hi every one,can you help me how to transfer picture from pc (windows xp) to my ipad2

From your Old Computer... Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..
An Added Bonus is that you will then have a Backup of iTunes...

Note that, if you use iTunes to sync photos onto the iPad, you'll need to use iTunes to take them off.
if you don't have a lot and want to keep deletability, you may want to consider mailing them to yourself, or uploading them to something like dropbox, then downloading them (via the dropbox app) to your iPad.
there are also several photo syncing apps out there that may suit your needs. Afraid I don't have any to recommend. But syncing via iTunes isn't the only way to get photos onto your iPad..it's just the  built in way

Connect the iPad to your MBP and open iTunes.  In the photos section of your iPad in iTunes you can choose selected albums, Events or the entire iPhoto library to sync to your iPad.

How to transfer pictures from ipod to computer?

Hey, I've just read your answer regarding Photos folder in an G5 iPod, I hope you can help, 'cos you know it well! I imported photos from my PC to this folder, and then deleted them out. The problem occured when I realized that I might have also deleted some default running files in the Photos folder. Since then, I have met the error message "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable" whenever I opened the Folder. I'm unable to import photos now. Would you possibly show me how to fix it? Thanks a lot,

  • How to transfer pictures from my cellphone onto mac book pro

How do I transfer pictures from my cell phone unto my macbook pro?

What Cell phone do you have? I have the LG Lucid phone which is an android phone and just use the usb cable to transfer the files. I also have dropbox that I will use from time to time as well. I have to set the connectivity setting to Mass Storage to be able to transfer files and photos. The media sync option only works if you have Windows. When I first plug the phone in, Mac will tell me that the device is not compatible and will ask if I want to eject or ignore it. When the phone is first plugged in, it tries to run as an installer so Mac doesn't like it. Once I ignore it, the phone then becomes a storage device and will show both the internal and the external SD card on my desktop. I can then use the standard copy and paste methods to move files from the phone to the drive or you can use iPhoto or other photo progams to copy them. I have picassa on the system that I use to get photos.

  • How to transfer pictures from one itunes to another?

I have most of my iPod stuff on my laptop, but my pictures are on my mac. I just got a new iPod, and I did what I normally do to get my pictures onto it- go into itunes, go into my pictures, and apply it. This time, however, not all of the pictures got transferred. I think it would be easier to have all my pictures on my laptop, but I do not know how to transfer them from one computer to another. How can I do this?

If they are synced photos just copy the folders with the photos to the new computer. Synced photos are not associated with iTunes or the iTunes library.

You can copy them to your computer and sync them to your new phone:

Or you can restore your new phone from the backup of the old one, but only photos from the camera roll will be restored on your  new phone.

  • How to transfer pictures from PSE 8 to PSE 12? [was: alle]

Just installed  elements 12 12 to replace ps elements 8  I am unable to transfer pictures from version 8 to 12

    Hi,
The organizer uses a database (the catalog) to link to all your images - it does not actually save its own copies of the images. What it does save is the small thumbnails which you normally see in the grid. When you import images from a camera or card reader, the images are copied to where you have specified and then indexed in the database.
You should not rename, delete or move images outside of the elements organizer otherwise they will show up as missing files.
When you installed version 12 it should have asked if you wanted your catalog converted to the new format - the images themselves are not touched and should remain wherever they are stored on your disk. So there should not be any need to save or restore the images by the install process.
If you didn't convert your version 8 catalog when you installed version 12, you can try starting the organizer, going to the File menu and select Manage Catalogs. There, click on the Convert button. Hopefully it should find your version 8 catalog which you can select and then click on Convert.
Do you still have version 8 installed?
    Brian

  • I have an Ipad2 and cannot remember how to transfer pictures from my IPad to IPhoto on my Mac computer.  Could someone advise?

I have an Ipad2 and need to transfer pictures from it to my IPhoto app on my Mac computer.  Can you provide me simple instructions.
    Charlotte Eggers

To copy photos to your computer that were taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites then see this page -  if you connect the iPad to your Mac and open iPhoto then the it should recognise the iPad as a camera and allow you to copy those photos off.
To copy photos that were originally synced from a computer you will need a third-party app such as Simple Transfer which can copy them off via your wifi network. But as photos are 'optimised' when they are synced to the iPad, any that you then copy back to a computer may not be exactly the same as they originally were on your computer.
