How to transmit V/A signal over internet?

I have transmit the signal over network successfully,but how to transport them over internet?
I use AVTransmit2.java or VideoTransmit.java can transport the V/A signal over network,but the sample need to fill in the parameter.
I hope transmitting V/A signal over both network and internet,what should I do?I think it cannot solve by fill the first parameter.
pls help me!

I purchase my TC 2 days ago in order to both back up my files and to be able to access files stored in TC over the internet.
After some time (and frustration!) I found that TC cannot be used as a router with sky broadband. This is confirmed by Sky technical help line and via this forum

So I connected my TC to my router via an ethernet cable. I can back up using my mac book air running the latest mountain lion. My problem is that I cannot tick the "share disk over wan" option in Airport Utility which I think I need to do before I can access files over the internet. This option just doesn't appear and reading other forums, I think it is because my TC is not the router.
Is there some work around or configuration that will allow me to get that option to tick or to able to access my files on the TC over the net?
Ultimately, I would like to access my TC files using my ipad.

The TC should be in bridge mode.. in bridge there is no WAN port.. so you cannot tick to share files over WAN because there isn't one.
But you can still share files.. there is nothing in the documentation for BTMM and iCloud that says the TC has to be the main router.. although doubtless it will make it easier.
How exactly are you trying to access the files now??
If you are not using BTMM and iCloud please describe what you have done.
It is no problem if you have a fixed ie static public IP to access the TC even without BTMM.
There is plenty of descriptions of the method around the net.. just google it.

The TC is indeed bridged in this case.
You simply forward port 548 from the sky router to the TC.
Ultimately, I would like to access my TC files using my ipad.
This is where life starts to get hard.. to access the files you need AFP files protocol which ipad does not use.You cannot use ipad to get files at all from the TC without a file browser.. the vast majority of which use SMB protocol which will not work over the internet in most cases. ( it is too big a security risk).
There is only one file browser I know of for iPad that is AFP based. file connect.

But I am not sure if it will work over BTMM.. to get files remotely.
Nevertheless if you have a connection remotely to the TC by direct means you may be able to access files.
I have done it with a MBP sharing files on a bridged TC, to a person on the other side of the world. No issues and as long as you have a static public IP it is easy.
If you don't then see if it is cheap to buy one.. some ISP will offer static IP for a single charge of $20 or something.
Some want $10 a month.. that is too much.
Or use DynDNS in the sky router. That is the way we get around dynamic IP most people use.
Just look up your sky router manual for dynamic DNS servers it supports.
I am iPadless.. and probably willl remain so for the foreseeable future.. so I cannot test it for you. IMHO internet security does become an issue with this sort of thing. There are other means to be considered.. namely vpn.. which I know the iPad and Macs support but the TC has not got vpn endpoints available.

How to view change in signal over specified time

I'm trying to create a .vi that will view an incoming signal (temperature or pressure, in this case), compare it to data over a specified amount of time, find the delta, and if it fits into a set range, output a true boolean.
In real terms, I want to view a temperature over, say, the last five minutes, and if the delta is less than two degrees, light up a boolean.
I know I'll need the elapsed time module, with a control multiplied by sixty for the "time target", and the "time has elapsed" as the boolean control. I'm assuming it will also look at a comparison between the present values and the values stored in an array and if it's outside the specified delta it will output a true value to the "reset". This will also have to reset the array, is my assumption.
I'm new to programming in general, and LabVIEW, so that's about as far as I got in the logic before I decided to see what the forums have to offer.

How to send power-on signal over tty-a instead of keyboard

I have an u-10 running without keyboard and without screen; but only connected through a serial line on tty-a port.
I can shutdown on poweroff via 'init 5'.
But how can I get the maschine power-on with going to the maschine and pressing the power buttom.
Can I send power-on via tty-a ?

It is not possible.
The hardware design of U-5/U-10 systems is simply as a desktop system, not a server.
(They share the same systemboards so they are the same system design.)
Once you've brought your Ultra-10 to a power-off state, it's an inert lump of equipment.
The front power button needs to be pressed to latch the power to an "on" state.
This is the same as for any off-the-shelf PC design from Dell, Gateway, Compaq, etc, for the same 1997 time frame. (that is when the U5's and U10's were being developed)
You could possibly choose to bring the system down to run level 0 instead, leaving it at OBP.
You would not save any electrical costs, but at least the OS wouldn't be active.

