Transfer Music from iPhone, iPod, or iPad to iTunes on a Mac for Free
This process will copy all music from the device to a computer or Windows PC:
1.Turn off automatic syncing in iTunes, do this through iTunes Preferences > Devices > check “Prevent iOS hardware from syncing automatically”, then quit iTunes
2.Download Coolmuster iPhone iPad iPod to Mac transfer and install it
3.Connect the iPhone, iPad, or iPod to the Mac by USB
4.Launch iExplorer and click the arrow next to the iOS devices name, then click the arrow next to “Media” and then again next to “iTunes_Control”
5.Drag the entire “Music” folder to a location on the desktop, this is all of your music and it may take a while to transfer
6.Quit iExplorer when finished
When finished all music will have been successfully copied from the iOS device to the Mac or PC, all while maintaining the music stored on the iPod/iPhone as well.

How to transfer contacts and massages from iphone to computer?

    Hi, Shahmeer23c
iCloud is useful for a lot of things and backing up your iPhone's data is one of them. Included in the data and files that you can safely keep using iCloud are your contacts. The following instructions detail how to transfer contacts from iPhone to computer.
Step 1. On your iPhone, tap on Settings. On the "Settings" menu, select "iCloud". You will then be taken to the iCloud Settings.
Step 2. Enable the "Contacts" setting and should you be informed that you'll have to merge your contacts to iCloud, tap "Merge".
Step 3. Now on your computer, go to iCloud.com and login with your iCloud credentials.
Step 4. Once you're logged in, click on the Contacts icon to access your address book and all iCloud features for the contacts you've uploaded.
Step 5. In the address book, click on the cog icon at the lower-left portion, click "Select All", and "Export vCard" afterwards.
Step 6. iCloud will then give you a vCard that you can store on your computer. It contains all the contacts you've uploaded to iCloud using your iPhone.

You don't. File transfer, by Bluetooth, has never been supported on any iPhone. To import pics/videos in your camera roll, read here:

  • How do I transfer contacts and photos from my IPhone 5 (version 7.1.2) to my computer (Windows 8.1)?

How do I transfer, move, back up, upload or whatever the correct terminology is, my contacts and photos from my IPhone 5 to my Windows computer?

You can transfer photos in several different ways:
via USB cord: iOS: Import personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
via Photo Stream: iCloud: My Photo Stream FAQ
via a number of 3rd party apps such as http://www.photosync-app.com
    You can transfer contacts via:
    iCloud: https://www.apple.com/icloud/features/
iTunes sync: iTunes 11 for Windows: Sync contacts, calendars, and other info with iPod, iPhone, or iPad
and there may also be 3rd party apps.
Note that you can also backup to iCloud or to a computer, but that is only designed to be used for a restore back to the phone and you won't see usable photos or contacts on the computer.

  • How to transfer contacts to 5s from samsung s4

Purcahsed new 5s. Would like to transfer contacts and messages from samsung S4

You need to get the contacts to something compatible with the iPhone. Were you using anything on the computer to handle contacts? Are they saved in Google Mail? If so, you can sync them from that to the iPhone. There is information in the Google help about doing that.

  • How to transfer contacts and pictures from iPhone to iPad

I am trying to transfer my contacts and pictures from my iphone 5s to a new ipad air, tried doing it in the icloud by that doesnot work for some reason

If the music was purchased from iTunes then you should be able to copy them over to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases if you have iTunes 11 on your computer). If the music came from other sources and you don't have a copy of them anywhere else, then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which might be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
For photos taken with the phone then on a PC you can use the windows camera wizard, and on a Mac you can use Image Capture, iPhoto or Aperture : copying photos. To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to a device, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.

  • HOW TO TRANSFER CONTACTS AND MESSAGES FROM 3G TO 3GS

I BOUGHT NEW 3GS 2012 MODEL 8GB , AND WANT TO TRANSFER MY CONTACTS AND MESSAGES FROM MY OLD 3G 8GB TO NEW 3GS.
OLD 3G IS NOT SUPPORTING TO I CLOUD. HOW CAN I GET ALL MY CONTACTS AND MESSAGES IN NEW 3GS?
    THANKS IN ADVANCE

Can you try first backing up your 3G with iTunes (I guess synching also does this) and then restoring your new 3GS using this backup.
Note that this might delete all other data you have in your new 3GS (if any) and replace it with the data you have in 3G. This might also lower the version of your OS in your 3GS, however you should be easily update the OS if restore becomes successful.

  • HT201269 how to transfer contacts to iphone from old device

My old device has no service available and my new apple Iphone 5 s is up and running.  How can I get all my contacts from the old phone

It depends on what your old phone is. Did it have ability to send contacts to a computer or to sync them with something like Google? If all else fails you should be able to take both phones to your cellular provider and have them transfer the contacts to the iPhone sim. The following has instructions on how to import them into the phone once they have been transferred to the sim. iPhone: Understanding SIM cards

  • How to transfer messages and photos from iPhone 4 to iPhone 5?

Bought an iPhone 5. Never had good explanation of moving messages and photos from old iPhone 4. How can this be done?

Hi, there are 2 useful methods you can try:
Solution 1. Restore your iPhone 5 with the backup file of your iPhone 4. The brief simple steps are:
            1.Connect your iPhone 4 with your computer via a USB cable and launch iTunes;
            2. Click on your iPhone in iTunes. In Summary window, choose 'This computer' and click Back Up Now in the backup area to backup your iPhone 4.
            3. Reject your iPhone 4.
            4. Connect your iPhone 5 to your computer through the USB cable. Click it in iTunes.
            5. Click 'Restore iPhone'. Follow the prompts and do what it tells you to do.
            6. When the prompt ask you to set your iPhone, choose the backup you've made in step 2 to restore your iPhone 5.
Note: Messages will surely be restored to your iPhone 5. As for photos, only these one you've captured with your iPhone (saved in Camera Roll) will be restored to your iPhone 5.
Solution 2. Connect both iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 to your computer, try MobileTrans to copy photos and messages from your iPhone 4 to iPhone 5.

  • I had my music stored on iTunes on my laptop, which is no longer working, so I bought an iPad, but cannot work out how to transfer my music files from my iPod to my iPad. Why is there no way of connecting one to the other??? Frustrated

I had my music stored on iTunes on my old laptop which is no longer working. I purchased an iPad 2 but don't understand why there is no way of connecting my iPod to my iPad to transfer my music over. Is there an app or something I can use to operate my iPod through my iPad, instead of a PC? If not, then I guess I should've bought a new lap top instead of an iPad.

Select all songs ctrl A, right click - Download.

  • How to transfer GB music file from iPad to iMac?

    Hello to all!
Have created a music file on my iPad Mini and am unable to transfer it to my iMac through AirDrop. With WiFi and Bluetooth on for both, the iMac first shows being connected and then shows not connected to the iPad...stating that it is not supported.
    Any leads?
    Thanks in advance.
    Dr. Somanna

    Does your iMac qualify?
    See this document:
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203106
In order to transfer files between a Mac and and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
your iOS device needs to include a lightning connector
your iOS device needs iOS 7 or later installed
your Mac needs to be a 2012 or later model with OS X Yosemite installed
Your Mac and iOS device both need bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on. You do not have to be connected to a specific Wi-Fi network.
if your mac does not qualify for Air Drop, use iTunes file sharing or iCloud:
    See:  Use iCloud with GarageBand
or: Share GarageBand songs (use iTunes....)
