How to "transform" multiple regions?

I looked in the reference manual and cant find the page where to do that. Here is what I want to do :
1- select a number of regions at the same time
2- use the transformer window to do an operation on all the regions that are selected at the same time
Is this possible? How?
I tried the selection of some regions. Since there are no Transform in the menu of the arrangement window, I had to open a matrix window by clicking one of the selected region, then when I do the Transform, it only transform the region clicked, not all the regions selected. What am I doing wrong? This is something I could do with the (very) old sequencer Vision... I hope it can be done with something as "advanced" as Logic! (I see that in 15 years we have not progressed that much!!!)

Select the regions you want to transform in the arrange.
Open the transform window.
Set your parameters according to what you want to do.
Hit "Select & Operate".

I edit multiple regions in one Piano Roll window at the same time. (It is very handy way of editing especially in huge orchestra projects.)
I can see midi contents of all selected regions in Piano Roll at the same time.
1) But how to choose certain one region of many selected to edit it?
2) And how to edit all at once?

First of all, the Piano Roll has two mechansim, of what it is displaying.
Selected Track: This displays all the Regions that you select in the Tracks Window
One Track: Selecting one Region in the Track Area displays all the Regions of tha tTrack in the Piano Roll. If you select multiple Regions in the Tracks Window, then the last selected Regions counts.
Whatever Regions are now displayed in the Piano Roll Editor can be edited. Select the MIDI Events and apply the command.
You can also apply edits directly to the selected Regions in the Tracks Window.

One thing to be clear about:
Tracks Window: Any edit is applied to the selected Regions
Piano Roll Editor: Ay edit is applied to the selected Events

How to export multiple regions with fades to audio files

When I have a bunch of regions that I want to export to audio files Logic manages to ignore the fades I created on them. Is there any other way than bouncing every single region? Basicly I just want to consolidate (like PT) the regions fom the project including the fades.

And his package (export_excel_pkg) have a limitation: This package will not work for Function Returning SQL type of report.

Well think of it I believe the scenario is too bird viewed hence the solution can't be exact.
But thinking of a possible solution every time a child operation fails have a catch block where you you go back to system if the parent needs to be deleted if yes, call Delete Method on the parent.
Note: Make sure that the decision on whether or not the parent record needs to be deleted will depends on the question "Does Parent Record already has several other children associated to it or not"

How to use multiple JREs (1.5.0_20 and 1.6.0_07) with Internet Explorer 8?

Question about the problem mentioned in subject.
I have configured that JNLP opens with 1.5 version, both versions are enabled in Java Control Panel Runtime Settings but when I try to start a desktop java console says:
Java Web Start 1.5.0_22
Using JRE version 1.6.0_07 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
And the opening of the desktop creates an exception:
Java Web Start - Invalid Argument Error
TooManyArgumentsException[ Too many arguments supplied: {C:\WINDOWS\Temporary, Internet, Files\Content.IE5\....
I'm trying to open my desktop with 1.5 version and other programs with 1.6 version. What is it that I still need to do? I'm kind of confused with this. Some of my collagues have succeeded with this and some doesn't, with the same configuration.
So the question is, how to use multiple JREs with IE8 so that one application uses 1.5 version and others 1.6 version?

I had a requirement to send multiple docs for single id. say for example, i have table emp and document and for single empid field i have multiple documents. i need to transform in such a way that details from emp along with multiple documents for the corresponding empid
in emp table i have : empname , empid, dept, place
in document table i have : empid1 document1,document2 , empid1 document3,document4
means for the same emp id , i have two documents rows.
I dont want send emp details multiple times, but for the single emp details i need to send multiple docs.
say empid1,empname,dept,place and document1,document2,document3,document4
i use transformation, multiple docs are not transforming, second details overiding my fitrst transformation.
plese help me , how can i send multiple docs to another service

I must say that your explanation of your problem is a little fuzzy. But as far as I understand it, you would need an xsd of your external service with a list of documents per employee.
The more or less simplest/straightforward way to do it is using a loop in BPEL. Then within an assign in the loop you could do:

I think you could do it as well in a transform, but then you should create a (set of) custom templates that traverses the source list of documents in a recursive way. For some examples you could read this article: http://blog.darwin-it.nl/2013/02/sending-and-saving-emails-in-soasuite.html. Because the difficulty in your case is (as I understand correctly) you have a detail table with 2 documents per row. What would be more logical and simpeler is if you would had 1 document per child-row.
If you could redesign your source-model into a single document per row, then in the xslt-transform you could do just the for-each construct.

How to handle multiple option selected in JSP?

