How to transport standard table entries

Hi All,
I want to transport SAP standard tables records from one server to another server in append mode. It is actually required for upgradation purpose.
Can anybody please guide me in this regards ?

Thanks for your suggestion! but one problem I don't have the Transport Entries submenu enabled for all the SAP standard tables. Is it table specific ?. Please let me know how to enable this sub menu or is there any other generic method to attach the records of any SAP standard table in a TR.

2. goto se09 and create a new
customizing rqeuest.
3. after that
in the object list,
go in edit mode
and a new window will come
where u can add the objects(in table control)
4. there u put
program id = R3TR
object type = TEXT
object name = TEXT,YHRS_FNF_LTR,YHR1,E
where
TEXT = TEXT
YHRS_FNF_LTR = name of standard text
YHR1 = TEXT ID
E = english language

Hi,
For uploading/downloading into different servers.
follow the following steps.
execute the program RSTXSCRP
for DOWNLOADING
1. select form radio button and enter the form name in Object name field and mode as IMPORT.
2. In ctrl parameters for file operation
select first radio button Form and give file path to down load and execute.
for UPLOADING
3. select form radio button and enter the form name in Object name field and mode as EXPORT.
2. In ctrl parameters for file operation
select first radio button Formand give file path to upload and execute.
for Copyinnto different clients
Go to SE71 > utilities-> copy from client-->give source form name and give target form name(Zform) execute.

Can anybody please tell me how to do a table entry. Ex., something we were trying in MRKO transaction. System gave the status as " entry ..... is missing in table T052 ? what I have to do now.

T052 table is for payment terms.
Goto OBB8 t.code, maintain entries there.
I think you have not maintained payment terms in your consignment.

Then main pricing related tables are KONH header details, and KONP item details.
The other tables your have mentioned like A601,A609.............. all these are condition tables, which stored the values which you save for access sequence combination.
Eg : For condition type PR00, lets us assume one key combination customer/material, so these details will be saved in condition table which is initially generated with fields as a part of condition techinque.
So here the table would be A005 i guess or its A006.
So like wise there will be condition tables for each key combination.

How to transport standard text in SO10 to different system.

Hi,
I need to change the standard text in SO10. I need to change the custom text. We have a custom text id (zval) associated with it. How to transport the changes i have done from Dev to Quality to Production.
I wanted one clarification: when we create the transport manually, whether only those changes what i have done for the text can be transported or it will include all the other text which are initially present (like table entries). From the program RSTXTRAN, can you give the what are the inputs need to given.
Please let me know regarding this. Thanks in advance

Steps..
Create a work bench CR in the transaction SE09..
Modify the task to Development correction / Repair..
Go to the program RSTXTRAN..
In the name of correction give the task number (Not the CR number)
Give the Text Key..Your standard text name..
Press F8...
Press select all..
Then Press enter..
Then press the button "Trsfr texts to corr".
Now the standard texts will be moved to a CR..
Then release the CR and move it to QA..

You can use program : RSTXTRAN
Navigation -> goto SE38 -> enter RSTXTRAN -> execute ->
Name of correction -
text key -object - TEXT
text key- name - enter standard text name
Text id - ST
Text key language - EN
execute now -> select text here -> enter -> now click on push button trsfr texts to corr -> you will get pop up window( request)

About Customizing Tables..
Definition
The Customizing data in a customer client is not overwritten by a language import or an upgrade. Data is only imported into client 000.
This is because Customizing data is the responsibility of the customer and cannot be overwritten by data from SAP. This also applies, without restrictions, to translations.
However, customers may occasionally want to update their sample data and default settings with the latest translations from SAP.
Use the report RSREFILL and a reference language to update translations in a customer client.
For more information about this program, see the documentation on RSREFILL and Note 48047.
Note that the link between the translation environment and the Change and Transport System enables you to create translations for texts in one system, record them in transport requests, and then distribute them to other systems in your system landscape. As of Release 4.6C, the old SMLT function for supplying Customizing data with the SAP standard translation (normally only imported into client 000) is obsolete.
To translate Customizing data, proceed as follows:
   1. Use Transaction SMLT to import the language packages you need. This imports the SAP data into client 000 according to the specifications in the Notes mentioned above.
   2. Create the Customizing data in the customer client.
   3. Use the report RSREFILL to synchronize as many of the translations as possible with client 000. Read the documentation on RSREFILL before doing this.
   4. Use Transaction SE63 to translate any other Customizing texts. Record your translation work in transport requests and then use the Change and Transport System to distribute them in the system landscape.

