to an iPod touch

I have an iPhone for work that I sync to my work computer and also have an iPod touch that I sync to my home computer. Is it possible to transfer apps purchased on either device to the other device? For example, I have the angry birds game on my phone and want to put it on my iPod touch. Is this possible?

*Transfer apps from old iphone to new iphone:*
1.Open iTunes on the computer that is used to maintain the other iPhone.
Note: Make sure you are using the iTunes that belongs to the target iPhone. If you sync to her iPhone from your iTunes, you could potentially mess things up for her and yourself.
2.Authorize iTunes to use your account information (different from the account that is currently on the computer). This can be done on up to five separate computers. To do this, go to "Store > Authorize Computer."
3.Enter your iTunes account credentials and click "Authorize." If you have authorized too many computers, it will let you know and you will have to free one up by going to a copy of iTunes you've already authorized and choosing "Store > Deauthorize Computer."
4.Connect the iPhone that has the licensed applications or media you want to transfer on it to iTunes (aka "your" iPhone). Connect the cable from your iPhone to the computer, and it should show up in iTunes.
5.Right-click the iPhone icon in iTunes and choose "Transfer Purchases." Once the iPhone is connected, it might ask you to update, restore or back up. Do not allow it to do any of these things.
6.Your iPhone will say "Sync in Progress," and you'll see the files being copied in the iTunes window. This process could take a long time, depending on how many purchases you have on there.
7.Eject your iPhone from iTunes when the transfer is complete.
8.Connect the target iPhone to the computer. It should now appear in iTunes.
9.Go to the Applications tab for the iPhone. You should see the applications you previously transferred from the other iPhone in there. Choose the ones you want and when you are ready, click "Sync" at the bottom. The applications will transfer to this iPhone, and you're done.
IT's a method to transfer apps from an iPhone to an new iPhone, hope it can help you.

  • How to transfer the .pdf files to iphone 3G using Windows Xp without Wifi.

    Hi,
I am unable to transfer the files (.pdf) to iphone 3G from my windows xp laptop.
I tried all the possibilities given in Google. Basically I dont have Wifi connectivity nor any network. Could you please tell me how to sync the files without any network. Example; the way others do with Nokia phones.
Please assist. Posts can be email to me at sacrashinkar (at) gmail (dot) com..
    regards,

That's a lie. There's plenty of software out there that lets you transfer files without a network connection - iPhoneBrowser and iPhone Explorer are two examples of such.
Incidentally, networking through USB is possible, albeit not often mentioned. The simplest way is to set up tethering, which will do most of the work for you. If that's not possible, then you'll have to do it manually (which is a real pain), BUT there are a few free utilities out there that are supposed to make the process much simpler (one I recently came across is usbgate.org, which is allegedly a one-click process).

  • How to transfer music from home shared computer to ipod

The laptop my ipod is physically connected to has no music on it's hard drive.  I remotely access all of my files which are on a home shared media server.  I can view, play and edit my home shared music remotely with my laptop with no problem.  When trying to move those files from the home shared hard drive to the ipod it will not allow it.  In the menu that appears to the right when dragging files, the ipod is not shown in the list.  If I move home shared files physically to my laptop and then attempt to drag them to the right the ipod is shown in the list.  Is there any way to allow this type of transfer without moving the files to my laptop?

how to copy pdf files from computer to ipad

You can PDFs to the iPad, but first you need one or more apps on the iPad that supports PDFs - unlike a 'normal' computer the iPad doesn't have a file system, and everything on it has to be associated with an app.
Options include free apps such as Apple's iBooks app and also Adobe Reader - and paid-for apps such as GoodReader (which also supports read-only of other documents types).
For iBooks you can first add the PDFs to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library, and you can then sync them by selecting the iPad on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (on iTunes 11 you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S on a Mac, control-S on a PC) and using the Books tab on the right-hand side to select and sync them.
For Adobe Reader adnd GoodReader you can use the file sharing on the Apps tab on the right-hand side to copy them over : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4094

A simpler way download dropbox or box or upload the pdfs on Google Drive and then download them on  your phone, it will be a lot easier

  • How do I upload pdf files to my iPhone?

How do I upload pdf files to my iPhone?  I want to be able to read pdf files using the kindle app but, as my internet works at a snails pace, they are too big to transfer to the kindle cloud and back again without going insane.  Is there a way I can do this directly from my macbook?

The best way I can think of is to use Apple's iBooks app.  You can get that app for free from the App Store.  (Note the iBooks app is being revised today).
Once you have it, you can copy your PDF files to the "Books" section of your iTunes library on your computer.  Then once you sync your iPhone to your computer, you can open iBooks on your iPhone, click the "Books" button in the top center (assuming it will not move with the iBooks update), and click "PDFs", and you'll see your file(s).
I do not recommend downloading a PDF viewer app.  Apple is a master at viewing PDFs; no supplement is required.
