How to transfer iSilo files via iTunes 10.3.1?

Hi,
I'd like to konw is there a way to transfer the iSilo files to directly under iSilo in my iPhone via iTunes? The older version allowed me to do that, but the new version doesn't seem to have that function anymore. According to online sources, I have to create a new network and use the web address to create a folder for it. However, I was unsuccessful in doing so.

Do you want to transfer your files from the imac to the macbook?
Also I would sugguest using the migration assistant but if I remember correctly it is only compatable with 10.4 and up.
So at this point you could upgrade the imac to 10.4 or 5
Or
Boot the iMac into Target disk mode with a firewire cable connecting the imac to the macbook.
You can tehn copy any files you would like over from the imac to the macbook.

I'm sorry if this has already been posted or is in the wrong category. Recently I had to do a system recovery and unfortunately I didn't know about the backup in iTunes. So now all my music files are gone. I'm afraid to sync my ipod because all the files might be gone from my ipod and then I would have to download everything all over again. First of all, do not sync your iPod with iTunes until you have recovered everything from it or you'll erase everything.
Open iTunes first and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices and check the box "Prevent iPods and iPhones from syncing automatically" and choose Ok. Then connect your iPod.
iTunes will only give you the option to copy your iTunes Store purchases directly from an iPod to the computer, you'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
Purchased applications can be downloaded over again, see this article for details: How to redownload purchased applications from the App Store
For everything else (music from CDs etc.) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod Touch or iPhone. Make sure the ones you have looked at are compatible with the iPod Touch, if that compatibility isn't specified that would explain any that don't recognise the device. Also, unless the program is completely free, they usually only allow you to transfer a limited number of tracks to demonstrate their capabilities, to do more you need to purchase a license for the program.

One last thing, if your iPod is set to sync automatically you need to take care connecting to an empty iTunes. Open iTunes first and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices and check the box "Prevent iPods and iPhones from syncing automatically" and choose Ok before connecting your device.
I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay: Back up your iTunes library by copying to an external hard drive

I'm trying to get a dictaphone file (33.4MB) from my itunes to my computer, but I cannot drag it onto my dekstop for some reaosn. Emailing the file doesn't work either since it is too large..

You need to have an PDF reader on your phone to transfer the PDF's. iBooks is a free app that reads PDF's and there are others.
Generally, get and download and install the app. Then, with your phone connected to your computer, iTunes open, go to the apps tab in iTunes and scroll down. You should see the apps that have data transfer ability.
You can then import the PDF's into iTunes and transfer them
I believe in the case of iBooks, there's a books tab in iTunes. You'd open that, click file, import, import to library. navigate to and choose your PDF's. iTunes will import them then you can choose which ones to sync.
Once you have the app, you can also e-mail the file to yourself. Open that file on your phone. There'll be a 'send to' dialogue where you can send the PDF to the app and use it to open the file.

How do I transfer my files from iTunes to WindowsXP Pro or visa versa?

I'd like to be able to figure out how to transfer music files out of iTunes to Windows Media, and from Windows media to itunes.
I've got a bunch of lecutures in both, but both don't do what I need them to do. In a perfectworld, I'd be able to get iTunes to sync to my mp3 player and give Windows Meda Player a swift kick into the ether where it belongs!!!
It appears there was a little box entitled "write protect" that was clicked over the last few years as I was ripping my lectures on to Windows Media Player that now won't let me move those files much of anywhere.
Could someone please help me figure this out?

If the Copy protect music option was selected in your WMP Rip Music settings, your only alternative is probably going to be burning the files affected as Audio CD's, uncheck the Copy protect music option and then reimport the CD into iTunes - or import it directly into iTunes.
If the files currently in iTunes are .mp3's, you can just copy them to a location WMP can access them. If they're .m4a files, though, you will have to convert them to .mp3's first.

You can't drag video into the filesharing pane of iTunes, you can only transfer projects.
Videos need to come in via the photos tab of iTunes.
The easiest way to get videos from the iPhone to the iPad is via the project export import.
Projects can be exported from the iPhone, then imported to the iPad like this:

If the marquee screen isn’t showing, tap the My Projects button .
Scroll to center the project or trailer you want to share.

I solved the problem. I manually created my own Adobe PDF folder by connecting the phone via usb to my PC, Windows Autoplay gave me the option to 'Open device to view files'. Explorer then displayed all the folders on the phone. I created an Adobe PDF folder manually and copied the PDFs I wanted to view into that folder. Adobe Reader then found the files without a problem. I clearly was missing something quite simple but something I'm sure a lot of people would miss. Perhaps if the next version of Adobe Reader for Android created this folder automatically, like Kindle and Kobo and other readers do, it might save a lot of people a bit of a headache.

Substitute, in the KB, the appropriate instructions for your other device in place of the KB section for the receiving device. Be aware that RIM only supports BT file transfer between BBs...with other devices is technically unsupported. But, it usually works, as long as the two devices are paired, trusted to each other, and each have all of the correct BT services enabled for the configuration of the other device.