Imagine in a jsp page we have 7 check boxes with 7 different option.
When user selects each chk box data should be fetched from respective table.
Scenario:
User can select 1 or more option in jsp page,in osb how to query multiple tables dynamically for the user selected options without using if else in message flow/switch in XQuery as no of combinations will be more .
Can any of you guide us on this?

For 7 options if we create 7 BS and for single selection based on the option selected we can invoke the respective BS.
But if user selects more than 1 option ,i need union response of 2 respective business service .How can we achieve this , Do we have option to combine result from 2 DB adapter/2 BS to single result in OSB?
Current method i try to follow,we have a single db adapter configured to get union response for all 7 options from DB.based on the user option i need to filter data for each eg - meterid i have in my master collection..planned to write query transformation of response data as needed for option user selects.Is this a better approach?Will this cause any performance issue?Because in my XQuery for each master data i'll fetch other details from DB using fn:bea execute sql..

I assume you are using the Shape tool to draw your hexagons. After you drag out the shape, use the Transform controls to tweak the size, so that the width is evenly divisible by 4, and the height is an even number. If you wand a gap between shapes, include that in your adjustments. Make a note of the new width and height.
Once the scaling is committed and the shape is selected, Control+Alt+T to Free Transform Copy, and in the Option Bar, set the X and Y to Relative. Set X to zero, and Y to the height you set earlier, and commit the Transform. Then Repeatedly press Shift+Control+Alt+T to make more transformed copies.
With a vertical column of shapes, Alt-Click on the Shape Path in the Paths panel to select the whole path. Control+Alt+T again. This time, again using relative, set X to three-quarters of the width you noted earlier, and Y to one-half the height, and commit
Finally, again Alt-click on the Shape Path in the Paths panel, and Transform Copy relative with X = one and a half times the width you noted, and Y to zero. After committing this, Shift+Control+Alt+T as above to extend more columns.
And JJ, those are Octagons .

With 1 payload it successfully shows the data in Target side,
But while testing with multiple line items,i am getting an error as follows.

So please provide me the steps how to pass multiple records to target side using xquery.

You have to do something like the example bellow, you can not just repeat the inner element, you will need an outer "container" tag. So you will have to change the target element of your xq transformation.

How to create ADF region without Task Flow

I want to divide my page into different regions, but I don't want to have any bounded task flow under each region. I want to include Page Fragment inside the Region.
I find the example of creating Region using some page flow, would you please help me, how to create Region that contains only page fragment, actually the problem I am facing, I don't know what I will provide in value attribute in Region tag, that is expecting some Region Model.

A solution could be to generate 'MultiTaskFlow' for indeterminate number of regions or multiple regions on the same page.
It would be necessary to create a single file to define all participating 'TaskFlows' on page:
1. Select 'new -> ADF Task Flow (JSF/Facelets)'
2. May include all 'jsff' files as:

One save button, multiple regions question

Hi. I have a question dealing with multiple regions in APEX 2.2. I would like to have a page with two regions. The top displays account transactions for the current period. Due to the nature of the application, there are a fixed number of transactions per period and all fit in one page.
The bottom regions displays the ROI value for the current period. It pulls from a table that has exactly one row per period. The period is always the same for the top and bottom region.
The current generation of the page shows the account transactions. The region was generated using the wizard and has a type of "SQL Query (updateable report)." As it, it works nicely.
When we added the new region for the ROI, we used the wizard, too. The ROI region has the same type ("SQL Query (updateable report)." We have just one SAVE button on the page and it does the submit.
The problem is that when we save, we get an error:
Error in mru internal routine: ORA-20001: Error in MRU: row= 1, ORA-20001: ORA-20001: Current version of data in database has changed since user initiated update process.
If we delete the bottom region then we don't get this error.
The fields that it shows are always from the top region, even if we're only updating the ROI. From what I understand, APEX thinks that the cached values have been updated in the database. Since we're testing on a dedicated box, I know that no one else is making updates. I've also seen this error when we've accidentally rearranged the order of the fields in the report query. I think that's not the case here since deleting the new region makes the page work as expected.
My question is how can we get the two regions to work together on the same page?

Hi,
When working with report regions only one could be updateable report. You need to delete the region that's not updatable and recreate it as an non-updateable report.
If need to update another table use a process (PLSQL) called when your save button is pressed.

In our requirement is mutiple documents send through mail adapter, In custom java module we read the each document details and do it bussiness process. But now i am not able to read the multiple files at a time. we are able to read single file only. So plz give the solution for that.
1) How to send multiple attachments(like word, PDF, JPG etc..) using mail apapter.
2) How to read multiple attachments in custom java module.