Anyway you need to have the data to compute the average... and usually you don't get the data point-by-point unless it is very low frequency acquisition.
If it is the case, you have to update your 2D vector point by point and then compute the average after each new point (much slower process indeed). You keep say 20 vectors of data and fill in the data (1, 2...20) and then( 1,2..20), so you compute the average on the last 20 acquisitions

How to transfer more than one files over internet at once?

hi, friends,
I just wonder how to transfer more than one files from one computer to another over internet at once. Not using ftp. pls any one give me the solution.

This isn't hard to do, but it depends on your exact need. I did something very similar to let me upload all my mp3 file from home to work using sockets (don't have the code anymore..).
What I did was implement a "pull" approach rather than a "push" approach. In other words, everytime my server got a request from a client, it served up the next file. It didn't know or care that the client was always the same.
If you can set up a server to serve one file when a client attaches, then basically just put that code in a loop.
If this doesn't meet you need, it might still be helpful as a starting point...

The NI-CAN driver brings examples for nearly every use case. Driver version 2.4 or later has the Write multiple function to write multiple frames at ones.
There is an example available for LabVIEW, CVI and VC/VBasic called CAN Transmit multiple.

What do you mean by converting Timestamp to DBL? Timestamp contains all date and time information. You can convert it into string format as shown below and then use the relevant data from it by string operations.

Can someone advise pls if signaling in an ITP setup be carried over the internet?

I've used ITP for some purposes and it always used IP/SCTP for transport. Since IP is used over Internet, there should be no reason that ITP signalling could not be sent over internet.

You need to deactivate the software first from the old machine if you dont intend to use it on that machine.
To deactivate the software you need to launch the software, goto the 'Help' menu and select 'Deactivate'.
Since this was an online order, you can simply download the software on to your new computer from your Adobe account and use the serial number to activate it.
If this is a retail license then as per the End User License Agreement you can install the software on 2 machines, i.e. you can retain the copy on the old machine as well as install a caopy on the new machine.

I need to control my IP cameras over the internet. I need to log into the cameras and then display the video. There's an ActiveX control registered on the computer and works fine with IE to access and control the cameras. Controlling the cameras using IE works fairly well, but there are some quirks that I'd like to eliminate by using my own custom code.
Has anyone created a vi that controls a Foscam FI8905W over the Internet? I’ve attempted, but I keep getting a catastrophic failure when I try to call ManagementConnect Method in the DVM_IPCam2 ActiveX Control Module V1.0. I'm not sure whether I need to establish an IP connection with the cameras first, or allow the ActiveX control to establish it for me.
Some example code would be greatly appreciated. Running LabVIEW 2011 on a Win7 32bit. Even some code used to control a similar device using ActiveX over Internet would be helpful.

I have an example vi for interfacing to the foscam activex.
I plan on using mouse click events within the activex window to trigger the PT function.
I only have the basic up/down/right/left directions and not the down-right/down-left/up-right/up-left in the enum. You can load the camera's web page and view the source to see the Java script code that uses the activex control. There are definitions for the other directions.
I had to mark the control as "Disabled" to keep click events from going to the activex control. If I double click the control, it goes full screen. If I then click on it to get out of full screen mode the video never returns or returns to the wrong spot in the VI.

How to Transmit video over h263-2000/rtp

I want to transmit a 3gp video over h.263-2000/RTP but this format is not supported by JMF APIs. I tried installing Fobs4jmf plugin in order to read 3gp video file but the supported output formats are h263/rtp and jpeg/rtp....nothing about h263++/rtp. Any ideas?

If you are using JMStudio, click File -> Transmit, capture for the capture of webcam, then you click "Next" and finally you must insert IPaddress of computer destination and port number (for example 1550).
On computer destination open JMStudio, click file, then click RTP session and finally you must insert IPaddress of computer(transmitter) and numberport=1550.
I always use this numberport. On the same computer not work.
