How to transfer photos from ipod nano 4th gen to my mac/pc

with iPhotos i can't see the pict of the idevice....please help me
the image are so important for me!!!!

You are going to have to use 3rd party software in order to move them, use Google to search for one. Keep in mind unless you copied them to your Nano as part of disk storage (in other words if you synced them) they will be very small thumbnails when you get them on your PC.

  • How to transfer files from ipod nano to itunes

how do I transfer files from my ipod nano (5th gen) to a new computer.  All old files on old computer gone.
    Thanks

You can only transfer music bought from the iTunes store in both directions, i.e. computer to iPod and iPod to computer.  Other music that you've ripped from CDs you own or that you've downloaded from somewhere other than the iTunes store can only be transferred in one direction, i.e. computer to iPod.  You cannot transfer it from iPod to computer.
That said, there is however third party software that you can buy that will transfer files from the iPod to the computer.  Google will help you on that.  Also read this article:

  • How can you transfer photos from iPod Nano to new iMac?

My friend has an ipod nano. Here's a photo, not sure what gen. it is.
He had a PC that no longer works and has no data left on it. His original iPod Photos were stored on that PC that no longer works.
He has since purchased an iMac and is running Lion OS X, all up to date.
The problem: He NO LONGER has the ORIGINAL PHOTOS, only the ones on his iPod Nano, that used to work with his PC, which no longer functions.
He would like to copy the photos stored on his iPod Nano, to his new iMac.
Using finder, he went to Device, then clicked PHOTOS and dragged the folder to his desktop. It said there was 1.43 GB of content.
However, all that was saved to the desktop was (see other photo) Photo Cache, Photo Database and Thumbs. There are no photos at all. What is he doing wrong? Thanks.

There are a number programs out there for recovering photos from an iPod, have a look at the ones below. If you search the internet you can find more. Just be aware that what you'll be recovering will be photos optimised for the iPod so they won't be the same quality as the original full resolution versions:
    iPodPhotoCopy Windows only
    CopyPodPhoto Windows only
Tansee iPod Transfer Photo Windows only
iPod Photo Liberator Mac & Windows
TouchCopy Mac and Windows Versions (iPhone and iPod Touch compatible)
If you have full resolution copies of the photos on the iPod have a look here: Apple Knowledge Base article - Use Disk Mode to copy photos from iPod

  • How to transfer photos from iPod to iPhoto

I was in the iPhoto discussion but was asked to come here so here I am. I accidentally deleted all my photos from iPhoto but the good news is that all the same photos are in my 60gb iPod Video. How can I transfer them back to my iPhoto? I'm afraid to connect my iPhoto to my iTunes for fear that all my photos from my iPod would be deleted. What should I do? Please help me!!!!!

  • How to transfer photos from iPod classic (earlier version) to my mc

I just brought a new imac and I am trying to transfer my photos from my ipod classic earlier version (software version 1.3, 30GB) to my iMAC.

The photos syned to the iPod are very low res versions of the original photos, optimized to fit on the iPod's small screen while taking up as little space in storage as possible.  They are stored in a single special database file.  You cannot use iTunes to transfer them to the Mac, and if you could, they would look bad blown up to a larger size on the iMac's screen.
There is a setting on the iPod's Photos screen in iTunes (a checkbox) that says Include full-resolution photos.  IF that setting was checked when you synced the photos to the iPod, you can Enable disk use and find the originial full res photo files in the Photos folder (on the iPod).
Otherwise, you should transfer the original photo files from your previous computer, if possible.

  • How do I reset my Ipod nano 4th gen to factory settings? (I found it after 3 years, and the email it was under is deleted and gone. I am trying to give it to a friend who can't afford one.)

I found my ipod nano after it being missing for nearly 4 years, (ITS 4TH GEN), and i want to give it to a friend who can't afford one. Here's the problem, I deleted the email that I used for it about 2 and a half years ago, what do i do?

I don't know how an email affects using your iPod nano...    But what you want to do is called a Restore.  You do this with iTunes, so you need to have iTunes installed on your computer.  If it's not installed, you can get iTunes here
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/
Connect the iPod and select it in iTunes.  The screen that appears is the iPod's Summary screen.  The button for doing a Restore is there.  This will erase the iPod, re-install its software, and set it to default settings, which is what is often called "factory" condition.
NOTE:  The iPod's lithium battery may not hold a charge after it has been sitting in the drained condition for a few years.  You should charge it completely, and confirm that it operates properly when disconnected, before giving it to your friend.

  • What's wrong and how to I fix my iPod nano 4th gen

Ok so my iPod nano has a black screen with one green thin line on the right and one thick blue line on the right edge.
It wouldn't turn on until I fully charged it and only when I reset it with the select and hold buttons.
After resetting the screen would show signs of resetting but the backlight would not turn on.
It would not show up on iTunes unless I plugged it in and then reset it with select and home buttons.
It then says the iPod is in recovery mode.
After restoring the iPod it repeats the same message.
If you need any other info please ask