Transport of Table entries to another Client.

Hello All,
I have a case where a Custom Issue resolution program has been created. We use this interface for logging support issues internally, and the facility for creating the attachments is also provided.(SU53 screens etc). With an onset requirement of System copy, i would like to save these Table data as all the issues are logged in the Issue tracker tables along with attachments.
Can any one let me know how to safegauard this data and save it from wiping out due to system copy.
The tracker is in QTY system and it is having 3 clients. 100,200,300. We are trying to perfrom the system copy on only 100 client and export 200 and 300 and reimport after system copy. So is there any way to transfer this data to 300 and then safely put it bvack to 100 ???

Hi Sri,
If all data you want to save, is stored in Z- or Y-tables, you can always use a normal transport to save the entry's. Thereby it is not necessary to save the tables in another client, that afterwards again is exported, reimported, and then transport the tables back to old client.
In short, you can do the following:
1) Create a new transport request
2) Add the tables to be saved in the transport request.
3) release the transport
4) Do the system copy
5) Add the previous transport to the importqueue after the system copy.
6) Import the transport into your (new) client 100.
I hope this short guideline helps you in usable direction.

How to transport deletion config entry

I have deleted payment terms in Development client and want to reflect the same in Quality.It did not ask for Transport request while deleting.I am aware in case of any addtion or modifications we select the particular new/modified entry and create a transport request by including the changes.
Here I can't do that since entry is deleted.How do I delete the entry in Quality.
Please help.

You can recreate the Transport Request in the following way
1. By seeing the entry in QA recreate the Payment Method in Development client and at the time of saving ensure that a transport request is prompted.
2. You will have to delete the Payment Method and SAVE IT IN THE SAME Transport request and then release it to see the effect in the QA client.

2. how could I find a sticky table entry, belong to a certain IP Addres or flow ?

Transporting Z table entries to QA and Prod

Hi Guys,
I have z table (has field MANDT) with delivery class A and no table maintenance in Dev box with 600 records. I need to delete 3 records and change 10 records and then transport them to QA and Prod. I am not adding new records.
I created one CUSTOMIZING transport.
I am using SE16 -> Table Entry -> Transport Entries. It is asking for workbench transport instead of Customizing transport.
Can I transport the deleted and changed entries using WORKBENCH transport?

hi all
i am having standard table J_1IPART2 . in this table i need to modify values of 4 fields with document number i.e with value of one field i need to modify values of 4 fields which already stored in database. can i have any ways to do it
can i write a simple modify program in se38 to modify the values in database. is it work? pls suggest me.

Hi Kumar,
Yes you can write program to update the table directly and modify the entries for the specific document number, however this is not a recommended way as the database may become inconsistent with different entries maintained in different related tables.
So before updating the table entries make sure the values you are updating are maintained in only this table and not anywhere else for the respective document number.

We are in the process of implementing SAP E-recruitment EHP5. System has been set up. We have also activated the following business functions

But i am not able to find any entries in any of the standard tables(t77rcf*). Say for e.g. i cannot find any standard activities in the table.
Is there anything else that needs to be done, so that all the standard entries are visible.
Do i need to copy all the tables from client 000??
Please guide me in rectifying this issue.

Hi,
it depends on the settings for the client copy if customizing entries from client 000 are copied or not.
I general all entries in SAP customizing tables are examples and no "SAP standard". So in all of my projects I start from empty customizing tables for activities as I setup the system according to the customer requirements and do not care much for the SAP examples.
If you really want to have these sap examples as a starting point you can run report rhttcp77 for tables t77rcf* to copy the entries from client 000 to your working client.

How to Generate Audit table entries for user navigation in ADF application?

I have a requirement that I need to have audit table entries for each user action in my application. Along with entries for user actions like insertion,deletion and updation I also need to have entries in the audit log even when a user simply navigates to or views any page.
Although I was successful in creating the entries for user actions like insertion,deletion and updation I failed to do so for simple user navigation through the pages.
Can anyone please help me out?
