How to transfer an application and Database from Pre-Prod to Prod

Could any please help by giving the method to transfer the Application and Dabase from Pre-Production to Production.

Depends on what version you are on. If it is 11.1.2 then you can use LCM to transfer the atrifacts including data. in 11.1.1.X you can also use LCM but you would have to export and then import the data itself.
You could also use the migration wizard in EAS to migrate the artifacts and then export and import data.
Or you could go the file system route. First create the app and DB from EAS, Stop both the source and target apps and then do a file system copy to copy the artifacts.
I've not tried it, but if this is a BSO cube, you could possibly back it up through the backup utilities in EAS the restore it to the new server

You can't. It still thinks that your iPhone is synced with another iTunes library (the one that you had before you reformatted the hard drive.

How do you transfer both songs AND playlists from an iPOD to a new laptop? I have read a few posts about this, but none seem to talk about transfering the PLAYLISTS. I understand there is a manual method since the iPOD is essentially viewed as a hard drive by a windows based machine/PC and there are third party applications to provide a more automated process.
So can playlists be transferred? If so how? Or will i need to recreate all my playlists? It is not the end of world, rather just tedious. Are there any "gotchas"?

I also have a similar problem. Lap top crashed - new lap top have VISTA (I know...).
Using my ipod as a external hard drive - I have loaded all the tunes onto a new folder on the desk top. I then loaded all the files into the itunes library and have upload them on the new itunes on the new lap top - all good. They are now on the new itunes library and my ipod
However NONE of my purchased items have been transfered. Issue is that the files on the Desktop folder will not show which are purchesed and which are imported from CD - how do I find and then transfer my purchased songs...

I recently cracked the screen on my 3G iPhone and a have fortunately managed to convince the insurance company to pay for a new one.
I'd like to be able to transfer all my contacts, apps aand setting to the new phone. Only problem is I have to give back the old phone to get the new one.

The iPhone is designed to be synced with the supported applications on your computer for contact info, calendar events, and bookmarks. To transfer iTunes content and photos from your computer to your iPhone requires syncing with iTunes. Photos captured by your iPhone should be imported by your computer as with any other camera. The imported photos can be transferred back to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process.

I have just done this and believe me it was a bit of a marathon! Microsoft tell you that you need to have both Outlook Express and Outlook 2010 running on the same machine. If, like me, your Outlook 2010 in running on a Windows 7 platform there is a problem.
Until now I have been using Outlook Express on a Desktop running XP Pro. It has Outlook 2007 but it won’t run owing to a corrupted file. I set up my email account on an old XP laptop which has Outlook 2007. This is how I transferred emails between 2 machines
running Outlook Express:
After setting up the account (on the old laptop) I created sub-folders exactly the same as my existing account. Having got some emails in the inbox I made sure that each new sub-folder contained at least one random email simply by drag and drop. It seems to
validate the folders. I then copied the folders from the maintenance directory on the desktop (you find this under Tools – Options – Maintenance) and pasted them into the equivalent folder on the this old laptop so they overwrote those present. I transferred
the contacts simply using Export – Address Book using a csv file. I then set up the email account in Outlook 2007 on the old laptop and ran an import from Outlook Express which was fine as per Microsoft’s instructions. On that machine I then exported to a
backup pst file which I transferred to my new Windows 7 machine and imported successfully into Outlook 2010. Perhaps there are easier ways but at least it worked!

Ok, all fixed now, thanks very much Matt.
For general information the trick is that in Windows 8.1 Thunderbird stores Profiles in 2 places - C:/Users/User's Name/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird and also in C:/Users/User's Name/AppData/Local/Thunderbird. The one you need to copy the files to, as described by Matt, is the Profile in the Roaming directory.
And even if you have inadvertently configured a new account (as I had done) the above instructions work. Just be sure to click overwrite existing files at the end of the file transfer process.
