How to transfer music to external micro sd card

When I browsed my nokia c3-00, I noticed there is a folder called \memory card\gallery\music files.
Copying music files to this folder actually reduces the amount of limited memory on the phone.
I was expecting the music files to be copied to the 2Gb external micro sd card.
How do I copy music files to the external micro sd card as I only have about 50mb of free phone memory?

You can move, copy, delete, or create new files and folders in your device memory or
on the memory card. If you organise your files into their own folders, it might help you
find the files in future.
Select Menu > Applications > Gallery.
Create a new folder
In the folder where you want to create a sub-folder, select Options > Add folder.
Copy or move a file to a folder
Select and hold the file, and from the pop-up menu, select the appropriate option
its handy to also give your memo card a name
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.
Now using the Lumia 1520

  • Is it possible to transfer music from zen micro to pc

Hi,I own a zen micro 5gb mp3 player. I recently had to reinstall windows. Instead of backing up my music of cd's or dvd's i decided i could just transfer my music from my mp3 back to my computer later. That doesnt seem to be possible. It says "access to file denied" when i try to transfer music from my zen micro to my pc.So basically i need to no how to transfer music from my device to my pc (if it is even possible...)Thanks

As to the removable disk: are you sure you have enough space left to make a partition of that kind? That could explain it not working.
I don't know what firmware you use, but if you use the newest .x or 2.x, there is something more you can try:
these firmware should enable you to use the normal Windows Explorer to d&d files from the ZM to the PC and vice-versa. Works like a charm for me. You'll need the Creative software installed for that, but it might be worth a chance. Search for a toilet-like icon, that is supposed to look like an old Creative Jukebox, in the top level of the Windows Explorer shortly after you connect the ZM (and have the newest firmware on).
    Cheers,
    Jan.

do not confuse moving your whole folder and library with moving just media files as in

Quick answer if you let iTunes manage your music:  Copy the whole iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive.  Start iTunes with the option key held down and guide it to the new location of the library.

  • How to transfer music from iPhone 3GS to 4s

I need help on how to transfer music from my old iPhone 3GS to my new iPhone 4s.  Thanks

Apple's method is you sync the new phone to the same iTunes library you used with the old phone. You do not do a phone-to-phone transfer nor do you transfer items (except iTunes Store purchases ) from a phone to a computer.  Your computer's iTunes is the master and up-to-date repository of your media.

  • How to transfer music files on iPad to new Macbook Pro

I just got my new MacBook Pro and I am learning some of the features it has to offer but I have not figured out how to transfer music files from my iPad3 to the new laptop. Is there a way to do that or am I out of luck?

Some of the information below has subsequently appeared in a document by turingtest2: Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991
Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only media purchased from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

  • How to transfer music from laptop to ipad

I have music in my laptop in itune folder. How do I transfer music from itune in laptop to itune in ipad2.

If you have iTunes installed on the computer, you have to make sure it is the current version.
Just run iTunes and go to "File > Check for Update" to check whether your iTunes is the latest one. Then, use USB cable to connect iPad with computer as well.
After iTunes recognize your iTunes, just hit "iPad" tab under the "DEVICE" section of the iTunes sidebar. On the right screen, you can see a new window to list you all categories of iPad. Just hit "Music" tab. Check the box next to "Sync Music" and click the circle next to "Entire music library" or "Selected playlists, artists and genres." Click the boxes next to specific artists, playlists and genres if you want to sync specific music to your iPad.
Now, you may press the "Apply" button in the bottom-right corner of the main iTunes screen, followed by "Sync" in the same area to transfer the music to your iPad.
