Try using one ot the several WiFi transfer apps in the App Store. I do that all the time, back/forth between iPhone and iPad Mini. Works with videos, too.

  • How to transfer contact details from iphone 5c to iphone 6

How and different easy way to transfer contact details from iphone 5c to iphone 6.

    Greetings bhabaniprasad,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you would like to transfer your contact information from your iPhone 5c to your iPhone 6. There are a few different ways to accomplish this.
First, if you are using iCloud on your iPhone 5c and Contacts are turned on, you simply need to sign in to that same iCloud account on your iPhone 6 and turn Contacts on.
Get help using iCloud Contacts - Apple Support
If you do not use iCloud, you can backup your iPhone 5c to iTunes and then restore your iPhone 6 from that backup.

  • How to transfer contact list from iphone 4 to 4s

Appreciate advice  about transfering the contact list from iphone 4 to Iphone 4s.

Just sync your contacts to the same address book or cloud service you're syncing them with on the old phone.

  • Can I transfer contact info from iphone back to my Mac?

Ok, now that I have organized and updated my iphone with all of my personal and business contact info, can I transfer all that info back to my Address Book on my laptop?

    1)  Copying personal photos and videos from iOS devices to your computer
After you have Edited your Photos...
    2) Connect your iPad to your MacBook Pro and Sync the photos you want back on your iPad.
    Read here...
In iPhoto create a New Album and call it something like ' iPad Pictures '... Put all the photos you want into that Album...
When Syncing with iTunes... Select that iPad Pictures Album and Sync.

  • Transferring Contact Info from iPhone to another phone

Back before I had the iPhone, my wife and i could share contacts by swapping sim cards, she'd copy all the contacts from my sim card to her phone. I'd like to share my iPhone contacts with her non-iPhone - is there a way for me to copy my iPhone contacts to my iPhone sim card?

No, the iPhone does not and cannot store contacts on the SIM card (although it can import data from a SIM card, it can't write contact data to a SIM card).
You'd need to sync those contacts with your computer, then sync her phone with the computer (if it supports that).

  • HT1386 when syncing everything except my photos gets done, i don't know how to sync my photos from iphone to computer

when i sync everything gets done except my photos, i don't know how to have my recent photos from iphone synced into my computer.

You don't sync photos taken with your iPhone camera, you import them:

  • Putting Info from Iphone onto computer

I just had to have my computer serviced and the tech reformatted my hard drive trying to fix an apparent software program. Win 7, 32bit. I've got all the information including contacts on my iphone and want to get it onto the computer. Everything I find is for putting what's on the computer onto the iphone. I need to do it the other direction. I've done a LOT of work creating my contacts and do NOT want to have to re-type everything to get it onto the computer. I've not used outlook before but understand I can sync between them, so guess I can become a user if I have to...but I don't want to have to re-type 130 contacts with multiple phones, emails, and addresses. Please tell me there is a way to transfer into to the computer without losing it on the iphone.

By design, the iphone will sync itunes content with one computer at a time. Any attempt to sync such content with a second computer will result in ALL itunes content being first erased from your phone & then replaced with the content from the second computer. This is a design feature and cannot be overridden. The itunes content sync is one way: computer to phone. If you have photos that were synced to your phone or music ripped on your own that were not backed up, you will first have to extract them from your phone using third party software:
    http://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/index.php
Once you've done that, do the following in the order specified:
    1. Disable auto sync when an ipod/iphone is connected under preferences in itunes, which in windows is under the edit menu.
    2. Make sure you have one contact & one event in whatever programs you use for that purpose on your computer. The entries can be fake, doesn't matter, the important point is that these programs not be empty.
    3. Connect your phone, itunes running, do not sync at this point.
    4. Store>Authorize this computer.
    5. File>Transfer Purchases(To make sure all purchased content on your phone will be in your itunes library).
    6. Right click in the device pane & select reset warnings.
    7. Right click again and select backup.
    8. Right click again & select restore from backup, select the backup you just made. When prompted to create another backup, decline.
    9. This MUST be followed by a sync to restore your itunes content, which you select from the various tabs, You'll get a popup regarding your contacts & calendars asking to merge or replace, select merge.
Your contacts will now be in whatever supported application you use for that purpose on your computer.
That's as good as it gets without a backup of your itunes library.

  • Transferring contact info from iPhone to a non-ATT phone

Sadly, I'm having to give up my iPhone tomorrow and move to Verizon. The signal strength I get from ATT just stinks...has been getting worse over the months. Most often my phone reads "No Service" in my apartment and for blocks up and down the street. I live on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, and there is supposedly a tower just blocks away. I've replaced the phone itself, the SIM card, software updates, complained to ATT over and again, but no improvement. No more about this, apparently a very common story with many ATT customers.
My question is about getting ready to transfer my service. What can I do to get my contacts out of the iPhone so I can import them to an LG model. I have synced the phone with itunes numerous times,as well as updated the software thru itunes. Are the contacts now on my SIM card? There must be a post in this forum about this, but I can't find it. Can anybody help me?

While the iPhone is connected to iTunes check to see if your contacts are being synced to an address book on your computer. You will find this in the Info tab when you select the iPhone in iTunes.
Once you have chosen an address book on your computer and synced your iPhone your contacts will then be on your computer.
You need to then find out how you sync the contacts on your computer with the LG phone.
