How would some of you recommend one takes care of ones microphones, is it best to just leave them out in the vocal booth or is it better to pack them all away after use?

Putting your mics away is good suggestion but sometimes the extra movement of constantly taking your mic out of the shockmount and into it's case can also cause undo knocking of the diaphram. I have one main Nueman that I keep on the stand, out of the way where it can't be knocked over and I simply put a ziplock bag over it keep out moisture and dust. This cheap trick works great for lower end mics that don't come with a fancy case but still need protection.

Have you read the User's Guide for that printer? Odds are you will get reasonable prints. However, it is a photographic printer. That said, it should print excellent quality photographic files. To get smooth lines in Illustrator, try Preferences > Use Anti-Aliased Artwork. That will smoothen the output. If, for some reason, that does not work, try Print > Save As PDF > open PDF in Reader and print from there. Check the User's Guide for media sizes available for your particular printer. Setup your artboard to the size page you want the image to print on. Use View > Show Page Tiling ( to see where the page's printable area lies. Align the page with the artboard using the Page tool.

The example I have in mind is if company decides to break down raw materials from the finished goods and re-use it Maybe anyone of you have other examples. But in any case, what I want to know is how we treat it in Finance? What are the accounting entries upon return and upon re-use?

Quite an interesting question!!
1. when you receive the returned goods,
           Stock Dr
              Change in Stock Cr
2. Assume your material returned is FG A and it has components B and C... Now you want to cannibalize A and retrieve B and C out of it
This process is more like a rework.. Process steps could be as below
a. Create a Production order for B - Planned Qty = 1 (Separate order type)
b. Component in the Production order will be FG A (1 Qty)
c. Add Component C as a By Product in the Production order BOM i.e. with Qty = - 1 (Negative)
d. If you wanna add any Labor or machine hrs, you can aadd manually in the Production order operations
Now, when FG is consumed in the Prod order,
    Consumption of FG   Dr
           Stock   Cr
When stock of B and C will be received,
     Stock of RM   Dr
             Change in stock / COGM Cr

General Q: How to treat the battery

Hi,
I've recently ordered a customized X61 with 8-cell battery and I would like to know what the best way to treat the battery is.
I tried googling it, but there doesn't seem to be a definite answer so I decided to ask it here...
So the Q is, what's should be done to the battery when using AC, possibly for a long time..should it be removed? If yes, is it better to have it removed when fully charged, or around half-way (or 40%, as mentioned elsewhere)?
I also had a vaio notebook before, and from experience, I could tell that my battery pretty much wore out in about a year, when using AC power almost 100% of the time and keeping the battery inside.

first load your battery 36h long, then discharge it, then load for 24h, then discharge it, then load for 12h and discharge.
After that, your battery knows, when it is totally full and is therefore calibrated.
second a Thinkpad has got a program called Energy Manager.
This controls your charging levels of your battery. I have set it to automatic and the TP is always on AC with
batttery pack installed, but you set the charging levels by your own.
Result: My battery has got 72 loadcycles after one and a half year, and has got it´s full capacity!!! 56,16 Wh!
Sometimes even more. No battery wear so far!
But this is just my opinion how to treat the Tp´s battery pack. Others may vary.

Dear Balaji,
There is no seperate document type for the sample process in SAP R/3.
We can copy standard document type OR then we can rename ot according to ours.
One more importent point is pricing to the samples.
We need to define the seperate pricing procedure to the samples as per the requirement and we need to determine that according to the Customer , Document pricing group and sales area.
Noramally for sample only tax will be charged so we need to define pricing procedure in suchway.

Hi,
the JFP1 and JFP2 connectors cannot be used for connecting the case's front panel audio ports. You have to use the JAUD1 Connector.
The Pinouts of the JAUD1 Connector are described in the user manual. If you want a more detailed pin definition, check the Intel Front Panel I/O Connectivity Design Guide, page 22 (Intel® High Definition Audio):

Looks like your case's wiring is not fully compatible with the Intel HD Audio/Azalia Connectivity Standard, so don't be surprised that the JAUD1 Connector has more pins than you have wires. Connecting the microphone should be pretty easy anyway. There are basically just two possible positions. The GND-Wire goes to the GND-Pin (2). The two MIC-Wires go to the two MIC-Pins (1 and 3). Try both positions, one of them should work. When you test the microphone and it does not work, make sure you try the following things:
1) Disable the Front Panel Audio Jack Detection in the Realtek HD Audio Manager
2) Run the microphone calibration utility (called miccal.exe (it is in the Realtek Installation folder))
3) Enable Microphone Boost

Fair enough, these are basically media files that will be read and then played. At the moment the application is stand alone so all the functions take arguments as files. Now however, if I want to add a file which is on lets say at some webserver, then i have got the problem. Because i cant find a way to treat the URL as a local file. However, the idea of extending the java.io.FIle is good but still too long.

I am working with the Process industry client. Here one raw material goes with chain of process. In one plant half of the process will carried out and the rest of the half process would be carried in another plant. the entire accounting entry would be as follow.

Hi Ravi,
I have discussed with my user. The business requirement is they want the plant wise Balancesheet and Financial statement. If i do the stock transfer from one plant to another it is very difficult for me to get the balance sheet. What we are planning is while transfering one plant to another the FG invertory credit agaist Intra transfer account (One P&L account) then in the receiving end the intra transfer a/c debit to FG inventory so that i can get the trial balance.
I will get back to you once i get the solution for this. Let me know if you have some idea on this.

I will try to explain my self the best way I can...
The right shoulder zone of my little soon get fried by the light in the photo, although the rest of the image (witch doesn't matter for this question) is absolutely "perfect" in terms of exposure and sharpness.
NOTE we are talking about a photo at the beach so, we are talking about correcting the skin and not clothes .
I tried some ways to solve this:
1-
I duplicated the image into another layer and decrease its exposure and treated it thought a mask visible on the fried zone but.
Result : The decreased exposure layer gets too gray in the fried zone.
2-
I tried to clone the color and tone of the left shoulder to the right fried zone
Result : It works to some extent until I reach the axilla. As it is a more textured zone the clone tools doesn't work at all.
3-
I tried the same with healing tool.
Result : More or less equal to point 2.
Obviously my question is :
Is there any way to treat efficiently this fried zone, giving it the color and tone appearance of the non-fried zone (at the left shoulder) but maintaining the texture of the axilla?
In other words: Remove the light fried zone and let persons believe absolutely both shoulders was ever at shadow (like the left soulder side) and the right shoulder was never fried ...
Could you explain this to me, step by step ?

Sorry but I don't know exactly what do you mean with "pickup a light pink". Are you talking about the collor picker tool to pick up a pink tone from the area in shadow next to the bruned out ?
