How to transfer purchased tv season from ipad to itunes

I bought a tv show on the ipad. It is not being synched to itunes.
In the purchased items on the ipad i see only the music, but not the movies & tv seasons.
what is the fix?

Hello Raymondo,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with transferring videos to your iPod classic.  As you suspected, HD videos are not supported on the iPod classic:
HD videos purchased from the iTunes Store are offered in 720p or 1080p and are compatible with iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), Apple TV, and computers. You may need to download your purchased video from iTunes in the Cloud in a lower resolution for your device.
Use the steps in the section titled "Download previously purchased content in a lower resolution" in the following article to download the Standard Definition version of your videos:
iTunes: Sync purchased HD videos to iPod or iOS device

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

    Hi there China2,
If you are using Windows, then head to Windows Explorer, plug your device in, select your device and you can copy the images over from the device to any location on your computer as normal.
On a mac, plug your device in, launch iPhoto, and click import.
    Hope this helps,

  • How to transfer files to and from iPad air using bluetooth

How can I transfer file to and from my iPad using Bluetooth to another Bluetooth-enabled device?  Is there an app for this?

iOS devices do not have the Bluetooth profile for file transfer. Even if the other device is a an iOS device, you can't transfer files over BT. You can use Airdrop between iOS devices. However, even though Airdrop uses BT to locate other devices, the actual transfer is done over WiFi. There are some apps in the App Store that, if loaded on both iOS devices will allow limited file transfer over BT between the devices.

  • HT1373 Why can't I transfer all the songs from iPad into iTune on my new Macbook Air?

I've recently purchased the new Mackbook Air 2013 model , OSX MT 10.8.4 , iTunes 11.0.5
And here's my problem, I connected my iPad to iTunes and thought all the songs
would be transfered automatically to iTunes library, but appearantly only haf of them did with iCloud icons next to the song's name.
Another thing that I noticed is that all the songs in the library are the ones I purchased on iPhone quite a while ago (I share iTunes account on both devices)
but for those recently I purchased on iPad are just not there.
So I'd like to ask you guys how to figure out this problem.
    Many thanks.

It works, thank you so much

  • How to transfer "folders" of photos from Ipad to PC?

I am about to leave on a two week trip to France. I'm sure I will have many great photo ops and will shoot lots of pictures each day. I plan on downloading each day to my Ipad, so that I will have a folder "event" for each day of the trip. My only problem will be when I get home and transfer these hundreds of shots to my PC.
I will used Adobe Bridge to do so, no problem. But what I would like to do is preserve the individual folders for each day as they existed on the Ipad. I could always do this by hand after the fact, but it would be so much easier if I could figure a way to make the Ipad/or Bridge do this. Anytime I have ever downloaded imported images from the Ipad in times past, several "events" suddenly become one.
I would appreciate any ideas you might have on the subject.
    TIA,
    Georgia

Photostream must be enabled on both devices, both devices must be connected via Wifi, and  both must be associated with the same iCloud account (apple ID). Download iTunes 11.0.4 for Windows
and plug your device into your computer's USB port, or enable Itunes Wifi Sync on your device, to transfer your photos once the device is connected.

  • How to transfer GB music file from iPad to iMac?

    Hello to all!
Have created a music file on my iPad Mini and am unable to transfer it to my iMac through AirDrop. With WiFi and Bluetooth on for both, the iMac first shows being connected and then shows not connected to the iPad...stating that it is not supported.
    Any leads?
    Thanks in advance.

    Does your iMac qualify?
    See this document:
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203106
In order to transfer files between a Mac and and an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
your iOS device needs to include a lightning connector
your iOS device needs iOS 7 or later installed
your Mac needs to be a 2012 or later model with OS X Yosemite installed
Your Mac and iOS device both need bluetooth and Wi-Fi turned on. You do not have to be connected to a specific Wi-Fi network.
if your mac does not qualify for Air Drop, use iTunes file sharing or iCloud:
    See:  Use iCloud with GarageBand
or: Share GarageBand songs (use iTunes....)

  • How to download pictures and music from Ipad (no Itunes)?

Hi.. a week ago someone broke into my home and they stoled stuff (inlcuding my macbook). The only photos I still have are in my Ipad.
How can I download these photos to another mac (not the ones taken with the camera, but the ones synced with my stolen macbook)?
Unfortunately, the available mac that my mom lended to me is from 2007 and the OS is less than 10.5, which is requirement for the latest Itunes (needed for my Ipad2).
So as you can see I am in trouble. Is there a way to download the pictures (and/or music) without using Itunes?
    please Help.!

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

  • Old computer crashed. Bought new computer.  Downloaded itunes.  How do i get my apps from IPAD to itunes on new computer?

my old computer crashed.  I bought a new one and downloaded itunes.   When I try to Sync my IPAD, I am asked if I want to replace the apps on my IPAD with the apps on the computer.    There are no apps on the computer except the few that are installed when you have a new device.  I am afraid of losing all of my apps and info on my IPAD.  How do I sync and not lose anything?

