How to transfer data from one MBP to another on the same wireless network?

Hello All,
My wife & I both have MBP's & are connect to the internet wirelessly via a Comcast-supplied Arris modem & a Belken router I purchased.
Please don't laugh too hard but when I share data with my wife I, first, transfer it onto a flash drvie, then I walk to my wife's mbp & transfer the data from the flash drive to her mbp.
I have a feeling there is a better way. Since I guess we are on the same network can I do this wirelessly some how?
Any help would be appreciated!

Other way is u can use X as a reference object of Y so that both of them have same structure and both objects will share common database tables in BW which are exsting for X.

Can I use flash drives to transfer data from one MBP to another at a differ

I've looked and cannot find any info on the use of flash drives. Can I use a flash drive to transfer data from one MBP to another one at a different location? (ie; school Apple and home MBP) Grade tests and papers at home, enter data into home computer, then put it on flash drive and carry flash drive to school, transferring data to school desk top? Are certain flash drives preferrable over others, name brands, size, etc?

Yep, you sure can. Just about any drive will work as mentioned above. But I'm partial to SanDisk and PNY. I've used both and they work great! Currently I carry both a 2GB SanDisk Micro Cruzer and a retractable 2GB SanDisk Cruzer, both really nice. Replaced my oldie but goodie 256MB PNY drive that I've been using since they first came out.

You transfer data to a new phone by backing up the old one, then restoring the backup to the new one (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2109).
Also, deleting the account only deletes it from the phone, not from iCloud. But if you're running iOS 7 with Find My iPhone turned on you'll need the password in order to delte the account.
If you need to reset the password, contact Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Products and Services>Apple ID>Other Apple ID Topics>Lost or forgotten Apple ID password.

OR
This is done by BASIS team, by client refresh or client copy. Check with your basis team for this and there is some predefined time when they plan this activity, and in most project they do it once in 3 months etc to get production environment in test system which helps to resolve issues of production by creating similar case in test system.

My main user account in my desktop is becoming buggy after to many migrations from different computers and long time usage. I would like to migrate from one user to another user within the same computer to see if this improves my current problems.
How can I do it in a reasonably safe and quick way?

iMAC, OS 10.6.8... and yes, I love Snow Leopard light and handy... and all my programs work on it...

Move small groups of files to the /Users/Shared/ folder or another location and see if the problems disappear. Moving everything to a new user account will in all probability transfer the problems.

This is what I use to quote bathroom remodels. The first thing I do is completely fill in the Master Item List with every Product or Service we can think of to do the project. The Type column has a pop-up menu which includes Combo because some Contractors don't separate the Product from Labor. The Category Totals Table is useful but since some Contractors provide Product and Service at the same time on one invoice I don't get accurate breakdowns for generating my invoices.
What I would like is to transfer all Vendor names included in the project to the Vendor Totals Table but without any duplicates. Some Contractors might perform services in several categories. I've read many listings in the forum and am just not seeing the answer.
I have a sample file ready to send. I don't see a way to send it with this message. First Post! Sorry!

Welcome to Apple Discussions and the Numbers '09 forum.
If your Vendor names (including duplicates) are all in the same column of the source table, it shouldn't be difficult to transfer them to a second table using the technique described below.
For the example, the source table is named Main and has one header row, the Vendors are listed in column C (starting at C2), and column B is used as an index column. Note that to use VLOOKUP, the index column must be to the left of the Vendor column.
The index is generated using the following formula in B2, and filled down to the end of the column:
=IF(COUNTIF(C$1:C2,C)=1,MAX($B$1:B1)+1,"")
On the second table, Vendor List, the following formula is used in Column A (starting at A2) to collect the indexed vendors from the Main table"
=IFERROR(VLOOKUP(ROW()-1,Main :: B:C,2,FALSE),"")
IFERROR is used to trap the "couldn't find" error in the 'empty' rows of Vendor List.

Here's a very basic method. Note that this is just pseudocode - you'll need to work out the actual code (I assume you've learned how in your course studies). Keep in mind this is a very simplified workflow - a real bank transaction would be MUCH more complex.
Create a form that has fields for debit account, credit account, amount
In your script, assign the values from the form to local variables
$debit_acct
$credit_acct
$amount
I'll assume you have an account balance table 'acct_bal'. Have a journal table to store those values along with the date and autonumber transaction id.
Begin Trans
INSERT into journal (credit_acct, debit_acct, amount, trans_date) VALUES ($credit_acct, $debit_acct, $amount, NOW())
Get the transaction_id ($trans_id) from the INSERT statement- the method depends on which MySQL interface you are using.
UPDATE acct_bal SET balance = (balance + $amount) WHERE acct_id = $debit_acct
UPDATE acct_bal SET balance = (balance - $amount) WHERE acct_id = $credit_acct
Rollback on any SQL error else Commit Trans.

Transfer Upgrade from one line to another on the same plan.

Is it possible to transfer an upgrade from one line to a second line, and then have the phone that was used on the second line, be switched to the first line? If so, how would I go about doing this online?

Yes. The account owner should be able to log in to MyVerizon and click on "Transfer this upgrade" when they view all of the upgrades available for their account. If they don't have that option, another way is to just order the phone normally, then activate the new phone on the line it was ordered for briefly to accept the Terms & Conditions of the new contract. Then you can activate the old phone from that line again, which will free the new phone up to be activated on the second line.
If you're getting a 4G phone, you'll want to call in to Customer Service before you start activating though, because the 4G SIM cards can complicate the activation process.

Importing data from one table to another in the same schema

I know this possibly very simple, but I can't seem to figure it out. I have
two tables; one with live user data and another, identical except name, with
archive data. I want to export data that has been flagged from table 1 and
archive it by importing that data into table 2. I am able to modify the
where clause of the export and get the proper data set, but cannot see a way
(via OEM for Oracle 9.2.0.2) to change the name of the table to receive the
import. I just end up shoving the same records back into table1. Is there
an easy way to do this or am I just destined to polish up my script writing

Yeah, you're right... however, I haven't had to write scripts since my old SQL/DS days on VM! I guess I've been lucky all these years.
I guess the thing would go:
1. Select from table1
2. Insert into table2
3. Delete from table1 after successful #2.
