How to Transfer Windows Live .eml files to .pst mails to Outlook in MacBook Pro

I had been using a Vaio with Vista environemnt. My email software there was Windows Live Mail.
While changing to the MacBook Pro, I took a back up of all the folders and stored with on my MacBook Pro.
All the files here are .eml files.
On purchasing hte MacBook Pro, i also took Microsoft Outlook for Mac and have been using that for emailing.
But I cant transfer the .eml files to Outlook as it says I need a .pst file.
Have not been able to find a reliable (preferably free!) convertor.
Any help on changing the .eml files to .pst files on the Mac would be greatly appreciated.

Hi guys, I'm new to Mac. I know that you can add email accounts likeHotmail into your Mail app so that you can view, edit, modify, create and delete your emails and folders, etc. The questions I have are (1) can I see all the emails I have not just in the inbox but all the other folders as well just like if I was logging on to Hotmail via Internet Explorer ? (2) what happens if I read some emails, delete or move some emails, create new emails and send or save in draft, create or delete folders, etc in the Mail app on my MacBook Pro, will this synchronize and reflect the same on my Hotmail account if I was to logging via Internet Explorer ? I know that this doesn't work with Hotmail accounts on my iPhone 4 via the Mail app. Everytime I read an email or delete an email on my Mail app, it does not synchronize or reflect the same on my live Hotmail account when I logging via Internet Explorer.

Not really a problem with Firefox per se; just wondering how I set Windows Live Hotmail as my default mail client.

I am switching from ymail to hotmail as my mail client. I am having a VERY difficult time switching my default mail client to Windows Live Hotmail from Yahoo Mail. Please help!!!!! I have followed all the directions for IE8 but of course they don't work with Firefox. Could you send me in the right direction? Thank you so very much for your prompt attention to this matter.

Sync with iTunes.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.

My theory is that Windows get confused when it is opening the program file and the following intsructions should create a unique copy. I have produced the instructions in detail because I am never sure how much people are use to - forgive me you know much of it.
Open Windows or Folder Explorer
Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 12
Look for PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe
Right click on the file and select Copy
Right click on a blank space and select Paste - you should get a prompt asking if you want to continue - you do - this should produce a copy of the file
Rename PhotoshopElementsEditor - Copy.exe to PSE 12 ED - you should get a prompt asking if you want to continue - you do
Close the Explorer
In the Windows Control Panel, select Default Programs
In Default Programs, Select Associate a file type … - it will take a while to display the list
Scroll down to the type you want to select - say .jpg and select it
Click on the Change program button
Click on the Browse button
Search for the PSE 12 ED file renamed in 6 above, select it and then click on the Open button
Click on OK and close the Default Programs
Now try your tests. I can get multiple files to open as well as retain Expert mode.

I just wonder how to transfer more than one files from one computer to another over internet at once. Not using ftp. pls any one give me the solution.

This isn't hard to do, but it depends on your exact need. I did something very similar to let me upload all my mp3 file from home to work using sockets (don't have the code anymore..).
What I did was implement a "pull" approach rather than a "push" approach. In other words, everytime my server got a request from a client, it served up the next file. It didn't know or care that the client was always the same.
If you can set up a server to serve one file when a client attaches, then basically just put that code in a loop.
If this doesn't meet you need, it might still be helpful as a starting point...

You will need to selct other at the bottom and then put in your hotmail.

You can't transfer. bbb file to Iphone nor android as it's for BlackBerry devices only. But, you can transfer Contacts, Calendar items, Pictures, Videos, Files and documents to Iphone using 'Device Switch'.

Use the Office for Mac and ignore using Parallels for that. If you have PC only apps you have to run that are MS Windows only then consider Parallels. Just transfer your main PC, using Migration Assistant. If you don't know how then simply read over Pondini's article called Lion or Mountain Lion Setup Assistant tips and look for the section on migrating from a PC. Millions have done what you are about to, it's far from leading edge these days, if you go to an Apple Store to purchase they will offer this as a service, something you might be interested in.

I'm not sure what you're doing here, but this isn't anything I recognize as compilable applescript. what is this 'mode' thing you're talking about.
at any rate, if you have a loose emlx file sitting around somewhere you can simply open it in mail (use the 'open' command and the file specification for the emlx file) and work with it appropriately. if you're talking about an actual eml file (e.g. from Outlook Express) you'd have to GUI script Mail's 'import mailbox' command (the applescript handler for importing mail only works with Mail.app mailboxes)

You could try Paragon HFS+ for Windows. That would allow you to read and write files from a Mac-formatted drive.
