How to trigger a workflow notification when DESADV reaches a status 51.

Hi,
A notification to the a user should be sent when DESADV goes to a error status 51.
I'm in SAP6.0 :
Basic type: DELVRY05
Message type: DESADV
Idoc: IDOCDESADV
Event: inputErrorOccurred
Task to be linked for the event : TS00008178
In SWETYPV the event is active, still this event is not getting triggered when the Idoc goes to 51 status.
What am I missing? Is there any configurations that I'm missing?
Can anyone please help me to fix this?

Event "inputErrorOccurred" is still not getting triggered....
For this event there are many parameters, Do you think this may be the reason?
I DO NOT THINK SO.
In IDOCDESADV business object, I put a break point in the method INPUTFOREGROUND. When I tried to execute this I will get the required output but the control doesn't stop at the break point.
YOU'RE TRYING TO EXECUTE THE METHOD BUT THE ISSUE IS EVENT NOT RAISED WHEN IDOC ERRORS OUT(STATUS - 51).
Please try this and let me know.
Try to put a break point in the IDOC function module
and create the error IDOC using WE19.
Your function module should populate the workflow related parameters in the IDOC funtion module.

First of you need to check if the transaction has a BO (in released status) published to use the GOS.
These are the pre-requisites for GOS

Once done.. check that you have valid workflow linkages active for this BO.
Now when you click on the 'start workflow' the system will show all relevant workflows for the BO to choose from and to start.

There is two way to find the task and workflow....
In pftc tcode, you can check the task and where it is used by giving the task type as standard and task as 00008178.Display the task,then check where it is used.
Another way is:
1.Goto swdm tcode.
2.Select the Object tab.
3.Choose catagory as BOR object type and give the Object type as IDOCDESADV.
4.Then it'll display the task which is refering the method of the IDOCDESADV object.
5.Click on that task.It'll come to right window.Now select the where used icon...
6.If there is any workflow,then It'll display the workflow template number,name,step, and client.

How to trigger a workflow when a bank record of an employee is delimited

Hi Friends,
I want to trigger a workflow when a bank record of an employee is delimited(Infotype IT0009). When delimiting the bank info, the old record's ENDDA is changed and a new record is created with the BEGDA. In this case two events are triggered one is BANKDETAIL-CREATED and other one is BANKDETAIL-DELETED.
Which one should i use to trigger my workflow.
Note : If we use the creation of new record for triggering workflow, then in case when the record is created for a new employee then the workflow will be triggered. To control this can we check whether there is an existing entry in IT009 for the employee or not. If an entry already exist then trigger the workflow else not. Is this ok? Please advice.

Here i think none of the events would actually help you in achieving what you want because you want to trigger the workflow when the account is delimited not when the account is either created or deleted.Please look for some other information to trigger your workflow.Will get back to you if i had any ideas.

for these kinds of issues,
foirst check if a uefull event already exists in the system
for this you first actiave the event trace: SWELS.
Then you change the info record.
And then you read the event log with SWEL.
If there's no event, you may eventually have to create it in an exit with SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT fm

Pls advise me here, heard that through Exit 'EXIT_SAPLCOBT_001' (PPCO0001) we can inform an MRP controller or a Workflow message when a production order is changed. I've tried with that but none am getting it.
Pls help me how to use this exit and is there any other way to do a notification in my SWBP -Workflow?

1. Creating a web dynpro program
2. User can execute the program and input data on it. Such as Expense application, Leave application...
3. When the user click the "Apply" button on the form, the application should be sent to the boss for approval.

I have achieved the similar functions in SAP ERP systems, by generating Events in my custom programs.
But I don't konw how to do it in SRM 7.0.
Or it is impossible to achieve it, under Process Controlled workflow architecture.

I have the following urgent requirement, my client is implementing HR and there is a requirement, where is a ABAP Webdynpro component in which we have integrated a Adobe Interactive Form. When the user calls this from through Portal and fills out the relevant data and submits it, a Workflow in the backend ECC system should lauch,
I am not familiar with, this concept although I have worked in Workflow this is the first time I am interfacind with ABAP Webdynpro and Adobe Interactive From.

If you are using HCM Processes and Forms, the Workflow and form are not directly related, thats true.
But the method in the task calls the corresponding webdynpro application which responds to the action triggered by the user in turn to trigger the workflow and update the data in the HR Master Data.
There are 3 layers 1. UI (webdynpro which launches Adobe Interactive form based on ISR Framework)
2. Workflow
3. Backend framework (used for retrieving F4 helps, default values, save data in the infotypes).

in SAP Netweaver, its a GP Workflow. And Ztransaction(Developed by ABAP) will be seen by user through portal and
he save transaction on PORTAL, In backend ABAP program will run , and after meeting certain condition, it should create
or(Initiate) GP workflow(process).
So my question is , how ABAP Program will call GP workflow, How the connection will be made in between ABAP Code and GP workflow framework.

If you are asking if a workflow can be started on R/3 while in Excel - may be possible if you can develop some fancy macros that can make RFC calls to an ABAP function module. I won't even attempt to travel that route.
Save the excel sheet as CSV or Tab delimited file and process it using ABAP. You can use the WAPI function module SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT (Rel 4.7)to start the Workflow by raising the relevant event. In earlier releases, see FM SWE_EVENT_CREATE.
Please do keep in mind there could be performance and response time issues for dialog users of the system if you are going to start several workflows using a report program.

In the receiver type, just mention some unique name.In the receiver function module mention the async RFC.