You need to transfer all content from the iPad into the iTunes library, backup the iPad, restore from the backup and then sync with iTunes. If you had the iTunes library stored or backed up elsewhere, that would be the ideal thing to use, but apparently you don't have I backed up so .....
It is all explained in this discussion.

  • How to transfer iBooks books & PDFs from old iPad to new iPad?

(Well, it seems my title got truncated; originally it read: How to transfer iBooks books & PDFs from old iPad to new iPad?)
I've recently gotten an iPad Air to replace my previous iPad 2. I have a bunch of books and PDFs in iBooks on the old iPad, and want to transfer them to the new iPad.
A search of Apple Support informs me that anything I've purchased from iBooks can be downloaded at any time to any of my devices (works like Amazon's Kindle system, apparently), but nearly all the content I have in iBooks on the iPad I've downloaded from other sources, so it won't be in my iBooks Store account (I might have bought one book there).
I've also seen several instructions on how to copy all my data from the old iPad to the new via Backup & Restore, but that seems to require restoring the new iPad to factory setup, which would delete everything I have on it now – including a bunch more books I've gotten since I started using the new iPad. And I don't want to copy everything, only the books/PDFs (the new iPad has everything I want, except for the books).
Since there seems to be no way to transfer files directly from one iPad to the other, it seems it must be done via iTunes on my MacBook Pro (and I want to copy all the books/PDFs to the computer anyway). So I connected the iPad 2 to my MacBook Pro (OS X 10.9.4) and opened iTunes (11.3.1). Then clicked on the iPad's name in the sidebar to the left, and on Books below it. I see a list of the books on the iPad. I check the little boxes by all their names to select them (not sure if that's necessary, but it seems like a good idea), then click on the Sync button at the lower right, to the right of the bar at the bottom of the window with colored bands showing memory usage on the iPad. A message appears saying "The app 'iBooks' was not installed on the iPad '[name]' because the app could not be found."
But iBooks is already on the iPad; I have it open and see the list of books in it, which matches the list shown in iTunes. The message has a "More Information" button; I click that and it opens an Apple Support article titled "iOS: An app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open": "Learn what to do if you see one of these issues with an app you downloaded from the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: The app unexpectedly quits; The app stops responding; You can’t open the app." But none of these apply; the iBooks app is on the iPad, and works fine there.
The article suggests: (1) Restart the App. I've done that, no help. (2) Restart your device. Done that, no help. (3) Update your device software and your apps. The iPad is running iOS 6.1.3, iBooks 3.1.3; not the latest versions, no, but I'd rather not update it to newer, bigger, more power-hungry versions if I don't have to. Is it that iTunes 11 doesn't work with iOS 6? I haven't seen this stated anywhere.
So instead I click the OK button on the message, but nothing further happens, so far as I can tell: None of the books/PDFs on the iPad (about 380MB) appear in iBooks on the MacBook Pro.
I click on "Books" in the row of words across the top of the iTunes window, and it shows me the single PDF presently in iBooks on the MacBook Pro. I click the box by "Sync Books", and a message appears: "Are you sure you want to remove existing music, movies, TV shows, books, and tones from this iPad and sync with this iTunes library?" Well, no, that's exactly what I DON'T want to do. I don't want to erase the 380MB of books and PDFs on the iPad and replace them with the single PDF now in iBooks on the MacBook Pro. I want to copy the books from the iPad 2 to iTunes, so I can copy them back to the new iPad Air (if, God willing, I can figure out how to do that without erasing the books now on the iPad Air).
I've been working with Macintosh computers for over 26 years. It's always been a fairly simple process to copy files from one computer to another. I don't want to "sync" all the data (address book, email, God knows what else) on the iPad with the corresponding information on the MacBook Pro – especially if that will erase everything on the iPad (which has information not on the MacBook Pro, e.g. 380MB of books). I just want to copy the books and PDFs in iBooks from the old iPad to the MacBook Pro, then to the new iPad, adding them to the books on the new iPad, so I don't lose anything.
Can anybody give me a clue?

Transferring your prepaid cellular data account depends on your carrier. AT&T lets you move it yourself when you go to Cellular Data in Settings and log into your account with your previous AT&T user name and password. For iPads with Sprint service, you can set up an account on the new iPad and contact Sprint Customer Care (888-211-4727 and go through the menus) to deactivate the old plan and get credit for unused service. For Verizon, call the company’s customer service number for mobile broadband support (800-786-8419) and ask to have your account transferred.

  • How to transfer purchased item from itunes to an ipod

how to transfer purchased item from itunes to an ipod? Spent about an hour and cannot figure out how to do that The best result this far was smth. like this to Sync a book means that all your music, songs, TV show and movies will be erased. What a strange Apple logic!

That message indicate that you are trying to sync with other than the one syncing computer/iTunes library that yo can have. You have to two choices:
    - Make this computer your syncing computer by:
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive: Apple Support Communities
    - The manual method of syncng specified here:
iTunes 11 for Windows: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad
    or
iTunes 11 for Mac: Set up syncing for iPod, iPhone, or iPad
The manaul method on works for music and videos on other than your one syncing computer.
