How to transfer music received from home sharing onto my ipod touch, 4th gen?

I've recently upgraded to itunes 11. I homeshared some songs from my sister, she did the same and it worked with her (she has an iphone 4) The songs are appearing in my music library but not under the tab 'on this ipod'. I have started to erase and sync hoping that that will add the new songs.
*All of these songs have been acquired legally and bought from the iTunes store with a store gift card* just in case anyone thought there may be a problem with files and the likes.

For anyone out there you wants to know, I have figured it out. In a lengthy round-about way...
If anyone else is having this problem where the 'add music' or 'sync music' button is not appearing in itunes and as long as the music is in the main library in itunes. Simply erase and sync. Nearly had a heart attack when itunes said it was downloading only a total of 299 songs, but it has corrected itself and I'm not happy!

You need a cable that goes from your amp to the mic input that is in headphone jack. Note you can only get mono. Yoo have to get the headphone end that is specifically made to record an iPhone/iPad/iPod.

Never mind, got it to work. I stumbled around on Google for a while and somehow ended up reading things from the 'jailbroken' community. They had easy instructions to get out of Recovery mode. Thanks anyway though!
P.S. For anyone who experiences this, here is the fix: Hold Power and Home in unison for 6 seconds, then power on as normal.

The title kinda says it all, I have a iPod Touch 4th Gen., that I have had for almost 2 years. And it has worked wonderfully, up until a few day ago, when I noticed that the home button was getting harder and harder to push on. and then earlier today it just stopped working all together. To exit out of an app, I had to stut off the iPod and restart it again.
I have considered sending it to Apple, but at, $105 (estimated) I was wondering if there was any other ways to fix the problem. And I'm not even sure if it's a problem with the hardware, or the software.

ICould is forcing songs from my library onto my iPod touch 5th gen, and they can't be deleted or removed. How do I fix this?

I share a library with my parents, and some of their songs are apparently stored in the iCloud. These songs are showing up in the library on my device with the cloud image next to them, giving me the option to download them from the cloud, but they are already on my device. They play when I shuffle through my library, which is something they shouldn't do if I haven't downloaded them, right? I've tried going to the setting and shutting off the show all songs and all that does is show the same songs as of they are downloaded onto my iPod (which they are). I just want these songs off of my device. How would I go about accomplishing this?

Welcome to the Support Communities! If the songs reside on your iPhone, you should be able to delete them per the instructions below. If you see the download icon, you may need to actually download the song before you can actually delete it from your iPhone. Click on the link below for complete details. Music and Videos are gone after charging Ipod Touch 4th gen battery

The battery had completly died on my Ipod touch. Once it was fully charged, I unplugged it from the wall and turned it on, but all of my videos and music were gone!! However, my apps and photos were still there as well as my settings. What caused this?

Yes it did come 70% charged but I charged it, then drained it to charge it from 0% to 100%
the problem is from 0% it took 1 hour and 4 minutes 43 seconds to be fully charged to 100%
This doesn't seem normal as apple says it takes 4 hours.

How do i change my itunes backup location for my ipod touch 4th gen?

I was tlkaing to my dad and noticed that my C: drive is rather low on space and i was shocked cause of how i do not install games and unnecessary stuff on tehre and one of the biggest folders was my itunes backup for my 4th gen I-pod Touch 32 gig.
Well I looked in itunes and I looked under preferences and then advanced preferences the place to change the Itunes media folder, but need ot know if that also includes everything like apps, my songs, etc or if i am looking in the wrong place. I really want to move those 13 gigs of backup off of C: to another drive that has more space, also not sure if I'd need to re-install anything on a drive or not. How do I get a refund for Goat Simulator for Ipod Touch 4th Gen?

I decided I wanted to buy Goat Simulator so I bought it and downloaded it. I opened the app and when it got to the loading screen it would close and go back to the home screen after about 30 seconds of loading. I figured out that this app isn't supported on Ipod 4th gen even though it let me download it. I want to get a refund so I can spend my money on something else. Any help will be appreciated.

The app requires at least iOS 4.0.
