Local material " A"
Import Material " AI"
above mentioned both material were same, earlier business was created two cat numbers.
Business were have two Cat numbers 1) "A" 2) "AI", actually both the materials were same ,These two materials were created means 1) "A" material is procured as local and 2) "AI" material were procured from Import..
Now business decided that. keep only one material instead of A and AI. Now they want to go for split valuation "A(L)" means Procure locally and "A(I)" means Procure Import business.
Now problem is.
Old "AI" materials stock will going to transfer to New Split valuated material A(I). When i will transfer this material to other plant to company (Through STO were creating Billing also) , then how to transfer excise duties .Because while Import we were taken credit of duties.
is their any workaround solution is their?. Bcz now onwards Business does not want to use old import material 'AI"...
How to work in this case in STO?
I have doubts... we were taken credit for Material "AI" now we were transferred that materials stock to "A"... in this case while STO how to transfer credited duties to next company??

Once you received the material with excisable then system will update

If suppose old "AI " materials was updated in the above table. then Now as per your business you were transferred material to material(mov type 309), then afterwords moving material through STO,
then system will never find New"A(I)" material , because this materials does not available in above said table.
Better check Update table with new materials and check the STO process.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. I just want to ask how to transfer sales bom from R/3 to APO? if i change my bom usage to 5 and use this BOM in my Production version be enough to send it to APO?

Thanks again for your reply. I was trying to CIF sales BOM in APO but only the header material are being created in APO. The component are not added in PDS. This is how I create it in SAP R/3:
1. transaction cs01 --> enter header material, plant and BOM USAGE =5
2. inside cs01, i entered components, quantity for each components and ITEM category = L (stock item)
i also eneterd base quantity for header material
3. create production version for header material with routing and this BOM
4. create and activate material CIF model for header and components
5. create and activate PDS CIF model for header and components.
After doing all these steps, PDS is created in APO but I only have the header material (no components)
I tried changing BOM to other bom usage and components were populated in PDS.
Am i missing nay steps? Thanks.

We, at the time of changing Non Open Item Manged account to Open Item Manged account, how can we transfer Line items to make this GL account Zero, If suppose line items are more than 200.

If you are attempting to change the account from Non Open Item managed, you need to make the account balance zero. The change will be be effective only for future transactions. You need not transfer all line items, find the balance and make an entry to debit or credit to make it zero, to a temporary account. Later, once you have activated, you can reverse that transaction.
The OSS 606977 refered may be helpful if you are looking for reverse activation. i.e from Open to Non Open. Here is a brief:
Symptom
In the G/L account master record, you can activate/deactivate the 'Open item management' indicator if the balance of the account is zero. In this case, the system does not check whether postings exist on the account.
If postings exist, this could lead to problems, for example, if the clearing is reversed after the change to the indicator is made.
Other terms
FS00, FS02, FSS0, FS02, FH190, XOPVW
Reason and Prerequisites
The transactions for the maintenance of the G/L account master record did not check whether postings exist on the account. Now the program checks whether postings exist in the current year or previous two fiscal years.
Solution
Implement the attached correction or import the corresponding Support Package. Since it could make sense to change an account with balance zero from open item managed to non-open item managed (and vice versa) - despite postings to the account - the message is delivered as customizable (with error as a default setting).
The check is also carried out, when open-item management is activated, is postings exist on the account.
If you implement the note you must also carry out the following:
Use Transaction SE91 to create message 190 in message class FH with the following text:
Account balance = 0; however, postings exist on the account
Use Transaction SM30 to insert the following entry into view T100S:
Application area   FH
MsgNo              190
Allowed            EW
Standard          E
Afterwards, the message can be customized in View V_T100C. To do this, you can use Transaction OBA5.
