Bought a new laptop. Wanna transfer creative suite from pc to laptop. I only have the setup disc and no code. Help?

Go to Help > System Info. It will have your serial number on top. Keep it in a safe place (the serial number is what you pay for).
Then download the latest version (4.3) here (assuming Windows): http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=113&platform=Windows
Then you just enter your serial number when you install that. Alternatively you can download the trial version, but AFAIK that will be 4.0, not 4.3, so you'll have to update it anyway.

Also, if you are running iOS 5 on your iPad 1, and you have previously enabled iCloud Notes sync your iPad 1 notes should be in your iCloud account. Simply enable iCloud Notes sync on your iPad 3 to trasnfer the notes.
If you havent't previously enabled iCloud Notes sync on your old iPad, you can transfer your iPad notes to your new iPad without needing to restore from backup using third party applications such as copytrans contacts
Simply run the program on your computer, connect your iPad and export your notes in text files to your coputer.
After that use the same tool to import the notes to your new iPad.

You need to install iTunes on your laptop.
Then drag the iTunes folder:
My Documents\My Music\iTunes
to another location eg the laptop's desktop.
Then copy the iTunes folder from My Music on the desktop computer to the My Music folder on the laptop.
This could be done via an external drive, your iPod or network.

edit to say: adobe chat support couldn't offer a fix, so directed me here. It seems others are having similar problems...

It shouldn't be a problem. What's important is that you are up and running. Btw, keep that installer in a safe place in case you need it again. Installing is preferred over transfers and Time Machine recoveries. Both tend to break licensing. And of course check for updates.
And if you haven't already, register your software. That way the s/n is in your Adobe account (My Products) should you lose track of it.
Hmm. You can see if you can update AIR first. Photoshop won't launch?

If you have iTunes installed on the computer, you have to make sure it is the current version.
