How to transfer recordings from zen micro to

I know how to get files on my Zen micro, and I have the latest firmware. But I cannot copy any music back from the device onto my computer using the zen micro media explorer or by exploring the device through windows. I also cannot copy the recordings I made to my comp. How can I do this? Thanks in advance.

hi dude, just bought my micro zen so not sure about this, but i noticed that when i copy the mp3 files and i disconnect and reconnect it, i cant see the files of my zen micro in the explorer, but i start to copy other mp3 to micro zen, all my files suddenly show up, maybe you can try that.

As to the removable disk: are you sure you have enough space left to make a partition of that kind? That could explain it not working.
I don't know what firmware you use, but if you use the newest .x or 2.x, there is something more you can try:
these firmware should enable you to use the normal Windows Explorer to d&d files from the ZM to the PC and vice-versa. Works like a charm for me. You'll need the Creative software installed for that, but it might be worth a chance. Search for a toilet-like icon, that is supposed to look like an old Creative Jukebox, in the top level of the Windows Explorer shortly after you connect the ZM (and have the newest firmware on).

using the zen micro media explorer.. There is an option "Transfer data between pc and device". I use that to transfer songs onto my computer but i think you can do that for recordings as well since they are in wav format.

I was recently on a long trip and ran out of storage on my camera's memory in a location where I was not able to buy more memory or to transfer to a PC, so I transferred directly from my camera to the Zen using the USB function. The photos transferred smoothly and are showing beautifully on the Zen.
the problem is that I can't figure out how to transfer/copy them to my PC now that I am home. Looking at the user guide I'm getting concerned that I should have used the removable hard dri've function instead of the USB function....

When you transferred using the USB function, your files have been put under the Imported Files folder. Use Creative Media Explorer to go through your folders in your Zen, and under Imported Files you should see a folder with your pictures. Just drag and drop them back to your PC.
You can then erase the pictures from your Zen, and re-sync with your computer, and the pictures will then be under the proper Pictures folder in your Zen!

Hello. I've had my Zen Micro for about nine months now, and I've been pleased with the player overall despite it freezing up a few months back and me sending my old player back and getting it replaced.
But anyway to my question:
I've used my Zen Mirco to record some audio using the built in microphone, and now I need to get it onto my computer. When the player is plugged in, I see it in Windows Explorer and I can see the wav file that was recorded, but I'm unable to do anything with the file except delete it; I can't move it onto my computer, which is where I want it.
Is there any way to get the recorded file from the player onto my computer?

I just got a new iPod, and I did what I normally do to get my pictures onto it- go into itunes, go into my pictures, and apply it. This time, however, not all of the pictures got transferred. I think it would be easier to have all my pictures on my laptop, but I do not know how to transfer them from one computer to another. How can I do this?

If they are synced photos just copy the folders with the photos to the new computer. Synced photos are not associated with iTunes or the iTunes library.

How to transfer Signatures from one Mac to another

In Mail, if I go to Preferences > Signatures, I see in the left column *All Signatures*, and signatures for various accounts.
How would I transfer the signatures in *All Signatures* from one Mac to another?
The names of files in the folder ~/Library/Mail/Signatures are all cryptic.
Moreover, since each signature is tied to a certain account, I don't think that I can just copy these files into the Signature folder of the 2nd Mac.

Simply moving these cryptic files did not work, in the sense that these signatures did not show up in the right-most column of the Signatures pane.
I made sure that I did not move the SignaturesByAccount.plist file in the ~/Library/Mail/Signatures folder.
So, would someone please share with me how to transfer signatures from one Mac to another, with both running Mail?
